I was trying to use my $2 coupon (from the old receipt) at noon time today (5/4/2014) prior to payment and the cashier in red shirt (short guy maybe in his 40s) got mad since I didnt have the code. My bad, I didnt know I have to call first as I didnt read the fine prints. But he was a kind of raising his voice, very inappropriate and upset, that I got very embarassed from other customers. I felt very uncomfortable and asked him why hes pissed off that I didnt know as a customer. So after paying I went to the next table to get my chips and waited for my order. Another employee from the back kitchen asked him what happened. On the far corner he was talking loud in spanish, laughing hard while staring at me. Obviously it was about me as I understood what he was saying. The other guy didnt comment and went back to the kitchen. What a really bad customer service! This cashier I think is the manager being the only one in red shirt. Very inappropriate! Management should do something about this but what will happen if hes the manager? Hes untouchable? On another note, three weekends ago was our ever first time to go to Baja Fresh. We were there as a family from church and used the coupons that they sent home. This same guy was trying to rush us and got annoyed at us that I have to tell him it was our very first time in Baja Fresh to please bear with us. Whats worst is that he got much ruder to my wife (while in front of me and my daughter) when he found out we were using the coupon. Baja Fresh dont have the right to treat people like this. No matter what or who we are, we all should be treated with respect.

Ive been to this Baja Fresh joint several times. I was never disappointed by the food or the service. My order was usually ready within 5 to 8 mins. The salsa bar was great as usual. I always get Baja bowl and my husband a Baja burrito. My son always gets quesadia. The staff was pleasant. I used Groupon all the time and was always greeted with professionalism. I love the free ships that come with each order. I think among all burrito joints, I love Baja Fresh the most. Chipotle is way too busy. The line was long every time I went. I never like California burritos. Their burrito bowls just didnt taste that good for me. Since this is right by the main mall in Frederick and its rather convenient for me. I love this place!

The food was pretty good, however my gripe was with the service. It was ridiculously slow. It took 30 minutes between when we placed our order and when our numbers were called. I didnt order anything fancy, just the baja burrito, as listed, with no special requests. This isnt a sit-down restaurant, this is a place your order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Chipotle, california tortilla, Qdoba, anyplace like that would take MAXIMUM 5 minutes even if it was super busy. If you are thinking about going here on your lunch break, dont. You wont make it back to work on time.

It has been awhile since I stepped foot into a Baja Fresh shop. I was in between meetings, missed lunched...and decided to grab a burrito on my way back to the office. Im glad I did. The price was decent for a meal (I paid around $7-8) and I was very satisfied upon finishing my steak burrito. It was very tasty and well seasoned. I would not say it is real authentic mexican food --- but close enough. Definitely better than California Tortilla! 4 stars because they do not really give you much meat. Instead they fill up the burrito with lots of tomatoes to make it look bigger than it really is!

I really like Baja Fresh and look for them when I travel. Much more authentic than the other fast food Mexican Restaurants. The taco are what I go for. They have a nice variety of topping from mild to hot. They have a nice variety of menu items and all are good. Great place.

This is the way i like mexican food like the southwest. The baja burrito is steak pico de gallo and guacamole... perfect. Despite being a chain they dont taste like a chain since they prepare yoir food fresh with a fresh salsa bar as well so they get 5 star rating.

Had the chicken soft taco meal. Tasty, seemingly fresh. Id consider this more of a new age Mexican food, instead of authentic, but still good. The place is spacious, but a bit noisy. The staff wasnt rude, bit not overtly friendly. I will come back again.

This location has become a routine stop for a quick and relatively healthy meal. The chili lime shrimp salad is a favorite, as are the fish tacos. Fresh salsas are always a treat. This location is always clean and well maintained. Recommended.

Cashiers didnt speak English well, sent out daughters burrito with pinto beans rather than the black beans ordered, dont offer hard shells for tacos...not much to like, other than the food that we did get that was correct tasted pretty fresh

Helpful staff, quick service, and tasty food. I had the seafood tacos and enjoyed them. Good kids items and lots of choices. The salsas are acceptable but could be less watery and more flavorful. Still fine. I will definitely return.
