Service can be hit or miss. Ive eaten here a half dozen times and sometimes the server is prompt, polite and attentive. Other times the server is distracted and disinterested. The food has been very good every time. The portions are more than adequate though it may not seem like it at first because the serving bowls are large. Still, Ive never left hungry. Prices are fair for a short menu. Atmosphere isnt great but thermostat setting has always been comfortable in both summer heat and winter chill. Seating is limited but Ive never had to wait for a table. Overall I recommend zannchi for good food at a fair price which can be hard to come by in Georgetown.

The service was straight to the point. The atmosphere was very cozy, this is a beautiful hip restaurant. I had the japchae as an appetizer, the flavor and texture was amazing! My family had the chicken skewers for theirs and they said it was good, but theyre picky so... meh. Then for my entree I had the tofu and avocado bibimbap. This dish was very colorful and fresh, but I sort of left like there was a lack of flavor. This may be because I have never had Korean before, maybe its not for me. But overall it was a good meal, with hearty portions. I would recommend this place to a friend!

The food at this restaurant is an insult to Korean Cuisine. If youre seeking authenticity, dont go to this place. The bibimbop we ordered literally had four ingredients: rice, meat, onions, and iceberg lettuce. It came with one side of kimchee. $13.50 for that??? The other bibimbop had raw tofu crumbled into the bowl. It was quite disgusting. Life is too short to eat awful, overpriced food. I leave fair reviews and two stars is generous for place. It would be a one star but the interior decor was decent.

Rating for this restaurant on line is very wrong and will not recommend it to anyone. I am Korean and have eaten at many korean restaurants. This was the worst food and service Ive ever had. Not that busy for DC lunch hour we went. Ordered jopchae which was way too sweet and oily, top quality kalbee ( beef) according to them was tuff and very small amount, waiter developed an attitude with wards, serve coked when I asked fork.........I will find another resaturated if I was, you.

Delicious and affordable. Fried dumplings were some the best Ive had, and bibimbap was super flavorful with fresh toppings and incredible fried rice crust. We got there around 7:30 on a weeknight, and were seated right away - perfect spot for a last-minute weeknight date.

The authentic Korean cuisine and the formal setting of Georgetown goes well together on a popular street called Wisconsin. All the staff there is attentive to create a welcoming vibe to not only students but to anybody desiring to taste the healthy food of Korea.

The food was as good as other Korean places that Ive been too, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good and our server was very helpful and attentive to people in our group who were vegetarian or had specific allergies. Food was also prepared very quickly.

Really good food, and a small selection of good beers. Skip the silken tofu with kimchi, but get the fried dumplings for sure. The classic bibimbop is comforting and delicious. For some reason they provide very small dishes of kimchi.

Seems like a new restaurant. I ordered 3 courses and got them at the same time. It was hard to get our Servers attention when we needed something. They also charge for soda refills. Food was just ok to go with the service.

Had the Spicy Pork Bibimbap and Tuna Mayo kimbap: both delicious, but would definitely recommend the first for someone missing good, spicy food.

This place will be fantastic once they get their liquor license!! Got the carmelized kimchi and bulgogi bibimbap, which was fantastic.

A little on the pricy side, but the food is good, the bibimbap is a solid offering. Decor is industrial/barny.
