This by far the worst Ramen EVER!!! The broth was greasy and extremely fatty!! The noodles was under cooked and the looked like Italian vermicelli pasta...NOT RAMEN NOODLES!!! The chicken was in chunks no flavor whatsoever it boiled to the point where it was gray!! There was no topping options for the ramen except spicy !! I paid $33.50...why...well the horrible ramen was $28.00 and the 12oz can of soda was $5.50...WHAT...thats INSANE!! I thought I was going to friggen puke if not from the smell of the broth(which by the way smelled like a pair of dirty panties that was worn for 6 months with out washing) than the taste of it !! I couldnt finish it !!! But I was polite to the nice..BUT..pushy woman and told her it was good!! She asked if I wanted to take the leftovers home..for what it was going to be throw it out !!! Please for Gods sake avoid this place like the Black Plague!! I went there on Saturday 2-22-17 around 6pm the place was EMPTY....I should of known then to turn around and leave but I thought I would give it a chance!! NEVER AGAIN!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I should of went to Walmart and a package of $.68 instant ramen noodles and would of made out a lot better!!!! Ok let me say this the restaurant on a whole was clean and you can see the head of the chef cooking that awful stuff!! I burnt my tongue on that nasty broth...who makes soup broth so hot that you have to sit there for like almost 10 minutes for it semi cool!!! ONCE AGAIN THIS PLACE FOR RAMEN IS AWFUL!!! DONT believe the people that gave this place 5 stars!! I have had way better ramen and a lot of money left over!!!

Ive never taken the time to google review a restaurant. The experience was so terrible I have to warn people. *** the menu and pricing has COMPLETELY changed from what is in the link above*** 1) The service was terrible. Never asked us if we wanted anything to drink, not even water. She also seemed bothered when I asked her for water! 2) It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. It was 88 degrees outside and inside felt about the same! 3) You cant order from more than half the menu because they no longer serve it.... Ever. 4) They didnt want to give us a to go container because we shared the ridiculously large soup and an order of gyoza between two people. 5) She tried to convince us to eat our food there by saying it wont be good later because the soup separates. If that is the case, their portion sizes make even less sense. 6) She reluctantly gives us containers and lets us know that the owner is very upset and that they should really charge us for two of everything.... The soup was $28 and the gyoza was $14 mind you! In summary, this place was ridiculously expensinve for what you get. Their logic makes no sense and they were extremely rude. We ordered two things for two people. I will never come back or recommend this place. Its a real shame because the food was actually quite tasty.

I used to love this place even though the staff was very cold. I didnt care about the bad service and sketchy cash only payment only because their ramen was better than most places in the area. First off, starting price for ramen is $28 which is absolutely ridiculous. Also, they always refuse to give you back change and last time I decided I will NEVER come back. We came with a friend and our bill came to $48 dollars and we left $70 (a $50 bill and $20) waiting for the server to come back with our $22 change so we could leave a tip and keep the rest. Probably about 15 minutes passed until we had to ask what was going on when the server looked at us like we were insane asking for change. She came back with just $5 and we told her no you need to give us at least $12 to make for a $10 tip (a bit over 20% tip which is generous considering there is barely any service). The waitress kept coming back at least 2-3 times with $5, $7, and then $10 at last. She REFUSED to give us the change we asked for and kicked us out of the restaurant after STEALING our money. DISGUSTING. Absolutely repulsive way to run any sort of business and we will never go back because were pretty sure this whack staff will spit in our food or some vile thing like that just because we exercised our right to get change back.

Lets be honest. $28 (+ tip) for a bowl of pork belly ramen? $18 (+ tip) for 12pcs of fast-food-ish dumpling? This place is def taking advantage of the lack of good asian restaurants in Miami. The portion of the ramen is actually too big. OK taste but never authentic. A bit too heavy but actually good broth quality. But that bowl is DEF not worth more than $10 (including tips) in my opinion. Those who say this is the best Ramen they have had in their lives probably havent been to more than 3 ramen restaurants. You can get the best ramen under $15 in anywhere else in big cities. "Ippudo" which I think is one of the top 3 ramen restaurants in the US doesnt even charge $15 for a bowl. I can maybe give 2.5 stars out of 5 for just food but considering its price madness, 1 out of 5 is very generous to be honest. They probably spent money on the interior to make the restaurant kinda authentic so they can set the price high, BUT, TOTAL FAILURE. They should drop prices of all foods at least 40% RIGHT NOW. But who knows? Maybe you should try here. (Only if you are looking for the best way to waste your money.) Fyi, cash only.

Lets get two things out of the way that several other reviewers complained about: This is not cheap ramen, but you get what you pay for. And Momi is cash only. I note these not as complaints, but merely as information. If you are used to store-bought instant ramen then you are in for a pleasant surprise because Momis ramen does not resemble that at all. Momi serves the real deal: deeply flavorful noodle soup with a silky broth. A $30 bowl easily feeds two, and contrary to what a couple other reviews said they are happy to give a single order in two bowls if you make it clear when you order that you plan to share. My favorite is the spicy shrimp kimchi ramen. It is not *too* spicy, though they can make it spicier on request or you can add hot sauce at the table. Momi has a decent selection of sake and bottled beer. The restaurant is casual and has sort of an industrial decor. The kitchen is directly adjacent to the dining room, separated by glass, and you can watch the chef preparing your meal if you wish.

This is my favorite ramen in all of California! I am never disappointed with what I order here. My favorite is the Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen with pork belly and a flavored egg. I always get medium spicy. It tastes absolutely amazing. The broth is deep, savory, and rich. I can slurp all the soup down to the bottle of the giant bowl. The noodles are perfectly prepared and sometimes I may even order extra noodles. And the pork belly - I dont even know what to say - it just makes the meal - delicious and melt in your mouth perfection. There are definitely other ramen shops that may compare to Momi Ramen, but none as delicious. What puts Momi Ramen at 5 stars for me is that they also have amazing appetizers and that theyre open very late on Friday and Saturday (for when Im craving late night ramen). Ill always return to Silverlake Ramen.
