The first time I went to this restaurant was about 2 weeks ago. We were seated in a small dining area elbow to elbow with other diners. The dining area looked like something an old grandma decorated and then lost touch with the times. We waited 55 minutes for our food and then it happened. The food was amazing!!! I had the sampler which was big enough to take some home. For the food you got the price was reasonable. I decided to go back to Black eyed pigs again today and before I could reach the door I was greeted by a server. She was polite but explained that they were closed due to a large catering order that day that consumed all of the food. She literally said they ran out of food. Thats not how a restaurant should be ran if you want to keep customers. No we are sitting at michelbobs getting ready to enjoy what they have to offer.

If you are a barbecue connoisseur, this is not the place. If youre just looking for a basic barbecue to quench a fix, dive in. A great smoked joint has excellent sauces, the ones offered were nothing to write home to mom about. The sweet sauce at our table wasnt sweet enough and the hot lacked bite. The saving grace was the meat alone but not good enough to stand alone, I found myself drowning it in the aformentioned criticized barbecue sauce — ironic, I know. The sweet potato fries were overcooked — I took two bites and declined the rest. The coleslaw was more neutral than Sweden and Switzerland, combined. I ordered the Rodeo, pulled pork atop a spicy sausage. Yeah, applaud the culinary risk-taking but..no. In the end this was quite a disappointment youre better off at the other offerings in SWFL in my humble opinion.

If I could rate this place a Negative 2 I would. Went to this place few weeks ago and Highly DONT Recommend to anyone looking for a rib joint. Ribs were dry when I bit into it and the fries were too burnt. Waitress seemed to be pushy and impatient with us and wouldnt allow me to finish my order when she asked what I wanted. And $1.50 for a soda can!?!? Really.. Talk about a major ripoff!! Last but not least the AC wasnt even on or was broke cuz we were sweating like pigs in there. What kind of Restaurant doesnt have an AC?? Pricing on the food wasnt even worth it. $20 for a full rack and the full rack looked like a half Rack burnt. Never again going to this place and telling my friends never to go here..

Horrible service and it was very uncomfortable to eat while your sweating due to no AC. We went in for lunch and we felt rush to put our order in, we didnt understand why when it wasnt even busy. We get our can of soda ($1.50 for each can) and our food. The ribs were dry and had a very tough bite. For a $25 full rack, I would expect some real BBQ. Also, expect to be sweating while your trying to eat some dried out ribs cause i dont think they have any A.C. They had ceiling fans on but they didnt cool the place enough so it made it uncomfortable to eat. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

We arrived 25 minutes before closing but staff didnt bat an eye and were very welcoming. The pulled pork was really good, as was pulled pork sandwich, and onion rings hit the spot. No plastic utensils that we saw that someone previously had posted were in use. Only thing missing was getting to meet the owner who was from WV just like I am. We would definitely recommend and come back.

This was the best non seafood, hole-in-a-wall place I could find while visiting Florida. The food was quick to serve and was one of the best BBQ I have ever had. I travel a lot to Florida for work and this will be my new favorite place to grab some food. It was so good we ordered a sandwich to go on the way to the airport. Thank you for making such a great restaurant!

I had the Memphis-style ribs and my girlfriend had the beef brisket. I just have to say that the food was fantastic...even the sides which I could tell were homemade. Our server was really friendly and conversational and I was like sitting down to a wonderful meal in your own home it was so comfortable. This is one place I plan to return to as often as possible.

Love this place! Definitely, a low key local joint with great BBQ and smoked meats. Pretty small as most tables are 2 seaters with about 2-3 thats seat 4+. Been going for over a year now and the food is consistently good. I am not a big wing guy, but i highly recommend the deep fried smoked wings because they are pretty amazing.

Best ribs in town? Really? My husband and I went there based on the reviews from here. We should have left when we noticed we were the only patrons at the place. The place is a hole; i had ribs and it was cold and one of the worst I ever had. I was just in naples visiting. If I were a local, I wouldnt come back.

When they first opened the quality was great. Lately, the service is poor, they charge a higher price and serve with plastic dinnerware on take-out plates. Most importantly the Pulled Pork was dry and terrible. I shall avoid taking my guests there in the future.

I eat here at least once a week! The wings are to kill for and the fries are always so crispy and hot. Love their sweet tea and if youre looking for a sandwich, the pulled pork will not disappoint. Ill come here for the rest of my life!

A hidden gem in Naples! Cozy place with the best food. Fried okra is the best Ive ever had. Pulled pork is juicy and delicious. Truly a dining experience. Great service too. You will not be disappointed.
