We used to live not far from Max Pizza and this was our favorite place for pizza. We have lived in Virginia now for almost 20 years and each almost annual return trip to CT we make sure to squeeze in at least one trip back to the restaurant - and its always well worth the effort. I returned today and the quality remains just as I remembered. If only I could get their secret or entice them to move south! I verified with the staff that the place is owned by the same family who owned it when I lived nearby all those years ago. The place is not particularly fancy but it was clean and the pizza was still well worth the trip over from my sisters in Watertown. I love the crispy crust and the sauce is great. Now where can I find pizza this good in central Virginia?

Terrible customer service, in and out food is good but there not the nicest people to deal with, have ate there many times will not ever again, to go orders even when you pick it up there, not very cordial at all as well, I like the food but they even screwed up to go orders when there busy constantly, going somewhere else now definitely.

Dont be fooled by the outside appearance or sparse parking in front. It is actually pretty nice, spacious, & clean inside. The waitress was good but the food was just ok. We did only come in for pizza by the slice & a house salad though so maybe I just need to try something else next time.

Excellent pizza, salads and calzones, weve been customers for over 20 years, you cant beat their ingredients and customer service. Spread the word to your friends and family, they have expanded their restaurant double the size ,and even have a rental hall.

I will never eat here again. I will never reccommend this place. I cant even let myself eat pizza until my gag reflex subsides after what Ive just experienced. This restaurant needs the health inspector...FAST!

So accommodating! Had the bristol city series champion redsox team and their families after the final game last minute. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Yummy pizza! Great room for partys!

Our favorite place to stop when were in the area. The renovations have really improved Maxs look but the food hasnt changed! Their pasta salad is one of those things we crave sometimes!
