I cant speak for their food. It was an early morning and Id heard they make great breakfast sandwiches and a host of other items. After my morning workout and run, I was in the area and said why not. Being a bit famished, I thought I would try some eggs and grits. First, I do not like cramped spaces where people are breathing down your neck. And I didnt realize this place was a matchbox. The place only had 4 or five people inside and it had already reached its capacity and fire code limit. That initially turned me off; I do not like people standing too close to me. The menu board was a bit confusing to understand so I grabbed a paper menu off the counter. They do have a variety of items and offerings but at that point I discovered that I didnt want anything. I paid for a bottle of water and left. This place does seem popular with the locals though. And the staff seemed friendly as well.

I love a "local" spot and this place fits the bill. Even with the variety of foods offered on the menu they did not skip out on quality. My interest was peaked driving by the first time on the way in to Piscataway Park for Wounded Warrior Project volunteer opportunity. After helping the park clear a trail to connect 2 existing trails we were pretty hungry. I remembered that wed be driving by here again and saw "local oysters" on the sign. It was a bit difficult to choose as the menu has everything from hot dogs, hamburgers and seafood dinner boxes which were conveniently packaged in a nice little box. My son got the crab cake dinner, my boyfriend got a burger and a dog and I went for the oyster dinner box. Everything was delicious and I dont normally like fried seafood. I visit the park about once a week so Im hoping to try breakfast next time Im out there.

Every tried BBQ and cole slaw? You should! This place is a small and welcoming hometown atmosphere where you eat outside. Coming from Nashville, Ive had some good southern BBQ and this place is just as good and one of the best places near Waldorf and in Southern Maryland. In the summer, they also have good ole Root Beer Floats, shakes, and ice cream. It has been a fun place to visit with the kids.

Our favorite is the simple delicious no-frills pulled pork or beef on storebought hamburger roll. Best with slaw on top. Weve been here six times so far, consistently excellent every time. This is not a fine-dining establishment, its an old care-worn but well-kept little carryout. We wish we could try their other offerings but cant resist going back for more BBQ. Service is always friendly.

A classic neighborhood Carry-out. Breakfast sandwiches, hand pressed hamburger patties, soft serve ice cream (industrial specialty mix) in the summer. The staff are local, friendly, the regulars are pleasant and ... regular. No seating indoors. Open early. Call ahead if time is pressing.

Been eating @ B & Js since my family 1st moved 2 Accokeek 33 yrs ago. My family has of course scattered but even those who have moved 2 other states, 1st stop after plane lands is B & Js. Think that says it all! Why 4 stars, not 5? It can be a bit expensive at times, but worth it

All I know is that the pork bbq (w/ coleslaw & extra hot sauce) and chocolate malts are great! I get them every time, and Ive been going here since I was 7! Seating is all outdoors, and ice cream is only in the summer... but they have a pretty generous definition: March-November.

I used to hear about this place and its legendary burgers. Its REAL!!! Ive now been twice in the last week and dont want to eat anywhere else. You gotta have a steak sub. And another thing. The people who work there seem very happy and outwardly convey it.

My first experience with the food was in 1977. I was stationed at the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head. I last visited and got some dixie style bar-b-que a couple of weeks ago. I wished I lived closer so I could visit more often!!

Went there yesterday. Saw the cute building from the road side. Unsure of what I wanted, the girl at the counter offered me a sample of the BBQ. Had the pork BBQ. Sandwich was Amazing. Service was Awesome. Go there if youre close.

I just had a small chocolate ice cream and it was too good to be true i also love B&J sandwiches they have the right amount of flavors and you can realy tast the ingredients that goes into it. I L❤VE B&J. 5 stars

All I can say they have some of the best food to be fast food. Its prices are okay, but the flavor makes up for any short comings. My family started eating their just this year and now where all hooked.

Ordered a Half Smoke and Jumbo Cheese Burger Royal. Half smoke was small and little chilli and mustard. The price needs to be the same size of the Half Smoke. Cheeseburger was a patty. Smh

They have the best NC BBQ sandwich, I have found in the MD area...Every time I have gone, the staff has been friendly. To me you get great bang for your buck! You cant beat it!

Get some onion rings. The food is reasonably priced made to order when you order. My burger had no pink but was tender juicy and delicious. I will be back regularly.

Nothing spectacular. I have had better but I have had worse. If you are looking for a BBQ spot, this is not it, they only have two types of BBQ sandwiches with slaw.
