SOUL FOOD DECOR: The decor was okay, as an interior designer, I see great opportunity in the utilization of the space.....Decor Review: 1 FOOD: The food was decent, it wasnt great, I got chitterlings, candied yams, string beans and potato salad. The chitterlings werent good at all to me, they were a bit too vinegary....the candied yams were decent, the helped to fight back the chitterlings taste, the green beans also helped with the chitterlings taste. The best part was the potato salad and the dinner roll that came with the meal. Food Review: is really a 1.5, but since theres no half scale here Ill bump it up to a 2 SERVICE: The young man that was serving my food was fabulous, he was pleasant, he greeted me with a smile and was very polite, hes an asset to the company. The young lady that took my money, was less than fabulous, she wasnt pleasant, she was honestly just not engaged, and she never even said THANK YOU. It could be that she was pregnant and tired, but I was pleasant so she shouldve met me in the same place. Service Review: 1

I enjoy Keith & Sons, but i find myself going less and less frequently due to the fact that they never have what you actually want... Went to the MLK location for a chitterling dinner and the guy told me that they didnt have any, mind you its only 2:30 pm... I said something about going to the other location and he said theyre closed on Mondays...Asked if any were going to be made today and he said he didnt know....Never offered to check to see if any were going to be made or anything, just oh welled me.... So I left, Im not buying something I dont want just because Im there.... Ironically this happens to me atleast 70% of the time when I do stop there... Im about to go back to levis, and I havent been there in over 15 yrs... There breakfast is awesome though

NOT FOOD FOR THE SOUL AT ALL!!!!!! Me and 2 other family members went today for the first time. I had heard lots of good things bout this place so it was my suggestion. I ordered Turkey wings rice and gravy and greens . She got meatloaf mashed potatoes and greens. He got fried chicken. And we got a side of chitterlings to share. The food was awful!!! The meats were dry and unseasoned! !!!! The cornbread was fine and the mashed potatoes we're okay. It seems they only used paprika as season cause everything is red on top. I'm very dissatisfied in the meal period. Wont return. And we would love to get a refund

Alrighty nice young lady at register with patience for ignorant people.....I gave this place a 2 just because I know the breakfast is good but you cant go wrong with easy stuff unless you use almond milk in french toast or batter......yuck.......Then on second visit I asked could I have it with regular milk he say thats how they make it(hes owner kin) I say ok just got tea.......Then third visit I come in at 5:30 they close 9pm having taste for either ribs, chicken, or NC BBQ none was there sold out I guess

The serving sizes were huge, the cashier was professional and even charming, the place was kind of run down, and all of that was fine but the guy taking orders and serving acting kind of distant and dont-want-to-be-any-more-helpful-than-minimally-necessary and dude-please-just-leave-here was offensive... I detected a strong waft of racism. The food was decent enough, but moving forward Ill be paying less and getting more at Carolina Kitchen unless I hear some truly inspiring feedback about K&S.

Just came in for breakfast fir the first time. I was on my way to McDo but it was closed down?! :-/ Anyway, I was happy to see that Kens was open for breakfast. I had a beef sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. The gentleman cooking was pleasant, the woman taking the money, not so much lol. Overall, happy my first breakfast choice was closed down. I will definitely be back for breakfast.

The food is soul food and very tasty. The salmon cakes are very good. They give you a lot of eggs ( I love eggs). This is not a place you have to wonder if theyll give you enough food. Their portions are very generous. The breakfast potatoes are kind of sweet but good. Overall good soul food place. If grease is an issue for your system be prepared but it never stops me from going back.

Service isnt good at all without Keith present in the store. Employees do not care about the customers. Only soul food spot in existence that consistently runs out of greens and green beans. Food tastes generic, and was way better when they were located on the corner of MLK and Addison rd. Back when they themselves were hungry. But Keiths employees are killing the business, for real.

Ive tried food from the breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. Im a real fan of the breakfast. I didnt care too much for the dinner. They give you large portions for your money and there are tons of different choices. The only downside is the line during breakfast is too long on the weekends.

Today was my first time. I got the fried chicken, fried fish with Mac & cheese, baked beans and Baked chicken with rice&gravy, cabbage. Everything tasted delicious. Fried chicken and fish was seasoned really well. I thought I was eating mine for a min there LOL...I will be back again!

Great food selection, vegetables and greens seasoned well even if youre diet restricted you can enjoy the food. Chicken, pork chops, fish, vast variety of vegetables. Corn bread that melts in your mouth, or whatever bread you like. Prices are reasonable and the place stays spotless.

The food has list its quality taste since expanding Simone quit or something becaus the love is gone from vegetables. I was embarrassment when ibragedto a friend about their food and We got one dried up pork chop each. I asked for another. Same thing missed opportunity

The food is great! Especially the breakfast.... If they would open on time for once theyd get a better rating from me. I try to support black businesses but Ive taken my business elsewhere a few times because they never open on time smh

This place is great BUT there is no sense of urgency to get the people in and out to keep that line down. Maybe more help or a second register would be helpful! I have walked out of this line a few times because of the slow pace.

Turkey wing and bake chicken was good fried chicken needed season greens and cabbage was great. Sweet potatoes was canned but was good enough to eat a second time. Wish they did not run out of cornbread. This was my first time.

This place gives you a lot of food, the food is good but I saw a server put food back and then give it to someone else. I personally felt strange about that and didnt order it. Of course it was my favorite. Mac&cheese

OMG, I love this place. It is within walking distance from my house so I always come here when I dont feel like cooking. The portions are heavy and plain ol good southern cookedfood. It is definitely worth the money.
