BRUTAL! Went here for NYE, and wow... The server was the only good thing the restaurant had going for it. He did a great job and really took good care of us. This is one of the most expensive meals Ive ever had, and Im sorry to report that most of the meal was not edible. I had Cedar plank salmon on a bed of rice. To give credit where credit is due, the salmon itself was amazing. Things had unfortunately already fallen apart though when the Calamari came to the table and I was unable to choke it down. It was rubbery and completely devoid of flavor. The second kick to the gut was the rice. I dug in and when I bit down, it felt like I bit into a piece of glass. Upon further investigation it appeared to just be a piece of hard plastic. I was okay with the slip up given the volume of food and business they were doing that evening. However, the 2nd and third bite also had hard mystery material and I had to eventually place a higher value on my dental safety than my empty stomach. Onto the "champaign" toast... Yikes... The 3 people that I was with were unable to swallow the swill. I get that it was "complimentary" but when your meal is $120, isnt it kind of the least they could do? Given the price we were paying I decided to plug my nose and force it down... It was a photo finish but I did manage to keep it down. If you want to try this restaurant go to the Dearborn location. Its the original and they are capable of delivering on their pricey menu options.

Thursday Wine Dinners (Tastings) are Out of This World! I’m a frequent business traveler to the Dearborn/Detroit area, and this was my second visit to an Andiamo Riverfront summertime weekly wine event, their “Passport to Wine” series. Both evenings have been fabulous! Besides a sampling of great wines from one country or another (Chile and Australia on my two trips), the wines are paired with small-plate courses that are absolutely amazing every time. From my experiences at this and Andiamo Dearborn wine tastings, I think that the chefs have an opportunity to get creative and show what they’ve got at these things. The food always seems to taste better at a wine tasting than when eating off the menu, but it may also be the great family-style, wine-drinking, atmosphere or the magic of the wine parings … not sure, but they are always fabulous events. The sommelier and staff have always been spot-on. Excellent service paired with very interesting stories and information about the various wines of the tasting. After a tasting or two in Dearborn, I have become a regular customer there, and now plan to do the same at Andiamo Riverfront.

I went here for a company Christmas party. The food was okay and the wait staff was pleasant enough. The problem I had was that we were told we could use valet parking for $10. (my company covered the cost) After the party was over, the valet company rudely told us we had to pay $20 to get our car back and Andiamo didnt do anything to help. I wouldnt use that valet service FOR ANY REASON. I would rather park my car in the Detroit River. I had to put it on my credit card because I didnt know I needed extra cash. A month later I was told I could get reimbursed, but I would have to FAX a picture of my credit card to an unknown person! Why would I give my credit card info to someone I dont know or cant contact? I might as well ask someone to steal from me. If they had just been up front about it, I could have parked elsewhere and saved my money. I wont be back here or any of the other locations. The $10 is forgivable, but the way we were treated is not. If Andiamo wanted to retain my business, they could have covered the $10 and been reimbursed themselves.

I didnt go here for a normal dinner but I had my wedding reception here on Sept. 20th 2015. It was incredible! There staff was so fun and kind. They were professional when it was time to be professional and were so helpful in making sure all our stuff (cake, gifts, flowers, ect.) got loaded into our familys cars. The dinner was great for the price. Served, not buffet style! The bride and I felt like royalty! The price was very affordable, we had appetizers, and desert too. The bar tenders were awesome and had a good selection of drinks and made them strong. We parties pretty hard too with a super loud DJ and all the wedding gifts were horns and bells. Things were loud and crazy and so much fun. Id give em 5 stars just for being good sports about the whole thing. All my guests said they had fun too. They even thanked us for having our event with them and sent us a gift card! Totally going back there as soon as I can! Great staff, great atmosphere, great food, great drinks and a great experience! This place is awesome for making a special day very fun and memorable!

Maybe Im spoiled because Im from NY, but they sat us in the lobby of the building which I thought was very tacky. I went inside to use the bathroom and there was plenty of empty tables. This is around 8 pm. I asked to sit inside which I thought looked nice and the lady rudely said no with no explanation. They sat us on a high chair and table in the lobby as if I was at some bar. Their "limited menu" for v day was disgusting. Chicken this chicken that. The bread wasnt warm at all and the olive oil they brought out was the most bitter and horrible Ive ever had. The after taste was even worse. Def wasnt worth the price. Gratuity was included for the 2 of us. Lol maybe it was to save time. But it was less than what I wanted to leave. The "Waterfront" view experience wasnt bad. I got to see everyone pull up with their cars and watch us as if we were on display. Nothing romantic about this place at all. Never will I be back or recommend this place again. Btw it was valentines day.

Negative stars for the the service. I think it took 20 minute to get our drinks, water was never refilled, steak knives were not given to the guests who ordered steak, I was over charged for my bottle of wine and it was just a horrible 2.5 hr experience. Had we not been with great company it would have been worse. Ps. When you ignore one table do not tell them it is because the people at the table next to them are friends with the manager/owner. We saw our server the most when it was time to pay. I guess when you can offer subpar service and then automatically add gratuity you have quite the gig. Three stars for the food- the guys who ordered steak were not impressed and they were not cooked to proper temperature. I personally did not like my dish. As for the rest of the group the consensus was that it was not great. We will never go back. There are far better restaurants in the area.

Horrible experience. We went here for my moms birthday, hoping for a special meal. To start with, the side salads that came before the meal were wilted and didnt seem fresh, but we decided to let it go and wait for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, all the food tasted stale - the whitefish ($27) seemed like it had been previously made and re-heated. Even the side of vegetables, which should have been simple to make, tasted awful. I had to send back my pasta - it tasted so bad that I couldnt eat it. Ive never been to a restaurant where even something as simple as pasta was inedible. They offered to take it back, and offered to make something else, but I didnt want to wait 30 minutes for another barely-edible meal. Literally one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. The server/manager were nice enough, but seemed thoroughly unconcerned.
