The ONLY reason this place gets a three is because it has a great product. The majority of people who work there are nice, but incompetent. It doesnt matter how many times I ask for my order to go, they still hand it to me individually & without lids. I am 1 person, alone, in a car... do you really think its convenient for me to get 4 separate cups of ice cream without lids? Do you SEE anyone else in the car? Then why are you handing me 4 open cups of ice cream with spoons in them when I have asked for them to be placed in a bag? Seriously. Use your head. I know youre only 15, which everyone who works there is still in high school, but use common sense if youre not going to adhere to my request. Now, there are probably 2 or 3, maybe 4, who I would say are very good employees and a couple that have major attitudes. However, if you can get passed the incompetence and the occasional wrong order, the product is actually very very good.

Used to love this place but the last couple of times Ive been with my children the cones are leaning almost falling over! Tonight topped it off yes there was a long line and ppl were waiting for their ice cream but the employees were too busy talking instead of insuring that everyones treats were done the way they should be and once again our cones were leaning and melted all over our laps seconds after leaving so needless to say $13 were thrown out the drain due to carelessness! And when mentioned such leaning cones to the employee at the window he was very rude wouldnt let me speak then told me to have a nice night and rolled his eyes. Worst experience Ive had here!

The service was great. The young man who waited on us was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked up.This was my time visiting this Twistee Treat and it will not be my last. When I first walked up I noticed how clean the parking lot and sitting area were. They also offer a drive thru and as well as no smoking in the patio area. There are two restrooms that were very clean and well kept. The prices are very reasonable. We paid roughly 8.00 for a med ice cream and sundae and it was a good portion for the price. The menu selection is not large but a good selection is there to fit any craving you may be having.

Ice cream was delish, but service needs to be worked on, first girl rolls her eyes at me because im taking to long to decide what i would like. And then was busy checking her phione right in front of me.. I understand these kids need jobs but seriously teach them some respect and manners if they are gonna work with public and asked for manager to complain and that made it worse because if he was maybe 19 and again laughing and carrying on with the little girls in the back. Seriously Twistee Treats maybe you should put a real grown up there to supervise the children. Wont be back!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered multiple times from here and was very disappointed this last visit. Jennifer who was taking drive through orders proceeded to yell profanity out the window after rudely instructing me on how to give her an order. With my children in the car I left and will not return. Last time I checked, an employee is not supposed to drop the F bomb when speaking with customers... especially on Easter Sunday.

The lady handing out the ice cream handed my sisters ice cream to another guest who in return handed it to my sister. We had no clue who that person was. She did however make my sister another one. The ice cream was not all that great either. I asked for the pumpkin ice cream with cheese cake bites and you couldnt even tell it had cheese cake bites in it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ive been to other locations and had a great experience but not at this one. Staff was rude and unprofessional. When dealing with the public one should not let their own small minded outlook of life cross over into their work. Its fine if thats the image Twisty Treat wants to project and I can and will go elsewhere. Just sad that we as a people havent moved past this line of thinking.

I usually go every other Saturday the the car meets and always see tons of people at twistee treats but have never gone over there,but tonight I tried the ice cream and it was amazing.each spoonful was delightful.its not like other places where the only put the toppings on just the top.it was from top to bottom.

I love twistee treat and used to eat it quite often but lately they have only been putting a very small amount of toppings into my twirls. Ive been very disappointed the last couple of times I have come to twistee treat. Particularly the woman with blue eyeshadow, she puts barely any toppings on the twirl.

The service is fast and easy! No smoking on the patio, and a drive through option... However the orders are somewhat inaccurate, and while the staff are willing to fix the order, it still worth taking off one star... Still it is the best soft serve place in Ocala

First time customer here. I was surprised by the amount of ice cream with the small cup, will get a kids size next time! The ice cream was enjoyable, and I look forward to trying some of the additives they offer next time. Service was quick and friendly.

Great place for some unique ice cream with the family. There is a drive thru or park and order/pick up to sit outside. My favorite is the amaretto ice cream with cheesecake bites. They also have a frequent visitor program under your phone number.

Me and the love of my life came here today, she ordered an Oreo swirl and I ordered a banana strawberry milkshake. I must say the banana strawberry milkshake was the best milkshake I ever had! I would definitely come back.

The customer service was awesome, the order was timely, correct, and tasty but the seating is not summer friendly. The seating is not set up in a way to maximize the customer experience which takes away from the experience.

The best soft serve ice cream anywhere. They make each to order. Too many flavors to mention. Do not waste time or money on the fancy sundaes just Go for your favorite flavor and enjoy.

The vanilla and chocolate are good. I tried the banana flavor today and a pistachio a few weeks ago and those were to artificial tasting and overly sweet. Both cones got thrown out.

Nice ice cream shop. Always very busy though on Saturday nights due to a car meet which does bring some obnoxious people but a peletora of beautiful car you can enjoy looking at.
