I ordered a California roll, spicy tuna, octopus nigiri, and yakitori as an appetizer. The yakitori was a bit disappointing. My standard for yakitori is pretty high, but honestly it tastes like Panda Express. Not that Panda Express is awful, just that it wasnt great. This is most of the lost star. The other half is that my appetizer came out after my other food. Pricing is very good. A dollar per roll during happy hour made my wallet happy. The rest was all decent. I was pleasantly surprised. As a stupid peeve, the sushi-ya did not いらっしゃいませ anyone when they walked it. That was a little disappointing. Octopus was good (I have to add the disclaimer "if you like octopus" for anyone who wants to try it.) Spicy tiny roll was very good. Would recommend.

Sushi Cho is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Tucson. They serve very large rolls compared to Sushi Garden and Takimatsu, and their menu for non-sushi lovers is very good. Service is always friendly and quick and they supply complimentary miso soup AND edamame. Although their location is a bit obscure in a strip mall, the dining has a nicer atmosphere for a sit down dinner than most sushi places in Tucson. Very fairly priced as well.

$1 SUSHI SUNDAY THUR THURSDAY The Bomb Happy hour specials like Coconut Shrimp 6 for $4 Scallop Dynamite OMG. TUNA TATAKI $4.95. I go often. They are quick and know what I want. Because I am normally working when I stop in. It is good, clean, and ALWAYS has excellent service. I gave been going there for 14 yrs. Always recommend them to locals and Asian ppl visiting looking for good food. Jeannie

The service here is impeccable! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, and the food comes out FAST! The food is good, and the atmosphere is great for adults, whether they are couples or adult families or single diners. This is a great place for a quick business lunch or dinner, or for a date. The portions are very large for the price, especially at happy hour.

Fast service. Good environment. Great food!! I was looking for a quick healthy meal and I was seated, received and ate my food, and paid my check all within 20 minutes! I was very impressed with the fresh food and delicious tea. Also my waitress was perfect. She didnt check on me too much or too little. I will definitely come back. :)

Staff was very nice and accommodating. They helped me find something my young daughter would like. Very friendly and quick service. Prices on sushi was good, but the dish I had was just a little dull. Flavor was very muted and a bit bland. My daughters kids meal was great though.

The 2 sushi chefs behind the bar cuss constantly in very loud disgusting language in Cantonese, thinking no one in the restaurant understands. My wife has never heard such offensive language in her life. Everything from "f your mother" to ... well, I cant repeat it here.

I came to Tucson on vacation and my sister and I wanted to try a good sushi restaurant. I went Sushi Cho the service was excellent and a great atmosphere. However, the rolls were pretty bland to the places i usually eat at. I didnt leave satisfied.

Not as great as yoshimatsu, in my VERY humble opinion. But, at the end of this meal, as with every sushi meal, it was still worthy of my usual praise : "That was better than sex." So, thank you sushi cho, for another sushi orgasm...

Do not eat here. We sat by the sushi bar and this individual was sneezing over the food and never covered his mouth as he was preparing something. Then, he wipes his nose with his hand and continues to prepare. We left!
