This place was a perfect place for breakfast on my trip to Put-In-Bay! They had a variety of crapes from sweet to savory. I had the Forge Breakfast which was scrambled eggs, cubed potatoes, bacon and toast and it was so delicious. The toast was so fresh tasting and they had an amazing jam to go with it. The group of friends that I was with loved it so much that we ended up going their twice to taste more of their breakfast options! Dog friendly outside and the service was spot on. Very welcoming atmosphere and very clean. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Island!

At Put-in-Bay, the gin joints and fried bar food abound. Finally, a gem stands out amidst all the pizza, burgers and boneless buffalo wing drab. Fine food, drink and service is what you will find here. A chef and staff that knows good food is what we look for, and we are pleased to say we have found both at the Old Forge. This is a long awaited addition to Put-in-Bay.

The coffee was excellent - I had an iced latte. Service was too slow, though there were plenty of servers working. The food was not hot once it came to the table, but it tasted very good. They use fresh ingredients, modern breakfast fare in the mornings. I would have given it 4 stars if the service had been better and food had been hot.

The staff was enthusiastic and friendly, the crepes were out of this world, and the ambience (first thing after they opened in the morning) was warm and welcoming. Five stars, but I also dont want to tell anyone lest they be packed every time we go! ;) Great job, you guys!

This place is awesome! If you like crepes, they are killer. But they have a great selection of other food, and great drinks. Staff is great, and they bring great music to the outdoor garden bar. A must stop the next time youre at the Bay!

Place is simply awesome! Servers are very friendly and even made us a list of things to do while in Put In. The food was so good we went back just to relax and talk to everyone again. Everything he we tried food wise was great as well

It is nice that the old blacksmith shop has new life in the Old Forge. Good coffee and dinning outside here is a must in the mini park/alley like setting.
