First time here. Made reservations here for a party of 8 at 730, on the Saturday before Valentines Day. We got there at the place was packed, witha ton of people waiting. As I waited to check in, some dude says Weve been waiting 90 minutes for a table. So we checked in, they said it would be 15 minutes or so, which was fine. We had a drink at the bar, and before we even got those, they had our table ready. Now keep in mind, I went to tge bathroom, and there were plenty of open tables in the regular side of the place. I think the crowd and waits were because everyone wanted the hibachi show. Also, dont go out to any place nicer than Krystal the Saturday before Valentines day without a reservation, and expect to get seated in less than an hour. So I had a ton of sushi, which was all very good. I also had the lemon pepper tilapia from the hibachi. Very good and something different. Our party was actually in a hurry to get to an event, by the time the hibachi chef started, and at our request, they hurried it up, and got us out in time. Good food, responsive service, and keeping our reservation on track, on a crushingly busy night were all good. I do think theyre stretched a bit thin on hibachi chefs, on nights as busy as tonight, but I think those nights are the exception, and not the rule. Well be back.

I went to try out Kobe a few months ago and needless to say the service was HORRIBLE! the food was excellent and the cook was not bad. Waiting to be seated was fine. getting our drinks was fine. we were seated with two other parties. The server was apparently new, she could NOT handle to the two tables that she had. she brought us our salad with no dressing very late, our soup very late. when asked to get our drinks refilled...she forgot. she forgot my sons white rice and didnt get it until everyone was pretty much done with the food. never got our sushi....the other guy at our table went to go get his sushi and both of our sushi ended up on the same plate. i dont know why. we had to track her down to get our checks. and then when she took our payment, we had to track her down for that too. and the management did notice that she was not doing a great job and did not offer to give her some help. THEY DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE! I dont care about get a discount or free food or whatever. just an apology for the service would have be sufficient because it would have meant that they recognize the problem. i gave the girl the benefit of the doubt and left her $1.00 for being new. This was my first visit and what a bad impression it was. However, based on other reviews I am willing to give it another try.

Spent a lot of money here tonight and there was a total of 10 at the table. Never met the other 6 until Hibachi and we met new friends. We were having a Bday celebration and so were they.The service was HORRIBLE! The soup was cold! They would heat it up in the microwave. (No thank you) We were basically the last party in there tonight and spent a lot of $$$$$. We will never ,,,,,,ever go back ! The kitchen was closed so no dessert and there were 2 Bdays going on at our table. Service was bad,,,,,,,bad bad!!!!! We got there at 7:45 pm and were "kicked" out literally by 10pm!!!! Dessert was never served,,,,we were told kitchen was closed! My son and this husband and wife shared their thoughts and feelings with the POSS management team. Bad ,,,,,,,bad service!!!!!!!! My daughter met 3 new friends and none of us will ever go back there! Dont waste your time or $$$$. They are all POSS! Contacting the OWNERS soon!!!!#

Some friends and I went to the Kobes Steakhouse in PTC and a friend bought a "Sake - Nigori, cold" which is marked as costing $8 on the menu. They charged him $17 and explained this by saying "all cold sakes are $17 and if the server didnt tell you that the price was wrong on the menu then the server will have to pay for the sake". Needless to say we thought this was bulls**t and left the server a big tip to cover mgmts mistake. That one incident of poor management ruined an otherwise great meal. Other than the managements failure to own up to a mistake, the food was good. Our server was also great, but got shafted. If you want to get some good sake cheap and are willing to fight over it, check and see if their "Sake - Nigori, cold" is still incorrectly priced.

Im here right now! 7/16/16 @ 2:45pm. The food is pretty good and chef did a nice job preparing the food, but the waitress is another story. Where is she? We had to take our dishes to the door so that our table would be cleared. Can I have a refill please? The service is horrific We had to go to the bar and ask for napkins. As kind as she seemed, the lack of customer service is evident. I had to ask another waiter to please go and get our waitress. The service was very slow. And the restaurant is almost empty. Too bad the $2.43 tip was already included, because I would not have left that. I always tip very well, but I couldnt seem to add anything more to her tip..... I wont be back!

My husband and I walked out. We came in towards the end of the lunch time not realizing they were closing soon. We requested sitting at the hibachi station, but they said they were closed. My husband made a joke to the server about wanting to sit at the grill, and then said we would take a table. He walked over to our table put down the menu and walked off before we got to the table. We sat there and waited over 5 minutes and no came to our table. We finally got up and left. We will not be going back.

The food was OK, but not what I was used from other Japanese Restaurants. The show at the Hibachi was nice, but the same on all tables. I ordered a plain Sprite as drink and it had such a strange taste, that I didnt dare to drink more than just a sip. From the full glasses other people left behind, I assumed that I wasnt the only one with that experience. The staff was friendly, but even though the place was almost empty, the service was rather slow.

Ever time I eat there during lunch time they seem like,they have a new staff. My salad was swimming in salad dressing... I think my cook cooked my food to fast my chicken was a little under cooked. I was sick the whole night... They use to be really good but for the pass few times it has not been good....

My wife and I have been to every sushi restaurant in the Tyrone/PTC area and this is our favorite. The sushi is excellent, always tastes very crisp and fresh and is never weighed down with heavy creams or sauces like Benihana. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is usually pretty good.

I have eaten three times at this restaurant, once with the chef in front of me, once at a regular table, and once for take out. All three times were delicious, the ambience is great, the staff personable, and the entire experience well worth the money. Will continue to give Kobe my patronage.
