Dont get me wrong - I love greasy spoon restaurants, but I swear they are all owned by the same family. This place has the same basic menu as Omega, Artemis, Springdale, Spring Garden, etc. All of the dinner specials come with a bread basket, soup or salad, and dessert, which is awesome. Very few restaurants will give you a bread basket anymore unless you beg for it. The service is usually good at these kinds of restaurants. However, the waitress we had was incredibly rude. It is hard for me not to judge a restaurant based on the server. She/he represents the restaurant while they are waiting on you. Since it was a Saturday evening, and was really busy, and she did get our order correct, I will give this place another chance. The food was pretty good, as it always is at these types of restaurants.

DELICIOUS! I dont know what those other people are talking about, Lifetime local here and I eat at Palatine Inn with family and friends at least twice - three times a month. And it is outstanding. Yes, it bares resemblance to the other greek diners in the area, so you know what youre getting at least but the quality and flavor of the food is wonderful. The place is always PACKED on weekends so know that! The service is very kind and helpful and they aim to please. Matza ball soup served daily is BEST IN TOWN. Wont go anywhere else when Im craving it. Sundays Cream of Chicken soup is TOP NOTCH. Never had a bad meal and Ive eaten quite a few different dishes.

Weve been going to the Palatine Inn for many years and have rarely been disappointed. The specials are great, especially the greek chicken and they have the best rice pudding Ive ever tasted. The atmosphere is friendly and staff is attentive. Family owned and operated, its a great place to spend time talking and enjoying a leisurely meal. I wasnt a fan of the salmon cakes, but I can honestly say thats the only thing I didnt like from the hundreds of meals weve eaten there.

Palatine Inn is our favorite go to restaurant. We have been going there for many years and Im happy to say it is wonderful. I have a daughter that loves liver and when she goes there you know its going to be liver with onions and bacon. And whenever my grandson goes its always rice pudding for dessert with whipped cream. The service is delightful and its a wonderful place to eat

Once youve tried the Greek Chicken with the Greek Salad, you will absolutely be back again and again. My wife and i are patrons of the Palatine Inn for well over a decade. We especially enjoy the Dinner Specials because it includes salad, main dish, and scrumptious cake (or a variety of other type of) desert. My personal favorite is the German Chocolate cake.

Great family owned restaurant with good pricing and great service. We particularly like coming here for breakfast where I usually get the Greek Omelette. For the price you definitely wont be disappointed and you will skip over the restaurant-chains type places to eat when for a couple dollars more you get fresher food, better staff and a nicer atmosphere.

2nd time in a month I gave this place a try... steak was ordered m.r. both times cooked well done!! $20.00 for a steak? From a coffeehouse?? I will never be back & I didnt even bother to call for a "free" reorder!!! If I give you $20.00.. give me what I asked for!!! Train the cooks!!!!!

Its a diner. Im not a huge fan of diners, but if you are, I think youll like this place a lot. Its been updated, and its very nice inside for a diner. Their food is good. I got pancakes with my omelette, and they were fantastic. Omer was good too. I would consider it a higher end diner.

Went for dinner with my wife and in-laws. Decently sized portions, but ordered $25 steak rare, but there was no pink inside whatsoever. Wife ordered duck with orange sauce that was almost unpalatably sweet. Server was not attentive at all. Probably wont give it another chance.

Food is very plain and overpriced for what it is. Waiters are either treated poorly or just bitter because every time I have been here they have been short or just plain rude. The saganaki is the only reason we come back once every other year, and its not even on the menu.....

Service is spotty at best, and the food is nothing special. They lost a longtime customer for good because they wanted to charge me for one little thing that costs less than say a couple wedges of lemon or a few napkins. Walked out, the first time Ive ever done that.

We have eaten here three times over the past 5 years, and its always the same, whether for breakfast or dinner - average food, but RUDE service (all the waitresses seem to be angry about something). There are much better family style restaurants in the area.

Love the soup especially on Wednesdays - Pea Soup - the omelette are large, tasty and satisfying. I like the spinach and feta - finally the grounds, i.e. their flowering gardens are gorgeous- Say no more!

Was OK, food came out rare, had to send back twice. Waitress talked for too long with other people for 6 minutes and forgot refills on the drinks. Rest of the food was great.

Good local place with Greek/diner type food. The thing I like the best is their house Greek salad dressing which is great on the Greek salad with grilled chicken.
