Hyderabad Biryani House serves one of the most authentic Biryani and Haleem in USA. I stopped here with a friend and tried Goat Biryani Chicken Biryani Goat Haleem chicken 65 Double Ka Meetha Both Chicken and Goat Biryani had distinct flavors and had the right aroma that one expects from a perfectly cooked Biryani. Mirchi ka Salan/ Raita served with the Biryani enchance the taste and their Biryani portions are "HUGE". I would rate their Biryani almost equal to the Hyderabad House Biryani (Devon Street) in Chicago, this restaurant is not a franchise or a chain of theirs. Chicken 65 can be made with different recipes and I liked this version as well. Chicken was covered in right amount of flour/spices unlike restaurants who serve 70% of flour coated on a tiny piece of chicken. Goat Haleem was super, the one being served here is a tradional homemade version of Haleem which is available during Ramadan in Hyderabad and it hits the right spot from the very first bite. Reminded me of the Haleem I ate as a kid at home. Double ka Meetha - there are very few restaurants who serve this dessert because it is difficult to get the consistency right. Either they make it too soggy or keep it hard like "Shahi Tukda" but the one served here had the right consistency and sweetness. I rate this place 5/5 for the Hyderabadi Food they serve. Restaurant is fairly new and is family owned. For now I would call it a self serve place and hopefully when business grows they will operate more as a traditional restaurant. Give them a visit and you will not be disappointed with the food they serve !!

We traveled 40 miles from Lakeland assuming that we would get actual authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. We were really really hungry and with super high expectations. Keep that in mind. So, we arrived there and observed this. First, there was only one kid waiting all the 7 or 8 tables. Lucky for us that the place wasnt all that full. We ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani and Mutton Tahiri Biryani along with chicken 65. Chicken 65 was different, not usual tasting. Mutton Dum Biryani at $15 was a huge disappointment. The Biryani wasnt hot or aroma emanating as you might expect. The Mutton pieces were really hard which we ended keeping aside. The sides Curry and Raitha were great though. We asked the waiter to heat our chicken biryani. In the end the chicken biryani was acceptable but not worth the $12. Seriously we came out of the restaurant thinking well not come back here. Go to Bawarchis at Brandon or Curry Leaves (lunch buffet) at Tampa instead. Youd like them much better.

This was my fourth time returning. Was very disappointed. We brought a large group and the service continues to be horrible. Each dish was brought out seperately with a large 5-10 minute gap between dishes. We had hungry people with us and they were very disappointed. The restaurant has increased the price on some items by almost 50%. The butter chicken went from $8 to $12 so did the chicken 65. I was very disappointed to say the least. The food remains very spicy eventhough we asked the server to make it mild. We will definitely not return. I know they are losing money but you shouldnt compromise service or affordababilty.

I ordered Chicken Biryani, Mutton Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala for take out. When I arrived it was ready but it was all squashed in the bag that so the packages open during the drive home and I had a mess in the bag. However, the Biryani was cooked ok but we missed spices and herbs; too blank for us. The Mutton Curry tasted good but there were only bones in it - no meat. Even our dog was disappointed. The Tikka Masala tasted too artificial. We (5) ate Indian food in every country we traveled to and we eat at least once a week Indian food (take out or cooked by ourselves) but this order dashed our expectations.

My original review of this establishment was a glowing 5 stars. Im very disappointed in the level of service and unprofessionalism I received recently. I called in to place an order for pick-up and was hung up on twice. In addition, I was told that two of my regular order items were no longer being offered despite their presence on the menu. Im actually more sad than angry at this point because these guys have some really great biryani, so good that I was willing to continue driving to their establishment despite recently moving to Brandon, but it doesnt seem like they really want or need my business anymore.

I was a big fan of Hyderabadi style dum biryani while living in Hyderabad 11 years ago. Had eaten in Paradise, Bawarchi and Hyderabad House. The taste I loved and enjoyed the most back then was at Hyderabad House@Hyderabad. After almost 11 years I drove from Orlando to Tampa in my continuous quest for a better biryani. I literally relived every bit of the mutton biryani taste from those good old days. Mutton Dum Briyani, Haleem and Chicken Tahari Biryani were out of the world. I am already looking forward to my next Tampa trip.

Ive gotten the biryani here a couple times and its always good. My friend got butter chicken and it tasted like nacho cheese, then added the spicy red stuff they give you and it tasted exactly like rotelle and Velveeta, definitely weird there. On a side note, the first time I went the biryani was fantastic. About 75% of the way through I realized that it was a spice that grows as you eat it and Im pretty sure my soul was sweating.

This place offers the most authentic tasting hyderabadi biryani (mutton/chicken /veg) , goat Hakeem and Paya. . The food is delicious and home made style with care and flavor. The taste is promising and one of best tasting Hyderabadi food in Florida ! Double ka meetha and qubani is mouthwatering and seriously takes you back to Hyderabad . Wish you more success . Hopefully the delicacy and standard always remain the same!

While on our Disney tour, we stopped at Tampa for Friday prayers. We prayed near this restaurant and were looking for good places to eat. I read some reviews and wanted to try out here. This place has awesome Dum Biryani, Haleem and Double Ka Meetha. Bring a Hyderabadi, it is hard to appreciate the taste of Biryani, but this place proved me wrong. Biryani was really awesome and my whole family enjoyed the food.

They nailed the dum biryani. The combination of biryani with raita and mirchi salan was out of this world. However, the naan we were served is probably the frozen naan from an Indian store- it was not good at all. Also, the non-environment friendly plates, glasses, bowls, spoons and forks was disappointing. But bottom line, if biryani is what you are craving for, this is the place for you.

Ive been here a few times. Just finally writing a review. The food here is authentic Indian cuisine. Kind service with delicious food. Who can go wrong? I eat mild-spicy food. The spice was perfect not overpowering to mask the real flavor. They uphold spectacular ingredients. Feel very blessed to have this restaurant in the Temple Terrace neighborhood . Thanks Hyderabad Biryani!

Simply amazing. Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani cooked in homemade style. I wouldnt suggest this place to be ideal for a fine dining experience, but go for the food. Being a biryani lover, I have eaten biryani at several other restaurants in Midwest and South USA, and this is one of the places I felt immensely satisfied. Grab a take-out and enjoy.
