The ramen here is amazing, this place is underrated. I havent tried much else so Im not going to speak for anything else. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very good. Stayed on top of things and was just great at his job. Only issue I could have if I was bring really picky,is the smell was alittle off. Smelled dirty, the decor is kind of annoying. Im tall so I have to duck under things. But its well with going for the food. If not for these things it would be an easy 5.

Yasuke is as close as I will ever get to authentic Japanese food in the Rio Grande Valley! The food here is amazing and the service is excellent! It may look and feel small, but thats the average size of most places in Japan. I was fortunate to have lived in Japan for a while which broadened my interest in Japanese cuisine.

Yasuke is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. The service is attentive without being overbearing and they are great about explaining the daily specials and any questions regarding the menu. Everything I have tried has been fantastic, from a nice huge bowl of spicy ramen to otoro nigiri and everything in between.

Great service! I called 30 minutes before arriving to McAllen I had been driving for 5 hours and I was starving. I asked them to have my order ready before I arrived and they did. I just arrived eat and enjoy the wonderful service and food. Few restaurants have this service and efficiency in McAllen.

This place seriously has the nicest staff in the world! Alex was super attentive and helpful! Seriously I recommend this place to everyone because the food is absolutely amazing and the customer service makes it so much better! Im not from McAllen but I will definitely be coming back to eat here!

Came in from blistering 100* heat pouring sweat... sat there for 10 minutes... they couldnt be bothered to bring me some water... not even a napkin to wipe my face!!! no one spoke to me and i was sitting at the sushi bar!!! Pathetic!!!

The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The beef Bento Box had a lot of food for one person: 4 pieces of tempura, beef teriyaki, rice, 3 gyoza and 6 slices of assorted sashimi. Great value and great quality.

Every time I come into McAllen for work I have to eat here. Great service and Luis the sushi chef makes my sashimi the way I ask every time. Alex the owner greets me and the staff is great.
