have been eating regularly at this place for about 5 years, mainly due to lack of choices in the Natick/Framingham area..Finally decided to write a review about what I have noticed and let go for 5 years as well..Here is what I would say, I will break this down into two catergories: Food quality/value and Service/Atmosphere. Food quality/value : The overall quality of the food is decent, nothing spectacular and nothing to go out of your way for. Just slightly above average compared to most pizza/sub shops in the area-this is the only reason to go here regularly, lack of other places to go in this area. Its the truth..Most of what The Peddler serves is previously frozen standard fare from Food Service. Nothing homemade here.. For the most part they do use "whole" ingredients, Boars Head Cold Cuts, and real chicken. Although the lamb Gyros are completely FAKE meat. The rolls they use are the real key to their subs, braided seeded scali rolls. Other than that, if you order anything with their breaded fried chicken, plan on it being totally OVERCOOKED to the point its like eating shoe leather. Their pizza is below average, which is ironic since its in their name, and they generally put far too much sauce/mayo on anything sub that requires it. Lastly, the overall value for what you get is terrible, you will have a hard time spending under $10 for sandwich and drink. Explains why the owner drives a Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. Service/Atmosphere: First the seating area: which is flanked by two entrances, which are literally within 5 feet of the tables and seats. If it is cold outside you literally can not sit in this place and be comfortable, door is opening constantly. Seating area is crowded and there are far too many tables, and people are hovering over you while you eat. Its even difficult to walk across the restaurant to get a drink or bag of chips out of the cooler. I always get my food to go, or eat in my car-its that bad...Last part of this review is about the service, this is where The Peddler falls REALLY flat. For the most part plan on being treated with a scowl when you place your order, and plan on everyone behind the counter to be focused on everything except you as a customer. Its really NOT a friendly place where you get the feeling they truly value customers. Unless you are a good looking female, then you will see the OWNER jump in front of every other sandwich maker to serve her. Dont believe me? Take a good look at barely legal girls he hires. When you finally get to the register, make sure to check your receipt. Make sure to specify BOTTLE OR CAN of soda (if you pick up after you pay), or they will automatically charge you for bottle ($1.50). Funny how they dont ask which. I have been charged incorrectly for several times in the past. Overall the service is awful, and if you go here regularly it doesnt matter. Not that anyone should get special treatment but a simple hello would be nice. Overall, I wouldnt go out of my way for this place. Food quality is a notch above most sub shops, but you will pay for it, and expect the people serving you to treat you with the same frigid temperature of the seating area.

The facts ... $16.59 with tax and $1.00 delivery charge ... large cheese , mushrooms and green peppers ... placed phone order at 3:22 on a Saturday ... I was told delivery would take between 45 minutes to an hour ... 3:42 pizza arrived ... pizza looks good ... I met the store owner, Petro , through mutual friends more than 20 years ago and I have been an occasional customer since the store opened ... my opinions : Petro is a great guy , the store seems to thrive - it always looks busy when I drive by .... every time Ive eaten at Pizza Peddler I have been satisfied ... as for the pizza today , it is for my Dad. Ill try to get him to write a review ... knowing my Dad that aint happening. Happy Memorial Day weekend ! Go Red Sox !!!

i work around the corner from them, and the food quality is good. i started turning co-workers onto them. if you order more than 3 things, they will competely destroy the order. nothing is ever right. and every time i have called to speak with a manager, i have never been offered more than a "sorry." they never offer to fix it. 2 times i have specifically said, "im allergic to mayonaise." both times i have had mayo slopped all over my food as if i had requested it. the manager again didnt even offer to swing the correct order by. if your looking for a pizza sub shop to dine in, they are phenominal and all the food is good. if your ordering out, you will be treated horribly and without regard.

Pizza Peddler has good food, BUT they mess up take-out orders. On reaching home I discovered I had the wrong sandwich. Called up and the girl on the phone took down my details (name, phone) and said she would talk to the manager about giving me a credit. (I threw the sandwich and had PB&J instead). Went to the store a few days later to get takeout and was informed the manager said there would be NO credit!! Spoke to the manager today who informed me coolly she would pass on my message to the owner, and dismissed me. Very poor customer service for a regular patron. Please use caution when getting take-out (or better still check your order before leaving the store premises as there is no recourse).

The food there is delicious! My co workers and I always order from there. We usually order 3 or more things from the menu for take out and the orders are ALWAYS wrong when we order more than 3. Delivery takes a long time. If you go there, order there, and eat there, it is awesome! There is a lady there that is wicked rude. We have gone there to get the right order and she was very careless. Seems to be in a bad mood all the time. Other than that, I like it there :)

I recently had the Pizza Peddler cater my sons graduation party. Despite the bad weather, the food was a huge success with everyone!!!! The food was fresh and delicious. I especially liked the nice arrangement of sandwiches with the condiments on the side in containers. Everyone made their sandwich to their liking. I would highly recommend the Pizza Peddler to cater your next event. I look forward to using their services again in the future. Lisa G.-Holliston

The food is generally good, but their delivery service is AWFUL! Every single time I have ordered from them, they take twice as long than what they tell you. Even if its just a salad they take over an hour and a half to get it delivered. It is completely ridiculous! Their customer service is quite poor as well. They dont offer any explanation or apology when you call to find out where your order is. I recommend if youre going to eat here, dont get it delivered!

Food is decent, nothing extraordinary but not terrible either. Id give a it "meh." I usually get the greek salad with broiled chicken. Its fairly large and I can never finish it. Their biggest flaw is probably the 1 1/2 hour delivery time. For a place that advertises delivery, they really need to hire some more guys (or girls) and keep things moving! All in all, a decent place to get lunch "out here."
