Oishi means "delicious" in Japanese. The restaurant is ran by a Chinese couple. They serve both Japanese and Chinese cuisine here. I had to state that early in the review as it adds to my later points. To start, the décor of the restaurant is rather depressing. Not much really going on and the brown and black color tones dont add much to the atmosphere. Also they dont play any music in the background so its makes it gives the place a very eary setting. There were oddly no other customers the day, but I heard the crowds here vary a lot. The food itself is kind of complicated. The Japanese dishes are not that good. The ramen in particular has no real flavor to the broth and its not quite as savory as it should be. The Chinese dishes are a bit better, I would recommend trying those over the Japanese options here. Some people may not be able to tell the difference but I can. Its like eating Pho at a Korean restaurant, the taste is similar but a Vietnamese person will know immediately that something doesnt taste right with it. Ill keep this one rather short. The food is going to be a hit or miss for most people. The staff and service was good but the atmosphere plus the food dont really make this place feel that special. On the other hand the food isnt too expensive so youre not getting ripped off. Still debating if I should give this place another shot. For now I would say no.

When we walked into the restaurant, only one table was occupied with no employee and server in sight. We waited awkwardly until someone walked in from a loud kitchen. The atmosphere is awkward, with no music playing, and it smelled a little off. The food took a long time to be served, given that there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. The broth for the ramen and udon was bland, I had to add a lot of salt and sriracha and another spicy sauce they had to give it taste. When we needed more water, we had to wait for the server to come out of the kitchen to be able to ask. To get napkins, I had to stand up and search for them behind this counter thing because there was no one to ask for assistance. Since the service wasnt that great, I didnt leave a huge tip. As I was leaving, the server stopped me and said that I need to tip 15% at least. Wont come back again.

We frequent the Snow Mountain next door but it is usually after dinner. We happen to stop by before dinner this time and thought we gave Oshi Noodles a try. The food was flavorful and everything was great. Our favorite was the pan grill squid appetizer. The waitress was especially attentive as there werent many customer at the time (a Saturday night). The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. As tempting as it was to want to keep this spot to ourselves, I had to write a review to keep it going. I dont want to see another restaurant closes due to lack of social media instead of bad food and/or service. Give this place a try when youre craving Japanese and are in this part of town.

Worst "Japanese" ramen Ive ever tasted. Ive never had Japanese ramen that was really bad but this place really shouldnt call these noodles "Japanese Ramen". Wife and I went here because if the good reviews but we were surprised by how terrible the noodles tasted. I dont care that it is owned by Chinese people as long as ramen tastes good but these noodles are not Japanese ramen as someone else said on here. The broth of the seafood ramen was bland and the don katsu ramen tasted like msg. I think instant noodles would taste better.

Brought my family here to eat dinner. The service was excellent. I love their Takoyaki ( octopus meatball) and the Shoyu ramen. The kimchi was also delicious. It isnt as pungent as the Korean kimchi which uses a lot of garlic and ginger. These ingredients leave a strong odor in your mouth that is hard to get rid of. This kimchi I learned was the Japanese- produced Kimuchi that is sweet and flavorful. Before you leave, make sure you try the green tea ice cream.

The ramen here is rich and flavorful, and you get a big bowl for $8 or $9, with rich broth and handmade noodles with great texture. I highly suggest the tonkatsu ramen. I also had the fried calamari appetizer, which is excellent quality albeit a tad expensive for the amount they give you. Make sure to try the green tea ice cream for dessert - perfect tea to milk flavor ratio.

Ramen was ok, service was good. Waitress was very helpful, recommended my wife and I get extra noodles for our bowls instead of ordering our young daughters another bowl. Very sincere and you dont see that much anymore. Interior seemed very minimal, like theyre on the verge of shutting down. Makes you question how fresh the food is (ours did seem very fresh).

It was an OK place. The food was pretty good, as well as the Green Tea. It was quiet, as they didnt have any music playing. The portion where good for the Miso Ramen, but Ill definitely be ordering extra meat or eggs next time. Service time was as expected, I dont have any complaints.

I love the Shrimp Mayonnaise and the Yo Po Mian. The server made sure our drinks were top off and even offer to prepare a to go container for us. The Tonkotsu Ramen broth is the closest representation of the infamous Ippudo Ramen in Manhattan. Definitely will be coming back soon :)

No longer Oishi Noodles in this location. It is a different restaurant with the same signage, and the noodles (in two of three ramen dishes we ordered) tasted like they had come from a 99¢ packet. Really disappointing as this was our favorite ramen place.

Best ramen in the metro Atlanta area hands down. I have eaten at about 10 different restaurants that serve ramen and this was by far the best.

Its dead silent. Theres no music or people in there. Super awkward. The chicken was slimy and looked like old chewing gum. The broth was ok.
