I placed an order last night for a cake for Fathers Day for a Dad I havent had the opportunity to see for over a year. I called today to find out how I could pay for said cake being that I never got the followup call after the confirmation email. No biggie. I get a well worn sounding woman on the phone who seemed slightly annoyed prior to picking up the phone, only to be told that "there is no more space" for orders after explaining that I had placed an order online and wanted to pay. Okay? Dont call the people who placed orders and let them know their order isnt valid so they can go elsewhere for business instead of waiting for a call that wouldnt come, that makes sense. I think you should take the option down or put up a banner that says you are no longer taking orders, so people wont be ordering thinking they can do something nice for someone in their lives, when they obviously cant. I didnt want to beg, but I explained my situation asking if there was anything we can do and she said "come into the store" right after I told her Im placing the order from halfway across the world :[ womp womp womp. Guess thats how it is when you run your own business. Just a heads up for people trying to get vegan goodies out to the loved ones in their lives; either order way in advance or dont order at all, that seems to be how things worked for my first experience.

I dont like vegan things because theyre... well.. vegan. I dont try vegan foods either. Tofu is gross and I stay the hell away from it. So, I thought this place was going to suck. I also thought vegan deserts would take like kosher ones. Really terrible. Whenever I go to orthodox weddings or bar/bat mitzvahs I stay the hell away from the desert section because it always tastes like fat free sugar free bakery items. Needless to say I came into this store with the lowest expectations possible. I was really craving sugar at the time so anything would do. I ended up buying some stuff and when I took a bite IT. BLEW. MY. MOTHERF**KING. MIND. Holy crap this place is great! The blueberry muffins are to die for. Im going back to buy like 10 more and stuff them in my mouth while binge watching netflix. The lesson of this story is to never judge, people. Never judge. If youre even in the area please check this place out!

I went with my family for lunch with high hopes because of its cute name and I am not picky when it comes to vegan food! The waiters were nice, but unfortunately the food was not. The food itself took ages to come out even though there wasnt much of a line. We ordered a blueberry cupcake (strange texture and odd sweet flavor) and a scone (also strange consistency) I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl which was way too salty, and all the ingredients were drowned in a rich sauce that didnt even taste good- only managed to down a few bites. My dad got the avocado toast which he said was tasty but the avocado itself was slightly brown and the portion was far to small for a lunch. Finally my mom got the BLAT which was alright.. but again, absolutely drowned in mayo. Overall, I wouldnt recommend :(

I drove there for 45 min in traffic to order a cake for a party and when I asked to speak to someone about the ordering the girl that came out to meet me said she is not the one to talk to. That was fine, I stood there for 20 min or so waiting and them the girl at the front hands me an email address. I was very confused as to what to do with this. I ordered cakes from them a few times before and loved it, so i came again from the opposite end of Brooklyn and was handed an email ..... Really bad service and they lost a good business. While we were waiting for so called person to help us, we ordered some cup cakes and they were stale :((( never coming back and will let everyone know not to bother wasting time going there....

Everything I tasted was delicious. My barista made me her signature drink. LOL Im not sure if it was coffee, chai or hot chocolate but it was really good. We traveled in from NC and so before we left to get on he plane we stopped in and got some things to bring home with us. Brownies, cookies, OMG the banana chocolate chip loaf warmed is to die for. It lasted through the plane ride and the next day heated. The staff was very friendly and willing to explain about the items we questioned. I would definitely try the sandwiches I had the Ruben and my husband had the BLT both was good but Im not too hooked on the temph but all in all the flavors were great!

Its alright for what it is. The same criticism of why vegans want to eat things that resemble meat is valid here-its a bit hypocritical but, oh well. At least the food tasted good and the ones that didnt have fake bacon or fake turkey tasted better. Its good that they have options for milk plus a bunch of desserts that are decent. Its a roomy space so thats a plus. However, using non-meat products can easily allow for lower prices- a veggie burger priced similarly to a organic, pasture- raised beef burger just feels like robbery. Staff is real friendly and dont rush you so thats a pretty big pro in my book. Come for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

I found this cute little bakery when I was looking for a place near my apartment that I could buy vegan and gluten-free pastries. I was providing treats for my staff at work and was happily surprised at the reception these goodies received! The day I stopped in I bought up all the scones! The staff was so friendly - I was happy that the vibe here as relaxed, yet they were attentive to all the customers. Very friendly. On weekends, this is a great place to walk to for coffee and a pastry in the morning. You wont be sorry to start your day this way!

Excellent baked goods and very good vegan breakfast!! The people here are very sweet and the food is always on point! This place does a great job at being on the healthier side of vegan comfort food but doesnt sacrifice any of that warm, fuzzy, deliciousness that you crave when when you wanna pig out (get the jalapeno cheddar biscuits!!). The atmosphere is gorgeous with beautiful white walls and plants all around. When you walk into this place you walk out of Brooklyn and into a happy little world that you are only too glad to be a part of.

Staff member was rude when I asked "What is the cupcake frosting made of? Her snippy answer: "Well, its vegan! So... all of the ingredients are vegan!" I explained that I expected nothing less from a vegan bakery and then helped her understand that I wanted to know whether the frosting was made of soy milk, coconut milk, etc. Once she realized that her response was incorrect and rude she toned down her attitude and told me that she "thought" soy milk was the base. The cupcakes were decent. Still dont think Ill ever go back.
