I had high hopes for this place and was really looking forward to my dinner. Sadly, I hardly ate any of it. I ordered the Falafel Platter with a side of fries. I got salad with tomatoes (Im allergic to them) instead. Ok not a deal breaker...when I tried the falafel, it was very dry and disappointing. The pita was just okay, flat a dry rather than light and fluffy like I got in Israel. The hummus was good though. I also ordered the Strawberry Walnut Salad but they called and said they didnt have that so I got the Mediterranean salad instead, it was ok. The baklava was very bland to me. Again, dry and crumbling. Not enough honey and too many nuts. Finally, and this one may be on me and my expectations but I got the yogurt drink and I was expecting something like Kefir that is tangy but sweet. This was like drinking runny sour cream! Again, maybe its just me and thats the way its supposed to taste? I dont know but it went down the drain. Overall I would say it was a waste of $42 and I wish I had known better in advance, I would have gone somewhere else.

Ive eaten here a few times and the food and service has always been great. As someone who follows a vegan diet I appreciate the wide variety of vegan options on the menu and that they are clearly labelled. Recently I put in an order of food to be delivered to a friends home. For reasons not worth going into here, the friend wasnt at home and the delivery person tried calling me but I wasnt near my phone. The delivery person waited about 30-40 minutes extra because of this. I called the restaurant a few days later because I wanted to leave some kind of an extra tip or compensation for this. The restaurant wouldnt accept anything from me but thanked me for the call. All I could think to do then was leave this review and say thanks.

Took an hour to get our food. We only ordered 2 sharwama wraps, 1 of the two was incorrectly made. The meat lacked moisture and spices that makes sharwarma mouth watering. I give this place 1 star becuase the lack of customer service provided by the manger. I spoke to the manager about our order and he said "look at how busy we are, we have customers to serve"... I guess we didnt order enough food to get served in a timely manner. Wont be going back and if you are going to order something small dont bother unless you want to wait for an incorrect order.

I had a chicken shawarma entree delivered to me. My friend ordered the chicken shawarma salad. Our orders looked exactly the same. I was, however, given a small cup of hummus with about two tablespoons of hummus in it. The salad portion was a disappointment. The salad had now olives or feta. It did however contain what seemed to be canned pickles. The chicken was also dry and over seasoned. It didnt taste nearly as good as any other Mediterranean restaurant I have eaten at.

These people have no idea what they are doing. Waited 50 minutes for our order until we called...some woman tells us the order just went out. Waited another 20 minutes only to call back again. Some man answers this time and tells us he now does not have our order. Wouldnt you have told us the first time we called? We asked if we now ordered, how long it would take. He tells us 35 minutes. We are 3 blocks away.

I just tried this the other night and it was, hands down, the best Middle Eastern cuisine Ive had in Baltimore! Not only is the food amazing and super reasonably priced (we did the sampler and mixed grill so that we could sample more of the menu), the waitstaff are very friendly and helpful. Dont leave without trying the baklava!! Also the best Ive had in Baltimore. I am so excited to eat here again :)

The food is good, but the service sucks. Had to ask the server multiple time for drinks and she forgot part of the order. The first appetizer was luke warm and the second did not come out until after we already finished the entrees. Which they still charged us for. Not once during the meal did they ask how the food was or refill the water. In the future just order carry out and save yourself the hassle.

Nice ambience compared to other small restaurants in the area. The half chicken and chicken kebabs were delicious as was the shwarma . However I dropped my rating down to 3 stars because the hummus was bland and too creamy and the pita was a little dry and stale. Also the lone waitress attending all the tables and the bar was a bit overworked and not as attentive as she could have been.

مطعم ممتاز ومناسب وخدمة عالية. لكن تنقصهم شغلة مرعاة الملح الزائد في الطعام بالنسبة إلى بعض المرضى العرب باعتبارهم موجودين لغرض العلاج.

What a great place to take a family, have some wonderful food, and enjoy the evening. We WILL be back. Once you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The wait-staff is honest and hospitable. Definitely split the mixed grill (FANTASTIC deal) and try the smoothies. We love that its BYOB too! You can have a great night on a budget here!

Went with co-workers for the first time yesterday for lunch and the service and food was exceptional. Great atmosphere. I would certainly recommend for a business lunch or a first date where you are looking for a clean spot to talk and have good food. Great price point for the amount of food you receive and considering the location.

A nice hole in the wall with a full bar. One server covering everything when I was there. Pretty much the "usual" eastern Mediterranean menu. Decent shawarma (beef, no lamb), but so-so hummus and drab-but-edible pita. Worth checking out if you are in the area and in the mood for this cuisine, but not a destination.

Authentic Middle-Eastern food. Items ordered: Falafel, stuffed grape leaves, hummus, beef shawarma, baklava, mint lemonade and Arabic coffee. Every item was delicious! My only regret was that the knaffa was not yet ready. Apparently they wanted to time it so it would be ready for Iftar. All around great experience.

Delish! Super quick service, BYOB & reasonably priced menu options! We shared the hummus, i had the lamb schwarma sandwich & hubs had the chicken schwarma platter. Well def be back! Tip - we heard them mention to another table that the liquor store around the corner offers a discount to restaurant patrons!

The plates were HUGE I loved how much food I got, it was this beef shawarma or something I got with fries and rice. The hummus was awesome, delicious as were the falafels. I believe I may have spelled that wrong but whatever, it was great and the employees were very friendly and attentive.

Delicious food. I love the falafel! The mixed grill is delicious...a great way to taste everything. Hummus is great! My Fiance is from Syria and he just grins from ear to ear while he eats everything on his plate. Very authentic, Reasonably priced and I always appreciate a BYOB!
