What I feel about Jollibee is the same way I feel about Mos Burger (in Hong Kong) - Its familiar, yet its different in their own, unique way. Because, in this nation, were filled with fast food chains that have menus offering much too similar of choices, Im one of those who are glad Jollibee exists. Jollibee, as I would describe it, offers fast food from its heavily-westernised tropical home in the Philippines that includes burgers made the islander/Filipino way, their crispy & juicy "ChickenJoy" fried chicken and some sweet dessert choices. While it all sounds way too familiar, theres probably a reason why Filipinos come back to this place all around the world. In my visits, I either order a burger combo (usually the Amazing Aloha Burger) or a 2-piece ChickenJoy combo. In terms of the burger, due to its typical find in most fast food chains, Im not going to say much about it but that it isnt seasoned as much as other chains do. However, what I have found is that the simple sandwich, which is usually the staple inexpensive fast food offering (much like "dollar menus" or "value savers") and called the "Yum with Cheese" there, has a sweeter Thousand Island sauce. I never thought of it that way, but they know how to play with the taste of a burger while keeping it on the cheap! As for the ChickenJoy, I cant recommend that to anyone who visits Jollibee (unless you dont eat Fried Chicken, of course.) This isnt your other fried chicken joints menu offering, but its, dubbed, "Filipino Fried Chicken" that does everything other fried chicken restaurants do wrong right. It truly is the finger-licking delicious that youre looking for. Its not a heavily-spiced seasoning or something that makes it taste nothing like fried chicken, but its simply how fried chicken should taste like - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. If youre looking for spicy, this isnt the place - if youre looking for a flavourful fried chicken meat taste, ChickenJoy is what you seek! I can apply this paragraphs statements to all nations outside the Philippines that have a Jollibee in them! Those working at this Jollibee were trained to do their work right, not fool around and serve up some good food. Based on my observations and comparison to other competing domestic fast food chains, these attentive, professional employees truly served up more smiles to their customers faces than in other fast food chains. Granted the demographic of the clientele reach has been to Filipinos in America, locals enjoying themselves with those who are the face of the restaurant is such a great thing. The restaurant has a simple layout with comfortable dining areas. Every visit, the place is kept well-cleaned and sanitary, interior and exterior. And therefore, • Affordable and Delicious, coined "Affordelicious" on their menu. However, their entire menu bears that trait. • Its familiar but different. While many of the offerings are the same, its the little differences you dont notice that make the value. • The people that make up the restaurant are so positive and nice, its practically a joy to eat there. Although I live far from this location, Id still go to it if I have a reason to be in Northeast NJ.

So the first time here they gave me a burger that was broken and when I asked for it to be remade they gave me the same broken Burger today a new experience there was no white meat in the bucket of chicken we did not know that was standard and they didnt explain it so when I ordered 3 extra chicken strips to accommodate the white me that my mother-in-law wanted they insisted on charging me for a meal rather than just three chicken strips which I wanted as a principal I will never come to this restaurant again that includes bringing my family to this restaurant and theyre Filipinos for their simple unwillingness to accommodate a request they have lost our business for life

This place is definitely a go to spot and a pilgramage for all filipinos in the tri state area (especially if you dont like heading all the way out to Queens). As usually I ordered way too much food, but thats okay, I always appreciate the challenge of trying to finish everything I order :). Anyway I got the palobok and 1 piece chicken joy combo and my girlfriend got the two piece chicken joy. Both of which were very tasty. The chicken was crispy and went very well with the gravy. The palobok was good, for a fast food place. All in all a very nice experience. I even had room for halo halo!! A favorite dessert treat especially on hot summer days

Im from Toronto and my family, literally a 2 minute walk from Jollibee makes this place a MANDATORY destination as soon as I arrive. Definitely gets HELLA busy with the line up to the door. The food makes the wait worth it. Every year, first weekend in June, we are a part of the PND parade (Beauty Kings and Queens) which runs through Manhattan, we make this place a mandatory stop with our tour bus and go hard on our cheat day here before heading back to Toronto!

So for today I orders the spaghetti and chicken and my wife ordered the palabok and chicken. The food is good. Being a Filipino and having a staple from the Philippines is a great experience. Although it doesnt taste like the one in the Philippines it still has a great taste to it For desserts you should try the halo halo which means to mix. It is a mix of exotic things that I would rather let you find out for yourself. So come by and eat here.

Went here last year, first time at Jollibee, good Filipino dishes and good burgers and chicken. No white meat but there chicken strips are and they are very good. They have a smaller eating area then other fast food places and gets crazy busy at times. You always have to wait a couple minutes for your food, and as always there prices are higher then traditional American fast food.

The chicken is absolutely amazing! I dont think i could ever go back to Popeyes or kfc. The atmosphere has the liveliness of a grand opening. Theres a giant Jolly Bee walking around greeting the guests and people are invited to take pictures with it. They even have their own photographer. I cant wait to bring my family back and try some of the other menu items.

"First and foremost, this is a Fast food chain originated in the Phillipines. I am Filipino at glad we have our own here. Be aware that the menu may be weird to people who have never tried it. But there are unique staples on the menu that anyone can love: fried chicken, spaghetti, gravy, etc.. definitely go there to make your own opinion." - Ansel Ponce Asian

This place is always packed so i thought to my self the food must be good. Chicken was so bland ..the extra star comes for the skin it is perfectly crisp ...but it has absoulutley NO flavor ..taste like they just breaded boiled chicken. No seasoning . I defintely wont be going back. Joillie bee wont miss me cause they get plenty of business

The fried chicken (chicken joy) is the best. Excellent if they offer free internet access. Many Filipinos who are travelling to New York or US will definitely visit Jollibee. Just like me, we dont have access to internet to check in for Facebook and post our foodie pictures which could be a good promotion for Jollibee in New Jersey.
