I hate giving this place 3 stars, because I very much want this place to be great. However, that is usually what happens when you come here - you are left desiring more. The service is usually hit or miss, however the staff is always very friendly. The food is generally hit or miss as well - some days the food will be incredible and other days lacking inspiration. Unfortunately, for the prices they are charging, you expect consistency every time. I would say that brunches are much more consistent than their dinner service, and very well priced. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I usually come back here every other month - I just want this place to be great and hope one day they will find their groove.

My wife and I booked our baby shower (6/11/17) here and we couldnt be happier we did. They have a FREE parking lot that they utilize which is only a short walk to and from the restaurant.The shower was amazing. All of our guests loved the food (2 course brunch w/ mimosa drink package) and the set up of the room. We had a total of 53 guests and they fit comfortably! Laura and Nicole (floor and bar managers) were amazing in making sure everything we needed was done. Needless to say the rest of your staff was helpful, courteous and respectful. I look forward to having more events here in the future and you should too.

Just Perfect - we had my nephews rehearsal dinner here and it couldnt have been nicer. Great staff to work with on planning, day of the dinner we were able to come in early and make sure the a/v equipment worked with our MacBook. The night of the event went off without a hitch. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. They easily accommodated the special food requests we had as well. So happy we chose Moonshine, a perfect evening for a very happy event.

I have been to this restaurant twice and both visits have been excellent. It is the usual uppity, trendy restaurant in the sense that the tables are crammed too close together and the meals are expensive. However, I really like this restaurant. On my last visit, I had an excellent Scallop dish, tasty salad and nice cheese plate with nuts and berries. Additionally, they serve a traditional Pimms Cup, which is tough to find in the States.

My girlfriend rates this place a 5, because she loves the ambience and the proximity to the Millburn park. For me, it was a Solid 4, because the drink menu is quite expansive, and the scotch that I tried was delicious. Reasonably priced, good options, fresh food, and a beautiful patio where you can eat while watching cars with whiz by on busy Millburn streets.

I had my rehearsal dinner here in their upstairs area. We had about 70 people and it was the most incredible event. They went out of their way to accommodate us and everything went so smoothly. The space is great and the food and staff as well!! So many guests commented on how great it was! Thank you!

Best food ive ever eaten, period, anywhere. Here for a buffet dinner/ birthday party in the upstairs section. BluE Cheese risotto, skirt steak. Penn vodka, salad w a creamy dressing and toasted walnuts. Wanted to shake the chefs hand.

Went there with the family. The two Year old boss baby was all over the place and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. I love this place. The grilled spanish octopus was excellent and the waiter Mark.. Mark is awesome..

Love it here! The food is AMAZING, they have gluten free options, the beer selection is on point, the drinks are very well made, and the service is tip top. Easily find myself coming here after work or for a nice dinner.

A little piece of NYC right in the heart of MIllburn, NJ no less. While the food is on the higher end of the price range, it is TOTALLY worth it. SO are their signature drinks ( try the moonshine punch!)
