This review is from the son of the restaurant owners, so I would like to explain a few things. I totally understand where the negativity is coming from. There are times where the food isnt the freshest, but that is only during the dead hours of the day. Please understand that a buffet of our size cant afford to make dozens of batches of food for only a few customers because a majority of the food will go to waste. So as the customer, you have all the power to ask for any item on the buffet that is either old or running low. I can speak for the rest of the employees at the restaurant when I say that we are happy to make any item on the buffet that is running low. So my tip for you is to go during the busy hours, but if you find yourself in the dead hours of the day, ask the employees for any item you want. If that seems like too much of an hassle, there is always a menu to order from with a variety of options for a reasonable price. As for the waitresses, they are from a country of very loud talkers and direct people, but that most certainly does that excuse their behavior. We will try to fix these problems and give customers a better dining experience.

My overall experience was not pleasant. As I arrived I the restaurant the waitress asked what I wanted to drink in a tone that can be considered almost as screaming. This made me feel unwelcome. Once she brought I drinks she slammed them on the table. She also took our plates before given her consent. Making us feel as if she was trying to make us eat faster or trying to get rid of us fast. Food is some what ok, but for dinner is horrible since its all the leftovers from lunch hour. Chicken and rice by dinner time is over heated and they will not bring fresh food unless they get rid of all the old food. Overall I do not recommend paying some what high price for a unwelcoming waitress. And it is not worth paying 8.75 for over heated food and overall rude service.

my coworker and I are from out of town and were here working. We decided to stop in to eat dinner because I read other reviews and it seemed like it would be good. The food was standard for an American Chinese buffet. The waitresses and counter staff acted like they were disgusted when we walked in and were very rude. I for one will definitely not be going back next time were here. We went between 6 and 630. The only thing that was fresh was the tso chicken and it was burnt.

The carry-out is quite good, but I cant recommend the buffet as the food is often cold and not replaced/refilled as often as it should be. I havent had any rude experiences with the staff that others have reviewed, but they arent the most pleasant to deal with — Id consider it more of an indifference than a rudeness. They are generally happy to accommodate special requests, just dont expect any pleasantries in the process.

Not the best Chinese restaurant, but its great to have in our little town. Sure, you can go to Champaign and other places and get better quality food, but if you dont want to get out this is great. Buffet is good when you go during a peak time, otherwise you may get old food/limited selection. Lunch specials are pretty good for the price and amount you get.

The server there is very rude more than half the time. She doesnt refill your drink unless you ask and they kind of try to rush you out the door after youve had two plates from the buffet. But their food is good if you go around the times it will be fresh. There isnt a big selection but it still varies.

the lady at the front never says anything to you just takes your money when you leave. food is good, but if you dont go when its busy its hard telling how long its been out. 10 minutes into eating "all you can eat" waitress brings me my check. this place sure isnt what it used to be

Good food and good pricing, but because its a small town restaurant, you sometimes have to ask them to refill a certain item or get fresh if its dried out. They usually do with no question. Take out if always fresh and hot to order. Were usually in for twice a month or so.

The food is never fresh. Plus the last time we were there the waitress was cleaning the glass dividers right next to our table with Windex. Im pretty sure the Windex was getting on our food while we were eating. It was disturbing. I will never eat there again.

Disappointed. ....we have come here alot. Today, over half of the food trays were either empty or the food was dried out and stuck in the pans. We drive down from Rantoul, again, all I can say is, very disappointed.

Food was cold and greasy @ 5:30 p.m. on a Friday night. The crab Rangoon had no filling. The waitress never came by to refill your drinks. Dont think I would waste my money to go back there again.

This is my all-time favorite Chinese food place. Smallish selection, but sooo good. Also, make sure to go during "regular" meal hours to make sure you get the freshest stuff.
