Attrocious service. Went in and waited a short while at the front. Lady came and asked how many. I said one. She pointed to the left half and said you can sit at the counter or booth. Ok. There was only 1 two person booth and it was diirty. I sat down and waited 5 minutes for the waitress to clean it and hand me silverware and a dirty napkin from the table next to me. She handed me a menu and said, "here ya go" and walked away. I waited and watched her take a couple orders. She finally turned to me and, from the counter 30 feet away, asked, "know what you want?" I said yes, a Pepsi and a water. She said, "oh, so youre not eating?" I said yes, but Id like something to drink while I decide. You could tell shes been doing this for a while and is simply bad at her job. At this point, I considered walking out. Especially after I got my Pepsi and it tasted like a mix of 3 or more different types of soda. The Reuben was good but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love this place. The owner is very friendly and the food is great.. I usually get the breakfast "special" which is eggs any way, hash browns, meat and one pancake for $7.95. Its consistently excellent! Im very picky - eggs scrambled soft, crispy bacon and hash browns - some places get this wrong, but not the Parkway Diner. They also have a killer Reuben and Fries! Im a "diner guy", always searching for the best, and this one is tops in Stamford. btw, if youre in Darien, dont go to the "Darien Diner." See my other review on the mediocre food and rude owner!

Service sucked! The woman, "waitress" never checked back on us, never cleared our plates from the table. The coffee cup was dirty, the salt and pepper shakers were disgusting as well as the table and the floor underneath. She never gave us a check, even when I waited at the register just standing there for 10 minutes. The bread for the toast was really good and the food was ok. Place is a dump, food ok, service horrible.

Was there on Easter Sunday. Nobody there to seat us. Had to wait while the waitress was sitting with her friends. Finally sat ourselves. When the bill came it was double than what it was so I added it up for the waiter my bill was 19.00 not 39.00. When I went to pay nobody up front waited a good 15 minutes or longer. I have never been to a place that was so disorganized and I will never go there again.

My husband and I go here all of the time, the service is great, the people that work there is fantastic and they know who we are and what we order, Elder is one if the best waiters there, we have never had a bad experience there, also the owner Lushe and Manager Nils are awesome, THEY treat us like family.

Went on an uncrowded Monday night and was decent service, quick and polite. I ordered a Ruben (11.00) and was pleasantly surprised with its quality. The water tasted slightly like soda and soda vice versa. The place could use a refresh to bring it out of the 90s but its good for a quick, easy bite.

We loved it. Itbwas quick service. I had a turkey club. It was great. Kids had pancakes. They loved them. Waitress was auper friendly, asked us about our trip to NYC and all we did. She wished us a Happy New Year and safe travels...We couldnt have been happier!

I love this place. The food is great, the service is always above and beyond what youd expect at a diner, and if I just want a cup of coffee, theyll let me sit there with it for hours without making me feel like I need to buy more.
