Good afternoon people, My name is Babtunde, and Iwould like to inform you people about my experience at Naija Cafe. When I stepped in the building I slipped on grease because all the lights were out (NEPA). When I reached the cashier to order my food, I ordered Jollof rice. Of course I waited for an hour for my food to arrive. When my food came my plate was filled with grease, and I thought to myself I did not order pepper soup. So I called for the manger and asked him what is the meaning of this, and guess what he told me. He told me this is how we prepare our jollof. So I told him you know this is the address to a Ghanaian Cafe, there they will provide you with proper jollof rice. So people the moral of the story is dont order Nigerian jollof at a Naija Cafe. P.S. They perform witchcraft!

I am a regular at this resturant because of the great food and service. Everything from their jollof, asun, egusi, assorted meats,iyan, gizodo, moi moi is absolutely delicious. The owner is very friendly and the ladies that work their are very courteous. I am glad southern maryland now has a great west african restuarant cant wait for your bar to open up. Keep up the good work. Ohh and the prices are great compared to other african restaurants.

First time going, and I ordered the Pepper Soup as a starter. It as phenomenal. The texture, aroma and spices all reminded of me authentic Nigerian food. For the main course I ordered Jollof Rice with chicken and plantains. Once again Im very satisfied with my meal. Ill definitely frequent this location in the future!

Finally an African spot close to home! Weve been traveling so far and even begging friends just for a bit of jallof. We had the corner platter with jallof and plantain. Also the peppered goat with spinach and yam porridge. And a sampling of yam giz dodo. Everything was SO good! We will be back for more.

My first time there and the pepper fish and jollof was delicious. Service was really friendly and attentive. There isnt a lot of variety outside of pizza and fast food places in the neighborhood so this is an awesome find. I will definitely be back.
