I just popped in to this location with no prior knowledge of it after seeing it across from the SLCC South City campus where I attend. I have no idea why this place wasnt packed! I ordered an Italian Meats Sandwich and let me tell you what, it was the best damn sammich I have ever had! The combination and proportions of Italian seasons with oil and vinegar was absolutely perfect. The only downside was the price, although the $7 for my small sub was a well justified price., Grinders was a place that I will definitely be giving repeat business

I dont understand what experience Gene Zdybowicz could be talking about but I guess there are certain people that just have to hate. I guess he expected the sandwich chain type instead of what a real grinder is and would probably prefer a Little Caesars pizza over a real NY pizza. *shrugs* Ive followed Grinders 13 since it was found across the street from my high school and have loved it from the start. I wish it was a lot closer but that is the ONLY complaint I have.

Is this really supposed to be good food? I must be missing something, but I would put it on par with Roller Skating Rink cuisine. (You know...hot pretzels, dry burgers, roller cooked hot-dogs) Im sure I could get a better sub in a high school cafeteria. Other reviews make me worry about the palates of the citizens of SLC. One star for the Jalapeno poppers, you cant really mess those up.

The food was great. I went to the website to see what I was ordering. I called and ordered the 3 FT turkey. Website says its 33$. Go get my food the next day the sandwich is 3$ more and a random 5$ charge. Told them update the website and didnt seem to respond at all. I suppose I get what I paid for. Just update your website please and be more responsive to customer questions

No frills. Just gorgeous sandwiches. I love the flavors at Grinders13. Its not fancy, but they know what theyre doing and theyve been doing it a long time. I recommend the Italian cold cut, but Ive not been disappointed in any of the sandwiches Ive had.

Grinders 13 has been here a long time, and there is a reason for that: because it is awesome! Ive been eating here since high school. I never fail to get the hot peppers no matter what sandwich I order. This a culinary jewel hidden in plain sight!

Great Place! All their sandwiches are great. My go to is the regular Philly Steak with diced Jalapenos added. Its not really spicy but it takes it to another level. Curtis and his team are down to earth and make em right.

Terrible food. Someone said the cheesesteak is better than Moochies, What? Was that written by the owners child? The cheesesteak was terrible. No taste, bland, mushy bread. I will not returning.

The "Italian Meats" is fantastic. (Get the peppers) Although the location has since changed... I remember my dad putting me on the back of his motorcycle to get sandwiches as a young child.

Super affordable and delicious. It is a small space, but I always get my food to go. The deli is fresh. I usually get a regular turkey + cheese sandwich for $6 and you can pay with card.

Sure love this place. There is some kind of magic sauce in the Cheese Steak Sandwich. The hot peppers are a must have with your sandwich. Highly recommend it!
