It was our last meal in KY before heading to the airport and back home to AZ and I am glad we picked this restaurant! The staff was amazing and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, even the sushi chefs asked us how our food was before we left and that was a first. We felt so comfortable and welcomed. As for the food, the selection was perfect they have everything! I was the only one out of the 3 of us who eats fish or any kind of seafood so having a hibachi and a large regular menu really sold us on this restaurant. I ordered the tuna tartar and the Hawaiian poke both were delicious and we received the tuna tataki on the house, I ended up enjoying that more than the tartar however all 3 were delicious lol we also got the gyoza and the chicken skewers also delicious. I ordered 2 rolls and 1 was wrapped in cucumber , I have never seen such intricate work on a cucumber roll it was perfection and the fish was super fresh! Hubby and mother in law loved the sesame and the shogun chichen and to top it all off we got the tempura ice cream on the house. Lets just say we walked out more than full and happy we will definitely be back next time we are in KY. Keep up the great work and amazing food!

Best sushi hands down in Lexington, KY. Its a small quiet place so at peak hours on a weekend you can expect a bit of a wait, however, it is definitely worth it. The customer service is top notch and they are always on their A game. I always order at least 5 or 6 specialty rolls of sushi and never have to wait more than 15 minutes for everything to be out. The wooden sushi boats they serve multiple orders of rolls on are super cool too! Hit this place up next time youre in town and want a nice dinner.

I havent been to every single sushi place in Lexington, but Ive been to most. Right now, this is my favorite. Ive never had a bad experience or a bad roll for that matter. Friendly service, and the most extensive menu of sushi options anywhere. The menu is almost too much to handle, its got so many great choices. They do close for a short period of time between lunch and dinner, so keep that in mind. But all in all, Id be surprised if the true sushi lover were disappointed here.

You will not find better sushi in Lexington. They can get pretty busy during lunch hours but the 2 roll lunch special makes it totally worth it. I work next door and have been eating there a couple times a week for a few months now... somehow still not tired of it yet. Very flavorful, masterfully prepared sushi. Vegetarians and vegans: I recommend the carrot cucumber roll w/ mango, the avocado peanut roll, and the sweet potato roll w/ carrot.

Pleasantly surprised. When we pulled up we werent sure what to expect, but we were both VERY happy with our food. I had Tempura shrimp roll and a Volcano roll, the wife had vegetable rolls, since she is a vegan. Food was great! Service was great! When we received our check it came with a "dessert" of sliced fresh pineapple free of charge!! Next time we come through Lexington, we will DEFINITELY be stopping by again!!!

Im from Louisville ky and came here because of there reviews thank goodness I did. This is the most awesome Japanese restaurant I have been to and I have been to many. The service was awesome. But the food was superb! The most fresh and well prepared food ever!! I will return even though its an hour or so drive. It is difinently my new favorite sushi place ever!!

I am sorry to say but the sushi that we received was just ok. We ordered 2 spicy salmon rolls - it was not spicy at all and the texture blend was very bland, we ordered smoked salmon roll and it was slightly better but there was just nothing about it that captured your taste buds. Just a so so experience and not one that would encourage us to come back for more.

Best sushi I have had in Lexington. Sometimes, but only when it is too busy, the service can be a little less than great and seating is limited. If the food wasnt so good, it wouldnt be that busy. Aura Shafer ... I suggest you try the Spicy Girl Roll. If you dont like the sushi here ... you just either dont like sushi or you dont know what good sushi is.

I absolutely love this place! We go there pretty often and the service is always amazing. The quality of their food is always fresh and at a decent price as well. I personally love the sexy salmon roll and recommend it for people who need any suggestions. The restaurant itself is a little small so expect a wait during peak hours, but its 100% worth it.

This is the best sushi restaurant I have been to in KY. The staff are very nice. We received great service all of the rolls were delicious. We had 7 different rolls we shared with each other to try and all were fresh, and good. We had the need and tuna tataki and it was great as well. I will return to this restaurant as soon as the opportunity arises.

SO GOOD! Took a chance on this place & it was great! A little out of the way, hidden gem. We had the lunch salmon hibachi (YUM) & a Beauty Roll -- my personal fav -- and a Rockin Salmon roll. Both were excellent. Well be back! And often....service was excellent as well. Knowledgable, nice, & they gave us a free ice cream dessert that was delicious!

I am in town to visit my girlfriend and we stopped by for sushi and this place is amazing. The sushi was very good and they have so many creative sushi specials and appetizers. I recommend the dinosaur egg. It was busy so they gave us free pineapple and fried ice cream. One of the best sushi places Ive ever been.

This is BY FAR my very favorite place in Lexington for great sushi! The Rockin Tuna Roll is out of this world!!! Plus, the service and attention is unlike any other Japanese restaurant in town... they make you feel as though youve known them forever! Definitely recommend!!!

Awesome place. Seems to be family run. Fresh food and smiling faces. We even got a free dessert for no reason (The fried ice cream was amazing too). Sushi or fresh,clean food...whatever you want you can get here. Best Asian cuisine in Lexington.

I love Unagi Nigiri and found them online with high reviews. The reviews were right, but not high enough. I would give them 6 stars if i could. Osaka is the very best sushi I have had. The sesame ahi tuna is delicious, so is the Unagi Nigiri.
