This popeyes is horrible....Everytime I go there I have a bad experience. I stopped going for a couple of years and decided to try them out once again. They failed me again. They have young people working that obviously dont care or take any pride in what they do. (even if it is a fast food job). They have attitudues and give u old food. Dont dare ask for anything to be cooked fresh for you, they always say it just came up with even bigger attitude. The managers arent any better than the workers. They dont seem to care either. So I wanted to inform someone higher up what was going on at that particular store, the manager on site gave me the district manager phone number (of course with an attitude). So I called someone named Mark who suppose to be the district manager. He was just as bad as the workers and store manager. I went on to explain to him what a terrible experience I encountered on my visit and he replied "what do you want me to do". My jaw dropped. I couldnt believe I was speaking to a district manager that condone this behavior. Im COMPLETELY DONE with that popeyes. I guess I have to drive all the way to Schereville or Griffith when I want popeyes even tho the one in Merrillville is right by my house.

I spent $70 here for a family dinner, drove home to feed the family and found out they totally screwed the order up and shorted us 6pcs of breasts. I called the manager explained the problem, he of course apologized and offered replacement of the chicken breasts and I could come pick them up at another time. We sat down to eat the meal, "disappointed" falls far from what we experienced. Nothing tasted fresh, some of the chicken looked to be refried as it had too much coating, was hard and very dry and other pieces were so soggy greasy and cold, its like they sat there all day. None of the sides tasted fresh, biscuits were hard and dry and had no butter brushed on them and the shrimp were tiny and disgusting. Needless to say most of it was tossed in the garbage. I had to give it a 1 star to review it, but it was a zero, I wont return there for the replacement chicken or any future visits. Sadly we like Popeyes, but wont return.

I went thru the drive thru Saturday 7/23/2016. I ordered a sticky chicken family meal and a mile chicken strip family meal. The girl at the window says to me after I already pay its going to be a while is that ok? I said w3ll I already paid so I guess so. I asked how long of a wait. She said 5 mins. I was ok with that no problem. Well 30 mins later and no food. I go inside and ask about my order. The girl walks over and pulls my ticket out of the machine (they didnt even start it yet). The shift manager was ringing customers so I tell her I have been waiting since 8:15 for my order its 9:00. She walks to the girl and asks about my order. She comes back and ignores me completely and starts ringing up customers. She didnt say its being made now or sorry for the wait. To top off my experience I get home and the Cajon rice is spoiled. Are you kidding me. I will never go here again.

We were in there two nights ago: Lets just ay that the behavior of the staff was questionable they were having tiffs in front of customers, there were signs on counter that they were out of most popular items and when we went down the list were out were out sorry were out. If it were me, their be a overall staff change its ashamed prime spot for good sales near mall and you think they train the staff better and come on the sweat shirts were very unprofessional . Store should provide jackets with pop eyes on it. I was a crew leader for 5 years and you bet Id be writing them up and or impose a dress code if not providing jacket suggest each employee were same color with no designs or logos. No wonder their store isnt doing so well. we found the food not up to popeyes standards left with sick stomach. Its a shame to let store standards sink so low.

I loooove popeyes. This is by far the worst popeyes ever. The young man who was a cashier treated us horribly. Allll the sodas were flat but I didnt bother saying anything. I asked for BBQ sauce & he talked with his co-worker before moving & walked very slowly to go get it for me. I very noticeably rolled my eyes since I never get annoyed by things like this. Ive worked fast food. This is way too many screw ups. Plus it smelled like mop water. When we finally got our food, one of my strips were pink and chewy and gross & I couldnt eat it since it was slightly undercooked. Stuff like that doesnt get to me. But I really hated that cashier. He was a young black man who was nice & courteous to everyone else except to me. I dont have attitude. Im shy.

I had the worst experience at this location, the workers are/ were rude and unprofessional. The manager Katelin and Jack need training in customer service. Better yet I would fire them both. They are lazy and their tone and behavior would make you want to smack them both into 2025. They are so lazy that instead of them doing their job witch is frying chicken they would rather lie to the customer by telling you that they are out in chicken and any other item that you may want. I recommend you not patronize this location for your sake!

Worse popeyes I have ever been too. They always screw up my order. I would pay extra for white meat and everytime they screw me over and give me mixed. Today they made me wait for 30 minutes and then told me if I wanted all mild I would have to wait 20 morw minutes or take spicy. WTF!?! Can they at least warn me before I paid, I would have just left! Wish I had a better popeyes near me. If I could give them 0 stars, I would

On October 6 2016 the drive through was not working. When I went inside I was greeted with "the credit card reader is not working." So I ordered a 3 piece meal paid for it and they forgot to give me my drink so I had to ask for it. I get to work and guess what, theres only 2 pieces in the box! And I didnt get a receipt. So I am out of luck. Chicken was excellent though.

A very poor service, it took them an hour and 30 minutes to give me an order of 8 pieces of chicken, they do not know how to use the computer system which takes another 20 min to put the order without mentioning that all employees have attitude And they are rude to the customer, I am patient but I would not recommend this popeyes

At first they only gave me a few pieces of popcorn shrimp with my meal. After inquiring as to if that was 1/4 of a lb as advertised (,I didnt think 8 pieces added) they apologized and made a fresh whole batch for me. Food was great and nice service! Thanks guys!! Will be back!
