Stopped in here with the kids on our way home from visiting the grandparents. At around 8pm on a weekday there were quite a few people there, but we were seated quickly. The staff working there were friendly and attentive. Our waitress was very friendly made our visit pleasant. She came back often to ask if we needed anything, also checking if everything was OK with our meal. The food was OK, I had a hot pastrami sandwich, it was a little on the dry side, but not too bad. My son had the chicken parm dinner, it was a large order of food, but he finished it and said it was very good. My daughter had the chicken noodle soup and the spaghetti kids meal. She thought it was OK. While the food wasnt spectacular, it was good, it was laid back with some 80s music playing in the background...which my kids were like "OMG what is this music" lol. It was an enjoyable experience.

Russian Tea Room had its ups and downs. The wild mushroom appitizer was very undersized and lacked seasoning. The beef stroganoff was tender to the fork touch seasoned well and flavorful! Went well with a robust Pinot noir suggested by the waitress, was attentive but not invasive to our conversation. The desert was the downfall of my meal. The cheesecake was dry and overly dense and lacked the proper amount of sweetness. The strawberry sauce did help it out some. The Russian Tea Room - New York, NY, United States. Had breakfast this morning. There was enough staff to rotate around the tables offering coffee refills throughout the diner, but yhere wasnt a lot of customers so service was enough. I ordered the terrace triple pancake. The food was okay, nothing to wow about. Its a diner after all. They decorated the place for winter holiday which was nice. But I think if they have the time to do that, they SHOULD have the time to dust off the dusty ceiling lamps. I keep wondering if the dust will fall down onto my food. All in all, its a local diner for local folks. Nothing to wow about.

When ever I am in this section of Queens, I usually pass by to sit down and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. No matter if it is early morning or in the afternoon customers are seated having their meals. Food portions are generous. I have not ordered the same meals from the menu. I always try something new and I am satisfied with this diner. Service is good. I did need to flag down a waitress once because I was settled towards the back of the establishment but I can understand when there is an influx of people already inside. Overall I had a good experience each time I am there.

Cozy little spot in Bay Terrace, located on the 26th Ave side (near the Post Office). Looks pretty deceiving on the outside but pretty spacious...unless you come on the weekends during peak hours. Good diner food; they are one of the few places that get my eggs right. Service is efficient. You get what you ask pretty much without fluff. One thing I dislike is the parking lot...I dont know what it is about this lot and the larger one in the main area but note to park at your own risk. Other than that, this is my go to diner in Bayside/Flushing/Whitestone.

The Terrace Diner is an OK place to eat between shopping excursions at the local mall. The brunch specials are big, enough to satisfy Americans who dont get enough sugary waffles, ice cream, and jelly preserves. Would definitely recommend for those who need the carbs and dont mind the risk of Type 2 diabetes. Good for the whole family!

I love the food always good. How ever the old delevery man is insanely annoying and unprofessional. I order from all the other places in the area every night, And never a problem with there drivers. I will not order from this place again. Dine in do not order till they fire the douche

We come here about one a month or so. Servers are always nice and there is a friendly homey atmosphere. I have enjoyed the food. They will let you substitute lettuce for french fries with a sandwich if you want something lighter, and dont charge.

Surprisingly small menu for a NYC diner. Some portions are small and lack taste. Wait staff adequate but not overly friendly. Good for a quick meal but if you want a nice diner experience, go someplace else.
