Came here with a group or 3 people. The staff was helpful in helping us decide what we wanted to eat. We ended up ordering the whole chicken, jalapeno mac and cheese, and purbird fries. I would have to say that the food was just okay at best. The whole chicken wasnt technically a whole chicken. It didnt come with the wings. I expected a bigger chicken and more meat but the meat was quite scarce for the price you pay for a whole chicken. Definitely not worth the price point to meat ratio. However, the chicken was moist and the skin a little crisp but the meat couldnt stand on its own flavor wise. The sauces we got were the mango chutney, lemon & parsley, and purbird sauce. Out of the 3, the best were the pubird sauce and lemon & parsley. Both were flavorful and excellent as sauces. The fries were standard. Nothing fancy about them. You have to buy their sauces otherwise it doesnt taste that good. The jalapeno mac and cheese was spicy and thats about it. The cheese was just okay, no special cheeses used and not much of a crisp on the top layer. Kind of soggy. Kind of tasted like Krafts mac & cheese but spicy. The good thing is that they have root beer! I would not come here again nor could I recommend this place.

Really tasty chicken at a cozy little spot. We came here to grab a late lunch after a show at Barclays. We ordered a chicken breast sandwich, chicken pie, and jalapeno mac n cheese. Service was super friendly and very patient, as we took a little time to decide what we wanted. The chicken sandwich was simple, with chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, mayo, turkey bacon, but very satisfying. I really liked the flakiness of the chicken pie and the amount of creamy chicken filling was just right. The mac n cheese had great texture on the noodles and a nice spicy kick. The cheese was slightly less impressive, as the top of the noodles are covered in a nice thick melted cheese topping but not much cheese underneath. Still, we enjoyed everything and ate every crumb. Special thanks to the woman at the counter who also gave me a mango dipping sauce to go with the pie. Really hit the spot!

Their chicken is to die for! Me and my friends ordered the whole chicken. The chicken comes with pita bread and I wish they came us more of the bread! Was super delicious! The Mango Chutney Sauce and the Creamed Spinach Sauce is great and can be used for the chicken and the fries. The chicken is already flavorful, so it is not needed! But definitely try it with the fries! We also ordered the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were somewhat soggy and I wished they were crispier! The mac and cheese was so-so. However, the people there seem to be super friendly and nice! I like how you can self-serve yourself somewhat. The place is somewhat small, but simplistic and has a nice feeling! YOU MUST GET THE CHICKEN!

Now that I managed to figure out the hours, this place has become one of my favorite take out or delivery places. The owner, I believe, is a woman that occasionally works the register and she is friendly. The mac and cheese, half a chicken, jalapeno mashed potatoes are among my favorite. If youre thinking mashed, please go all the way and get the jalapeno version because youll be happy about your decision. My one wish: a taste tester of all the sauces for the chicken. I love the chutney and yogurt sauce but I want to experiment without the hefty dollar fee.

Their menu says "Home to Brooklyns Best Flame Grilled Chicken." Actually, I believe it. The chicken is tender, moist, great char on the outside. The whole chicken is served partially deboned (breast and thigh bones removed while drumstick and wing drumette remain), and looks like it is cooked "under a brick"-style. Makes for a juicy bird with crispy skin. Chicken soup is perfect for cold winter days. Love the sides and the sauces. Modest eatery inside to grab a quick bite, but I mostly use it for take out. I have always had friendly service.

This place was very, very good. Had a chicken breast sandwich and it was excellent. Went late on a Saturday night and it wasnt too crowded, but it is a small location, so its not somewhere I would want to be during rush hour. During off peak times, it was a nice place to sit and talk though. Definitely want to go back :)

Greeted with a smile always by the gentleman at the counter. This neighborhood gem has incredible whole chicken flattened and served with choice of dipping sauce (Mango is my favorite) The hand pie is an inventive solution that we try to recreate at home but never quiet nail. Dont forget the pomegranate tea.

The chicken was incredibly good! Succulent and juicy yet charred to perfection. I love that the chicken is boneless too! Its impressive and rare to see boneless flame-grilled chicken that is still so juicy! This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me!

Had high expectations for this place in terms of food and value, but I was disappointed by my meals flavor and quality. Theres no service either, considering my bill came to $20, I can think of several other places that do better.

Fantastic fantastic chicken. Half chicken satisfies two people with small to regular stomachs. Purbird sauce and mango chutney were both amazing. Licked the plate clean.... Will be my go to spot for tasty grilled chicken.

Pretty good chicken place. I had a chicken sandwich, which I ordered at the counter and they brought out to me at my table outside. Food was very good and service was plenty nice. I would definitely go back.

I just order a chicken salad wrap, it was not good and I was very surprised. I have ordered there before and it was always good. Today I received yesterdays lettuce sopping in dressing. Not good at all.

Excellent! Here for AllStar. Ate there 3 times and had delivery once. Really enjoyed the salads. Friends had the sandwiches/wraps with sides and they thought everything was great. I highly recommend.

Good chicken and hearty sides. If you take out, every dish needs about 10-15 minutes. 2 beers on tap. I would rate it higher, but the menu is pretty basic and limited, and its not great for dining in.

Vile & Greasy Food...What a waste! This was the first time trying this place. I had to soak and boil the broccoli so that I can try to eat it, but unfortunately I had to throw it out with the fries.
