We walked in for a late morning Saturday breakfast, having chosen this place based on others combined rating. As we passed through the revolving door, we faced a front of wait staff deeply submerged in careless indifference. Please note that the word "greeted" appears nowhere in the preceding sentence. As we looked through the menu, I ordered coffee. What arrived easily qualified as the worst coffee I have been served in years. I ordered bacon and eggs and my wife chose the chorizo scrambled eggs. What the menu described as "house potatoes" turned out to be pre-fabricated potato bits. They were certainly no longer frozen, and thats the nicest thing I can say about them. As for my bacon, Ive seen better at McDonalds. The narrow, shriveled strips had no flavor, and the cook charred some of them beyond edible. The eggs and the toasted English muffins turned out ok. My wife had to send her entree back since the waitress forgot or neglected her request. The next iteration arrived very quickly, leaving me to wonder whether they just scraped off the cheese or cooked another portion. All in all, my wife left more satisfied with her meal than I did. Given the variety and quality of breakfast places in the area, I am amazed that the Rhapsody Cafe had such a high rating. In my opinion, it is the worst breakfast place in the area.

The food is good and the service is quick and friendly. Pretty much exactly what you want from your local breakfast place. The kitchen pulls off things with eggs that seem to defy physics. Okay. I exaggerate a tad. The food is quite quite and the owners are always on site checking in with customers. Theyve got that part of the business down pat. Decor is the next frontier. Its a mishmash of chickens, early 1900s travel posters, faux Tiffany lamps, etc and had no real uniformity. Some wood panels have been removed and exposed underlying brick and the panels remain in other places.

1, waiter greeted me in Spanglish 2, coffee - well black water sums it up - they did leave a pot at the table Im guessing so they didnt have to be bothered coming back for a refill 3, had a egg scramble watery eggs like youd get from a cafeteria kitchen. 4, after the meal waited for 10-15 for the waiter to return with the check never did! Went to front counter for it. Would not recommended.

I have found this to be a very welcoming and delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch venue. It is owned by a couple who run the restaurant in a very family/person friendly manor. The husband is from Latin America, and so a number of the options have the feel of that region. The menu has clearly been designed with both health and flavor in mind.

The best selection of American and ethnic specialties. Food is prepared in a health-oriented fashion, and anything ordered is delicious. We eat at Rhapsody 3 plus times a week. Those who are contrary, complain about Rhapsody, are curmudgeons who wouldnt be happy with anything put in front of them. A favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I like the atmosphere, but the food itself I found underwhelming. I had a coffee, which was nothing special, and a short stack of chocolate banana pancakes, which tasted mostly like flour.
