there was a previous 1 star review that has been removed (and now returned, see kc travelor). the writer was critical because this restaurant was dirty in the food and service areas. i stopped by today (12/26/16) just to check it out. it was just about noon and the house had a good number of guests, about 1/3 capacity. there was food and paper on the floor, the prep counter was messy and an open trash can was sitting there (the same complaints as the first reviewer). this store does not project confidence to me. after the chipotle scare, and considering that this is a brand new store, it should be spotless. i have eaten at a half dozen qdobas, and it seems to me that the standards go down each year, just as they did at chipotle. restaurants that have open kitchen areas must work extra hard to maintain customer trust. this store does not. hope they are listening.

Yeah even the small order thing doesnt work well. We ordered 2 burritos when they opened to be picked up 2 hours later. They "forgot" to add the majority of our fillings (not kidding, over half were not there - we basically ended up getting a rice, bean, and meat burrito - salsas, toppings, queso, and cheese were missing)and just stared at us like deer in headlights when we walked up to the register to pick our order up. It took 3-4 customers getting through the register before anyone even asked if we had a question or anything. May have better luck waiting in line - just make sure you dont need a side of anything, but ordering should be avoided at all costs from what Ive seen. The food was pretty good considering it was lacking most of what was ordered.

Several of us at work ordered lunch to be picked up, while the food tasted ok, it was COLD. I ordered taco salad, the chicken was so cold it was straight out of the refrigerator. Another co-worker ordered taco salad with hamburger and it was also cold. The cold grease had coated the shell, and the fajita veggies were not cooked. Another ordered nachos and they were cold and she had to microwave them. (Our office is only about 4 blocks from the restaurant.) Might try again with just one or two orders. Not impressed.

You might as well go order in line because ordering online is pointless!!!! I put my order in ahead of time I said I will be there at 1:15 I got there and my order was not made!!!!! I got an email confirmation that shows 1:15. I came in to tell them that Im picking up. I knew something was wrong when she gave me a free drink. The worker started making my food 10 min from when IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY!!!! I wont come back!!!! I will stick with chipotle

First impression is horrible. Seriously how can you open a brand new restaurant and have it already a dirty mess? The kitchen was disgusting. Food all over the floor along with wrappers and full trash cans. If you cant keep the kitchen clean good lord what else is there? The eating area was also unkept. No matter what since this place was so dirty its going to be a long time before I can get that nastiness out of my head to return. Fail.

My husband was at the Qdoba on 13641 Metcalf Ave in Overland Park around noon yesterday (1/5/17), and after an exchange about Trump, the female cashier told him the company was happy to serve him because he is white. This is not only unbelievable, its unacceptable. Just thought you guys might like to know what is happening in your restaurants. This type of rhetoric is highly offensive and should never happen in retail!

Read previous reviews so was expecting very messy but kitchen and counter was clean. One table had trash but those previous customers could have easily thrown it away since the trash can was right by them. Staff was a little scatter brained since a delivery was happening and they seemed like they were still training. Overall much better experience than I expected though!

A friend of mine ate here earlier today (Jan 5th, 2017), and the cashier not only started talking to him about her support of Trump, but went on to say that Qdoba was happy to serve him because he was white. I hope that management, or even Qdoba corporate will handle this situation, and let whoever was on drawer 1, TM1037 at 12:44 know that this is not acceptable.

Not thrilled. Got nachos and chips and salsa. Guac was tasteless, and the nachos were also flavourless. Comparing to chipotle which Im also not really a fan of, Ill be returning to chipotle.

Real modern looking place with comfortable seating and outlets for computer or phone charging. Real nice staff and other than the oddly salty burrito it was delicious and I will return

Just had the taco salad and with the ground beef and brisket and it beats Chipotle :) the staff was very friendly and the environment is really cool. We will be back !

Qdoba is the new fast casual burrito/taco place in KC and they knock it out of the park. Great atmosphere, family friendly, energetic staff.
