GREAT MUFFINS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! First and foremost, I would just like to state that I am a firm believer in supporting small local businesses within the community. Nothing is more inspiring to me than the entrepreneur who has utilized his/her talent and turned it into a thriving business. Maybe I went there at the wrong day. Maybe I caught the lady at a bad time, but I have never experienced such rudeness in my life before. The lady I am talking about wears glasses and has short hair. MEAN! MEAN! MEAN! I get to the front and I greet this lady. From the jump, she was giving me attitude as if I had murdered her newborn baby, rolling her eyes as if I was just another nuisance looking for trouble. Ok, fine. I ask for 5 Strawberry Strudel Muffins. I pay with my credit card and we both proceed over to the muffin area so that I can specifically pick which muffins I wanted from the tray. Now, I admit that I made a simple mistake by not verbalizing the muffins I wanted. I pointed with my fingers. Immediately she responds with "I dont know what all of that is," referring to my finger pointing. Mind you her tone was so rude and she even made sure that I knew how much she HATED me by the disgusting look she gave to me. Immediately I was taken aback. The way this woman treated me from the jump was as if I was the scum of the Earth, a homeless crackhead wandering into the establishment. I could not believe it. I took my muffins and I left determined to write a review on this specific woman. Perhaps there are other people who work at this establishment who exude excellent customer service skills, but I have seen this woman before and she wasnt so nice then. However, the way she treated me today was so disappointing and shocking to me that I felt it was my duty to write this review. For the sake of this establishment, I would suggest that the owner, Mr. Roderick OSavio (and I hope he sees this review), replace this mean woman with someone who at least knows the basics of customer service. I dont want to see this establishment lose business over one employee who is literally ALWAYS angry. FIX IT now before it gets worse later.

Not sure what happen here but the service and food is terrible. Dont get me wrong the quality is ok but how much they give you for the prices they charge is ridiculous. I actually just left here and got the oxtail and bob Marley chicken. My hubby got the escovitch fish and a strawberry muffin. $56 and some change was our total. I get home I have a tray full of white rice a handful (not even a handful)of bob Marley chicken and two oxtails. $18.50 was my meal total oh and barely any cabbage. You would think they would give you more vegetables than starch. I am highly disappointed with this visit and my previous one. Today I was craving and thought maybe they were having a bad day the last time I visited. NOPE!!! It was even worse. I have frequent this spot since I was a teen and it has gone downhill the atmosphere is better the food and customer service is not. I will never waste my gas or money on this mess EVER again. I will stick to family Caribbean food....Only If I can talk my cousin into making her escovitch fish with bigger Snapper...She will see me every week instead of twice a month. TASTE BUDS IN CAPITOL HEIGHTS!!! Yum

I JUST CALLED TO PLACE A ORDER AND WAS TOLD WE ONLY TAKE CATERING ORDERS OVER THE PHONE, I REPLIED BY SAYING THIS IS A CATERING ORDER AND WAS TOLD I HAVE TO TAKE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER AND CALL YOU BACK. I ASKED IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE FOOD TODAY;THEN I WAS ASKED WHAT IS THIS FOR ? I TOLD HER WHAT IT WAS FOR SHE REPLIED I WILL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK AGAIN BECAUSE SHE HAD A LINE, THEN ASKED ME AGAIN WHAT WAS IT FOR TO SEE IF I COULD GET IT TODAY, SHE REPLIED I WILL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK AND I DONT KNOW WHEN ILL CALL YOU BACK THIS IS SOME BULLSH*T. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS.

Excellent Caribbean spot. A little off the main road, but accessible. Food was great. I have two visits under my belt. First visit: It was early lunchtime for me, so I was in and out quick. I tried one of the chicken combos (Jerk and Ziggy wing). The Ziggy wings were HOT! I will feel it again. HA! Worth going again. Second visit: I had the Curry Chicken Roti. Some of my colleagues went, as well, and we shared foods. Total: It was Curry Goat and the Bob Marley and Ziggy Wings Combo. This place does not disappoint. I tried a cupcake today. Extremely moist and tasty. A keeper on my list...

I have been eating here on and off since I was 18, im 25 now and I love the food. I am a huge fan of the Ziggy wings but recently the women who operates the place now has such an repulsive attitude that it makes me not want to eat here any more. Shes rude, she doesnt explain what may be a problem if there is any or she gets irritated with the customer when she doesnt have something in stock. Its very disturbing! I hope she reads this and changes her attitude before she ruins her tasty business!

Her customer service skills are really poor I wil never come back here again and the food is nasty and I will never come back to this place every again not even a real Jamaican cafe, just jerk and Caribbean Café is better this place and the manger is a ass I will never come back here for anything ever in my life and why she close early at 5 now its not good, she needs to close the shop and go do something with ur life the food industry is not where its out for her

Owner is rude. Closes at 5pm . Food is good but that will never make up for rude service. Cant call in orders and line is always long with one hateful person working. The question is... do you want to spend your good money on good food with poor and usually rude service.... its up to you. Sometimes those Bob Marley wings just be calling my name . FYI they is usually lock the door by 4:45 p.m. dont waste your time if you cant get there before then.

I use to LOVE this place but not anymore! The lady (with the glasses) at the register is beyond rude, nasty and mean! Her attitude alone makes you walk right out and take your business elsewhere! The food has gone downhill, the portions are smaller and the prices are ridiculous compared to other Jamaican places in the area.... They need the old management back so that they can get their loyal customers back smh

I am new to the area and tried this place for the first time today and I must say I was highly disappointed. It was pricer than expected, and the food was not up to par. I had the oxtail ($18.__) and it was the worst Ive ever had(and Im a Jamaican). The meat was damn near white, and pieces way too big. For these prices Im expecting top notch and that was far from it. I pretty much threw the whole thing away
