We were really disappointed after reading so many good reviews. The prices were okay, a bit high for the quality of the food we were served. I ordered the shepards pie, a standard for any Irish or English pup. It looked old, like it had been in a walk-in fridge for a while, potatoes were gray, not browned and it looked like the cook just plopped 4 scoops of fresh mashed potatoes and added brown "Guiness" gravy which was not very Guiness-y. Salad was small and lettuce limp. My wife got the calamari sticks, they were odd. Almost like calamari steak cut up but the server said they were rings that were cut. Breading was just like fish sticks, tasted more of a fryer with old grease than anything else. As a former cook I can detect these sort of oversights that happen in a complacent kitchen with lax management. Decor and atmosphere was barely Irish other than some typical stuff. Sad, as we were hoping for a new pub with decent specials and food. My cocktail was fine, switched to beer, my wifes drink was served in a plastic cup and wasnt cheap. It wasnt late, just after happy hour on a slow Friday and I dont expect plastic cups if Im not seated at the bar and its not midnight. Ill put it this way, we rarely finish our meals if we dont split because of American sized portions; this was the first time in years we didnt bother to take home leftovers.

Sat at the bar, bartenders were very friendly and always ready to refill our glasses. Ordered the happy hour sliders, took about 30-40 minutes for them to arrive on a fairly slow afternoon. Sliders were burnt, little rocks of beef. Only cost a few bucks but I wouldnt take those for free if offered again. Me and my friend came to the conclusion they were the worst we have ever had. Also the entire time we sat at the bar one of the regulars (or possibly a manager?) was sitting there with a fly swatter, and every 5 minutes would kill a fly on the bar like it was a normal thing to be doing. Didnt see anyone wipe the spots down or anything, just a fly wasteland on the bartop. Bartender also told us to cover our food with a napkin if we get up as the flies are a huge problem. Will not eat here again, they do know how to pour a proper pint of guiness though.

An upscale Irish pub experience with well-thought-out menu items and a large Irish and world whiskey selection. The ambience is basic, with wooden benches and tables, and just a wall between the bar and restaurant areas. Unfortunately, the execution of the well-thought-out menu items suffers. An otherwise terrific, freshly-made quesadilla (steak, or grilled or fried chicken) served without salsa? Blasphemy! And the "special dipping sauce" for the house-made onion rings didnt arrive with the dish. Although theres an emphasis on whiskey neat, the cocktail menu could use a few whiskey-based drinks to introduce the timid into the world of whiskey. My favorite menu item: Fish & chips; described as "Icelandic beer battered cod filets." Ive never had cod filets with Icelandic beer batter before! However, the tartar sauce, made in-house, rocks!

Really good food, friendly service, and a relaxed feel. Awesome burgers, fish and chips, and chicken sandwiches. The best part is the whiskey challenge though (theres two of them actually). For the US challenge, theres a list of 13 whiskeys from around the country that you sample to complete the challenge. If you do all 13 in a calendar year, you get to sign a wall in there and you get a t-shirt. The World challenge is basically the same except that there are 17 whiskeys from around the world, and in addition to signing the wall, you also get a trophy. The shots range in price from $7 to $24, but most are around $10-$12. Its a great (and relatively cheap, if you think about it) way to sample a lot of different, high-quality whiskeys so you can find one(s) that you like. The place as a whole is great though, I highly recommend it.

Not great. I had the meatball appetizer and was obviously recently frozen. I determined this from both the hard gritty taste and how quickly it arrived to the table (made it there before the drinks) so it was probably microwaved. The garden salad was half head of iceberg lettuce and a dollop of dressing; didnt eat it although it was the only thing that was fresh. The shepherds pie was also made from a bag of frozen mixed vegetables and Ive never seen the "Guinness gravy" served on the side. The gravy had to be made from instant Bisto granules because there was no way that was made from scratch. Oh, and the Guinness was off - tasted metallic and I wound up leaving half of it there. Wont be going back again.

Stopped in on a Thursday night for a drink. Not a quiet place - trying to be a club, it seems. Music too loud, screens showing videos nonstop, and the flashing lights gave the impression that a police car was right outside the window, flashers running, and wouldnt go away. Worst of all, the beer selection was lacking. Only Guinness for your stout options? How can you call yourself an Irish bar? Hoping there another pub in the area for my next visit.

Nice place for lunch. However, there was a bit of a struggle to watch the NBA game between a patron and someone who worked in the restaurant. In any case, I tried to order the calamari basket but they didnt have any. My next option was the shrimp basket. It was pretty good but the fries were better. They were medium-sized, hot, and melted in my mouth! I also had a nice glass of wine with my meal.

Id give it 2 1/2 if I could. It was just ok. I really liked my bangers and mash, but they didnt even have a good grainy mustard for the bangers. My son ordered a medium rare burger, it was cooked well, fries were run of the mill. My wife said the shepherds pie was good. Just nothing special. I dont think I saw any ownership walking around on a Friday night. My wife says Im picky, so who knows.

Aside from the fact that I ordered a Mama T salad and got a Cobb salad instead that was covered in bacon. It was not kosher and it had to be returned. Very frustrating when your at work and someone else picked up the order. The chicken was tough and dry. I will not be going back. Update - They also overcharged us and wont refund the money. NO THANKS ON YOUR OFFER!

I LOVE GRILL NO.13!!! My friends and I go every Tuesday night for Trivia Night and have won free appetizers a few times! The atmosphere is fun and the food is great!! Anything with the pulled pork is fabulous as well as their mozzarella sticks and chips! They have a wide selection of cocktails and events there too! #grilleno13rocks

This place is usually pretty good, but I didnt have the best food last time I went. The service was ok but the food tasted poorly done. Their food used to be excellent but they might be starting to go downhill a bit. The meatball appetizer for example tasted like it came out of a can.

We have been going to Grille 13, about once a week for a few months. The service is excellent, and the food is very good. The fried are amazing. On Wednesday nights they have an open mic with alot of really good local talent. We generally go on Wednesday night to check out the talent.
