I went here with my wife on a gift card given to her by her students. So the fact that 90 percent of our dinner was paid for does skew this experience. The food was delicious and hot. There was plenty of staff for the location and there seemed to be an overabundance of managers walking around asking people if they were having a good time. We were asked twice by two different people. (As an aside, this is not how dining is done in Italy, in fact youll be lucky to get your servers attention at all during your meal.) The place looking freshly renovated or at least very clean. The decor was not chintzy, which is typical of these establishments, but instead was understated and tasteful. I mean the place was across from a strip mall, so they werent working with a lot here. The food was delicious and hot. The only complaint was that the entrees we got were both way too large for us. So it was a little galling the prices are so high for food that youre going to eat standing in front of the fridge at 11pm that night.

We got there around 9:30 but they close at 11 so we figured it would be fine. We waited a few minutes to get seated which was fine. We got to our table and didnt have a server for a few minutes. Everything just took a while, except for our food order. We placed our appetizer order and food order at the same time. Our main dishes came before appetizer, bread or salad. It was super annoying. It was even more annoying that our waitress kept trying to tell us it wasnt her fault. She wouldve seen the issue had she been the one to bring out our food. It was just not a great experience all together. The only reason we went there was because we had a gift card. I dont think I would come back again.

Had a screaming kid at the next table at dinner service (6pm) Every room we went through was loud though. The spinach artichoke dip had a strong fishy flavor to it. The stuffed mushrooms had raw mushrooms (hard and cold). Entrees were ok - but they left the mushrooms off a requested pepperoni and mushroom pizza (in retrospect - a blessing). Food arrived hot, meager sauces all around. Service was fast at least. Two stars. One for the server who was attentive and on top of things. One for the manager who stopped by and comped the two appetizers and was nice. Wont say Im never going back - but not anytime soon.

I love this place but Olive Garden varies from location to location. I am rating this location but taking one star off for restroom cleanliness. Restaurant is fine but restroom needs a remodel. Great location in large shopping center and food is excellent. Server kept forgetting stuff but other than that we still had a great experience. They are also very good at customizing your orders so dont be afraid to ask for adjustments to your dish. If you are visiting from another country, Olive Garden is very American franchise even though it is an Italian restaurant. Great go to for family dinners and visitors!

My husband and I enjoy eating at this particular Olive Garden, but it is either hit or miss lately. Eating in the actual restaurant, the service is always excellent , but, the last time we did take out , once home, we realized the meal was just terrible. The breadsticks were cold, the portion was extremely small for a chicken parmesan meal , the salads were only half sizes and there was no grated cheese and enclosed. Even the tiramisu we ordered for dessert, was dry. Telephoned the restaurant manager and they were happy to reimburse our money.

I dont normally write reviews for restaurants unless service is either terrible or exceptional. This review is for the latter. Patrick G at Olive Garden went above and beyond for our dinner tonight. He was incredibly patient with us when we were indecisive on what we wanted to order. He helped me figure out the gluten free options on the menu. And he made sure that our salad and breadsticks were always refilled when we wanted it. He is easily the best server weve had in years. If you go to Olive Garden, you need to request him as your server!

We went to the Olive Garden on last weekend. We frequent Olive Gardens quite often. Our experience at the OG in Fairfax was bad. The food was awful, the portions were small (for an OG). Our "waitress" was argumentative, rude and hurried us out the door. I went to the Olive Garden in Manassas a few weeks ago and will drive further for better food and service. I will not go back to the OG in Fairfax.

DH called for call ahead seating and was denied. I went to their web page to try to "join wait" but it wasnt working, so I called and was denied. Asked to speak to the manager who "supposedly" put us on call ahead for 6pm. Arrived early...we were finally seated at 6:40 pm. Joke was on us I guess. *Portions are much better at the Sterling location...where they actually have call ahead seating.

Nice italian style restaurant. Delicious food and very good service. Also, se habla español. El lugar es muy bonito y la atención muy buena. Lo recomiendo

Unlike most other Olive Gardens, this location does not have a basketball court. Because of this, I cannot imagine how they stay in business. Even without the basketball court to get a nice post meal sweat on, they have no other activities to help put the subsequent greasy bowels in motion. I guess volleyball would suffice too.

Terrible to go service. Cold items packed with hot items, bread was not fresh. After several minutes on hold I finally talked to a manager who wouldnt give me his name and was told a refund would take up to a week, well its been over 2 weeks and still no refund...I guess they do treat you like family who owes you money.

We did use a gift card so that was the deciding factor in choosing where to eat. The soup was delicious we had the Toscana soup. My herb salmon was cooked perfectly and the boys enjoyed lasagna and pasta. My wife liked the pasta she ordered. The black tie mousse cake and mini chocolate mousse was well received.

Eggplant parmigiana and chicken marsala are great. Best Italian restaurant hands down. Best garden salad ever. The complementary bread that they serve is awesome too. Just wish they would cut down on the serving size and the cost accordingly. Two people can sometimes struggle to finish even one of their entrees.

We have been going to this Olive Garden about once a month for years. The food and service is usually good. The past couple of times we went the service was terrible. The orders were either wrong, took a long time, or both. We will probably give the place one more chance to see if they get a third strike.

Birthday... We came to celebrate a family member birthday and we found that they do not sing the itallian birthday song. The service was great, the food delicious, our server Carla was amazing. It would be great if they open a seccion for birthday celebrations... it will be nice to hear it again.

I ordered the Parmesan risotto and they tried to serve me white rice. When I asked the waitress about it she assured me it was risotto, then the manager came out and assured me the same thing. Very disappointed the staff would not admit to their mistake and simply apologize and correct it.
