Awful experience! I called in 4 days earlier (last week) to order meat pies and sausage rolls for pick up on Monday. The lady who took the order told me it would be ready today Monday 12/19/2016 at 12 noon. I got there around 12:35 and my order was not ready for pick up. Then the lady told me they did not have any sausage rolls. Of course, I was furious. No one had the simple courtesy to call and let me know ahead of time that they would not be making sausage rolls. I was highly disappointed because not only was the order not available when I got there, they also wasted my for the meant pies were not ready. I had to wait over 20 minutes. I was very displeased. No one should be running a business like that!

Be ADVISED! THIS IS THE WORST AFRICAN WHOLE IN THE WALL EVER. I went there 5-28-2017 and ordered spinach and a side of goat meat. I asked before I ordered if they had spinach and the hostess LIED only to get a sale. I was given ground up ruff under cooked collard greens and the goat was extremely hard to the point I couldnt chew it. It was old, it smelled bad and it was done and tender. She charged me $14.00 for what was literally GARBAGE SWIMMING IN GREASE. THE FOOD IS NOT FRESH, rather very old. Ive been eating African Cuisine for 25 years and this was the worst. I threw it away. I URGE YOU NOT TO GO AND EAT AT KINGSWAY WEST AFRICAN CUISINE. IM SPEAKING FROM THE HEART. DONT DO IT:(

3 star is too much for this restaurant but I must give honor to whom it is due: below a list of good and bad Good: - They have become better with customer service meeting up with American standard instead of being typical Africa - The food sometimes tastes good(if u have African pallets) - The presentation (food and surrounding)is better - They now say "I am sorry" when they make mistakes Bad: - Actually got running stomach from the efueru - Too much pepper - food too pricey - Quantity horrible - the could do better with foods taste for the amount of money u spend. - They still need help with customer service

I ordered some food today and the male cashier rudely told me that they did not accept cash because their card machine was down. Even though I called on the phone and he could have told me this on the phone instead of wasting my time. Their meatpie doesnt even have enough meat in them. Furthermore their food has no flavor. The 2 times Ive been there they kept me waiting and were unprofessional. Also everybody I know who has gone there complained about their customer service as well.

I would give it 5 stars if the service was better. Just moved from Philly and look all over for African restaurant cuz i luv our cuisine. Im not sure if the lady behind the counter is the owner or just the person that takes your order. But shes very rude, was belittling her employees in Yoruba in front of the customers I guess assuming ppl dont understand what shes saying. You take her away or improve customer service, id def b back.

Not sure why we Africans tend to have the worst customer service! These ppl always have the worst customer service on earth. Its as if they dont need money to run the business!!!!... I always end up wasting my gas to come here... sometimes Im never acknowledged (which ends up in me walking out), a worker is rude, or they simply never have what I want (simple things like fish roll and meat pie). I will never come here again.

A little pricey for lunch in comparison to the next door Indian buffet. The flavor is great but the meat is over cooked (too high temperature) and the plantains are like dried pieces of wood (would be better steamed). The rice is pretty great though

Wonderful food, wonderful environment. You can seat and enjoy a nice plate of iyan with okra soup, while watching either soccer game or football or basketball. Highly recommended with the Nigerian touch!

Pastry is ok. But Jollof rice tasted like it was cooked the day before. Food is not freshly made.
