Mal servicio al Cliente por parte de la hostess cajera, yo he trabajado en este Ramo restaurantero por 10 años aún cliente no le puedes decir no , por no moverme de mesa perdiste 3 clientes ojo para la próxima .Hoy fuimos alrededor de las 10:00 am , trate de sentarme en otra mesa que estaba desocupada con más espacio éramos 3 y nos sentíamos incómodos en la mesita creo deberían tener mesas más grandes , el lugar muy bonito eso que ni que , el Punto maneje desde south holland 45 min de distancia para conocer este lugar porque alguien me lo recomendó y resulta que no me podía sentar en otra mesa porque se les iba a poner ocupado y tal ves necesitaban esa mesa , cuando vi que en una mesa igual a la que yo me quería mover estaba una sola persona que ya iba a pagar y en la otra habían 2 personas ?? Y yo no Pude moverme de mesa , lastimosamente nos fuimos el mesero amable pero sería incomodo comer en esas mesitas las salsas picantes ocupaban la mitad de espacio de las mesitas .

Long wait to be seated. Small location. Waiting room is bigger than dining area. It was my first time and i was growing inpatient because they had said half an hour ended up being more like an hour. I had told my wife the food better be good or Im going to be upset. Finally seated and wait for food wasnt short. Cafe de la hoya was fire, got a large. Only problem was large cafe is a huge cup and my cup couldnt handle all that cafe and handle broke. So i waited almost hour and a half to eat and my legs were scalded. I still gave this place four stars because the food was great. Will be coming back. I saw someone order a burrito and wanted to order one but I was all sticky. Did end up coming back on a hot day and they have AC ducts but no A.C. was on. It was hot as a balls in there. If the weather hot, Id go somewhere to eat

El servicio muy amable, pero la espera.... wow!!! 30 min para que te sienten y despues de eso, cerca de 1 hora para que te traigan la comida. Los chilaquiles verdes no estan buenos, los frijoles muy aguados, desepcionados de este lugar. La decoracion esta muy bonita pero el lugar es muy pequeno y no hay estacionamiento, precios razonables. Para gente con mucha paciencia y tiempo que perder.

OK, Ill admit it - a good friend and I made it our mission to come here because of the ties to the movie "Stranger than Fiction," which was filmed here in Chicago. I was surprised to find it located in a very residential area of South Lawndale in Chicago, and because there werent other businesses around, it felt rather isolated (but that is the magic of the movies for you!) However, the parking was easy, the food was good, and it was a great way to spend a few hours catching up with a friend in a very unique setting.

Great service and friendly place to visit. The decoration is as the name is, with lots of crosses and church statues. Came in Sunday at 1pm and there was plenty of people there and we were 7 in line but it didnt take long before we got seated. Alfredo was our server and got our drinks right away but maybe he is new because it took several times for us to get most of our food. But the food itself was very good so that made up on the whole experience. Will come back. The dishes were not salty like last time.

Me encata este lugar te sientes como en familia. Todo esta delicioso! su cafe de olla, chilaquiles,panini hawaiano y sus postres crepas con frutas, waffles. Tambien tines que probar sus jugos naturales. El mejor servicio al cliente!

Service is extremely slow and you repeatedly have to remind the wait staff as they often forget certain items. Majority of their food is ok, not great but not bad, mediocre is the word Id use. Place is kitschy and has a home feel to it but its spoiled by the extremely bad service. Prices are also high for the neighborhood, you can find better Mexican food for cheaper prices. Not a bad place but not a great place either

Place is in desperate need of a good cleaning long wait for my food to be served with hairs all over I was very disgusted please restaurant owner offer your staff some proper way to handle food and enforce hairnet usage around food and please at least offer a discount for the inconvenience of ruining appetite sorry I was so disappointed definitely not thinking of returning not recommending your establishment

This place should not serve food. It was the worst panini I have ever had! I ordered a portabella mushroom panini which pretty much should be called a green pepper sandwich. It had a tiny piece of what looked like mushroom the rest was all green peppers. Worst of all it wasnt even a panini. it was just served of toasted bread. I will never go there ever again. I would never recommend it to anyone! YUK!

Horrible RACIST service towards African American people. And Im latina seeing this. Shame on the owner. Youre a piece of crap. Miss the old owner. She was much better and cared about the education of people of all races trying to better themselves through cultural awareness, plus the food tasted better when it was under old management. Wont be recommending this place any longer.

They told us that we would be seated in 30 min and an hour later they told us we would still have another 30 min to wait. Had we known that we would have to wait 1 hour and a 1/2, we would just have gone to another place and tried again another day. Stop fibbing. Just tell people its at least an hour if youre lucky. We went to aguascalientes afterward.

They messed up my order, I messaged them and they offered a refund but when I went they told me that I was the one that had messed up, they were rude and apparently the receipt and an image of what I had gotten wasnt enough. Its sad that this place didnt keep their word and acknowledge that my order was wrong and then back down from the refund.

I love when I can find a place with good chilaquiles, and this was definitely it!! If you like spicy food (very spicy) I recommend the chilaquiles a la diabla. Such amazing flavor! The horchata is also fresh and delicious and the service is fast and friendly! 4 stars only for the location - can feel a little unsafe but worth the trip.
