This review is based on my delivery experience & the food. Lets first start with why we ordered from here. My co-worker said she has always wanted to try this place because she heard it was good. So a group of us decided to order delivery and have it arrive around the time we planned to take our lunch break. The restaurant opens at 11 am on Friday looking at my phone records I called at 11:06 am and the receipt says my order was placed at 11:08 am on Friday May 15th. I asked for delivery to be around 12. I assumed they didnt have many orders since the place just opened and we just knew we would get our food on time. We planned to take lunch at 12 pm and the website said delivery time was normally 45-60 minutes. It would have been ok if they arrived 10 minutes after 12. At 12:13 pm I called the restaurant to see if they were still coming. It sounded like someone picked up the phone & set it down and then I was put on hold. The second time I got an answer and they confirmed the address and said the driver was leaving now. So I decide to go down to the lobby and wait because this place was only 10 minutes away. The driver called me at 12:24 pm to verify the address and to ask for assistance. Once again we are on the same street(Hammond Dr & our company name is huge on the outside) and I did tell them what building I was next to and across from when I placed the call. At 12:36 pm the driver called me and said she was outside. The first thing I was expecting was an apology but not really. She came in smiling talking about how she was so glad to find me. She also made excuses about her GPS not working and that she tried to call the restaurant but she couldnt get through. So from calling them at 11:06 am and the food finally in my hands at 12:39 pm. I did not know it took that long to make one pizza and 10 chicken wings. No apology or explanation on why it took so long. The worst part is my lunch was over at 12:45 pm. I only ate one slice of pizza, it honestly wasnt that great to me. The chicken wings were tiny and overcooked. The chicken was dry, the sauce helped a little but not much. I called the restaurant back a little later just to ask the name of the manager. I was told his name David and that he was too busy to talk. I did not ask to speak with him at the time I just wanted to know his name. After I was told he was busy I was put on hold... I eventually hung up because I didnt have time to wait any longer. Worst delivery experience ever!!!

I ordered from UberEATS, because Ive driven by this place so many times and wanted to try it out. I ordered a calzone with spinach, feta, sundried tomatoes--all that yummy stuff!-- and mozzarella sticks. When I received my order and sliced into the calzone, I saw pepperoni, sausage, ham, ground beef--all very bad news for a vegetarian like myself. When I called and reported the error to the restaurant, they said I could come pick up my corrected order. My legs arent broken (but I do live 25 mins away), so I figured why not. When I took my new, corrected order home, I bit into it only to discover a plethora of sausage. The manager refused--REFUSED--to send someone out with the THIRD "correct" order, saying that it was Ubers problem, not his. He said he was not going to give me "free food", even though all I was asking for was my correct order (which, at this time, I had placed TWO HOURS previously). The manager, chef, and front desk girl (bless her) got an earful from me not because of their mistake--were all human--but because of their absolute refusal to take responsibility for it and make amends. The manager insisted that it was not his problem, and that I would not be scamming any free food from him. Absolutely outrageous. The sign of a good business is its employees and managements ability to handle errors and do their best to make it right--it seems that those working at Napoli today are incapable of doing so.

The good: for the money, we got quite a lot of food and beverage and even took some home. As far as the pizza itself goes, the sauce was just the right amount and very flavorful, which is where many pizzas fall short in my opinion. The bad: theres not much else to praise about the pizza itself. Another mediocre pizza unfortunately -- crust and toppings nothing bad but nothing to write home about either. The service too was just OK: not bad, but not overly-attentive either. The ugly: the dining room atmosphere feels like a mix between a nursery and the waiting room at a Speedy Oil Change. Bright primary colors and odd artwork on the walls, a couple of televisions -- order take-out if you live nearby, but dont take a date. By the way, we didnt see any roaches.

I should have left when I saw a roach on the wall while waiting to place my order but when the waitress came over I pointed it out and she blamed the frame shop that use to be next door saying that since they moved it’s been a problem but only on that side of the restaurant. We moved to the other side close to the kitchen and after completing 1 slice I started to eat another and 1 small roach was crawling off of sausage onto cheese. I told the waitress she told the cashier who came over and they both didn’t know what to say. I was told the Owner was off do to observing a Jewish holiday. If you enjoy roaches feel free to eat there otherwise choose someplace else. I guess in this economy they have decided to cancel the exterminator services. GROSS!!!!

After my visit there I noticed on my debit statement they took it upon themselves to add an addtitional tip to their poor service. When I called Napolis and requested to speak w/ the owner a VERY arrogant man answered. He said "No whata do you a wanta? The owner doesnta speaka with people!" (I included the accent). I explained to him about the overcharge. He tried telling me it was not them, it was the debit company and he gets these calls all the time. I contacted my bank to file a dispute. Dont let these people get away with such FRAUD!! Besides, they should be ashamed to claim they have real NY pizza, its just as bad as their service!!!!!

If it was possible to pick zero stars for this place I would, i have never experienced a more grotesque experience in restaurant in my life. I was cutting the pizza with a fork(think god i was not just biting it) and happened upon the Marlboro cigarette butt that was hanging out under the cheese as if it were a topping. The owner was very rude about the situation and basically insinuated that I placed the cigarette there. Needless to say I will not be going back and I recommend that anyone else not as well, unless of course your idea of a wonderful pizza topping is a freshly smoked marlboro red.

This is the best New York style pizza in Atlanta. I mean seriously, spot-on. Delicious. Ive ordered delivery once and it was fine. Prompt and polite. Usually, my family does dine-in. The restaurant looks a little rough, but that has never bothered me. The food is quality and thats what matters. I cant imagine ordering from a chain when youve got this great pizza place near by.
