Based on the other reviews, I think the restaurant is paying attention to these comments. We arrived early on a Friday and stayed for a couple of hours. The wait staff gets an A for friendliness, quick greeting and smiles. However, I give them a C on attentiveness. The wait staff roves, (no assigned tables), so while this means anyone you can grab can help you, it also means that no one necessarily checks in on you either. The place filled up while we were there and it was hard to move around the tables, so that may be the reason our drinks were not refilled as often as we would have liked. The two parties drinking beer (at opposite ends of the table) were never asked if we wanted another. From an ambience perspective, it is casual and nicer than the pictures appear. B+ for cleanliness (though I cannot comment on the restrooms since I did not visit them). A+ for noise level. They did not have the TVs blasting, so we could have conversation and still keep track of the game. C for FOOD: Quantity over Quality. Typical appetizers were disappointing. Entrees, include soup or salad and they were very generous portions (mangia). Everyone took home a doggie bag. Besides steak, the most expensive item on the menu was Veal Parmagiana and it was $12 - but you get what you pay for, as it was only OK. As another reviewer stated, my kids liked everything, though my youngest said the Fettucine Alfredo was also only OK (too soupy). I tasted it and felt it was rather flavorless other than garlic. The soup was excellent based on the fact that she did not share it with me but ate it all herself. We ordered both thin crust and deep dish pizza and while tasty it does not compare to my preference (Giordanos or Edwardos--neither of which are nearby). P.S. Almost forgot, they get an A++ for carrying Italian beer. If I lived near here, I would probably go back and give them another try and order bar food like burgers and their Italian Beef sandwich to see if that holds up any better but if you are a foodie, skip it. If you consider Olive Garden or Pizza Hut Italian Food, give them a try. .

I thought after a horrible previous experience I would give this place another shot at redemption. EPIC FAIL! For a foody like myself the food is mediocre, doesnt come as ordered and customer service, i.e. management, is a joke! The "owner" cuses at his customers and puts it back on you ignorantly when they get EVERYTHING WRONG with this famous question, " Whatta you want me to do?" Their ignorant famous line. Well heres your answer, how about get my order straight, deliver it on time (not 2 hours late), not burnt, with the sides that I ordered and the correct pop! As for management, for future if you want continued business you have to have RESOLUTION to your mistakes. *******Make sure if you have bad service and they want to rectify an order with a credit..DONT BELIEVE THEM! Wanna know what this place does? They tell you theyll issue you a credit and when you call to try to get your credit for your order...IT DOESNT EXSIST! SO BEWARE THESE OWNERS ARE SCAMMERS! GO ELSEWHERE! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!

My wife and I are always looking for new places to eat out at.This is one where we wont be going back to. First, the service was pretty good until it was time to pay. Then nobody seemed interested in us paying.Maybe we should have just left.Anyways,I felt like leaving after getting ripped off on the soup.We both ordered an entree which COMES WITH A CUP OF SOUP.We decided that we would order a BOWL of soup and just pay the difference.Turns out,we got NO credit for the CUP of soup that COMES with the entree, and had to pay full price for the BOWLS! It is very cramped in there.Way too many tables.Kind of dirty.Food was a good portion and didnt taste too bad,but overall, you can find MUCH better places to dine out at! Overall,I say below average and I hope my review can help you make your dining decision!

My fiance and I were forced to utilize their service (by city ordinance) to have them cater the bar for our wedding reception at a nearby venue. Our first contact with them was completely undesirable and a complete failure. Pete, the owner, was arrogant, rude, and completely uninterested in actually accommodating a catered event. When I was finally able to get a price package out of him, he quoted us packages in the range of $40-50/head!! FOR A BAR PACKAGE!! He quite obviously does not understand catering, weddings, or fair business practices. After that encounter we actually changed our wedding venue so we would not have to deal with these creeps. They seem interested in one thing only: your money. Do yourself a favor, spend it somewhere that actually cares about you.

First off the food is good if u can get it the way u order it. Weve been eatting there for over a year now. But the last 6 months or so they cant get an orded rite if there life depended on it. Evan the owner is a stupid person. I think they all must be inbred or something. They will offer credit. Then when u call back there isnt any credit. Wow last night we ordered they said we had a 15.00 credit. But when the pizza got 2 our house they wanted full price. So the owner said next time will give u the credit. Well sorry 2 tell u there will never be a next time. I realy dont understand how u can have such bad listening skills. All I can say is f@2k u 2

Havent been back since Spring 2010, very garlicy, generous portions, came in early and the place filled around us, slightly greasy/grimy--Agree with Lauras Oct 2009 rating. Drinks werent refilled. I had one beer (and a designated driver), so I would have liked another, but was never asked (I was at the head of the table). Kitchen is open and adds a bit of noise but what was most disturbing was the language being used by the cook. The kids had just walked up to order italian ice and the cashier gave it to them free b/c she recognized that they should not be exposed to that type of language.

La comida muy rica pero en una época pedíamos para onda delivery y nos traían lo que ellos querían nunca coincidían los pedidos que hacíamos nosotros, bueno eso por lo demás la comida muy sabroza.

Excellent food, avoid nights with karaoke... the renovation amplifies poor singing and is so loud its challenging to have a basic conversation. I have stoped going here very often based on this changed situation. However, on other nights it is worthy of four stars. I am providing this rating based on a quiet evening here, a loud one I would lower the score because of atmosphere not food.

When this place was in the smaller shop in Schaumburg on Meachum they catered my wedding 5 years ago and guests loved the food. I just had a birthday/anniversary party and had this new location cater that and guests loved the food even more this time. The italian sausages were the biggest hit, then the vesuvio potatoes, then the eggplant rolls.

Great place. Amazing food. One of the last places that still serves creamy garlic salad dressing. Though no changing table in the washroom and because my daughter in law had to go down to the floor to change my grandson. Lol the lights were motion detector and she had to keep waving her arms to make the lights come back on. Still loved it.
