By far the worst Bonefish Grill I have ever been to. Keep in mind, Bonefish Grill has been one of my favorite restaurants for over ten years. I even worked at another location as a hostess in high school. Normally, the service is impeccable and the food is fantastic, but that was not the case this time. The service started out okay, the server seemed friendly enough. I was looking at the drink menu and was told it was not happy hour yet, but would I like to start with a water or a coke? I thought that was odd and ordered a drink, anyway. We ordered Bang Bang shrimp, a favorite of mine. Both myself and my boyfriend agreed it was simply, not hot. I normally dont send things back but since I never go to Bonefish anymore (there isnt one in the town I live in) I was really craving that warm crunch. After asking for a fresh one or for ours to be warmed, we were immediately brought another serving and asked to try it while the server was still present. Unfortunately, this one was not hot either. Instead of apologizing, our server informed us they come out and are tossed and served right away, and seemed to be implying we were not being truthful. I told him we had eaten it plenty of times before and I had worked at a Bonefish Grill, so I was familiar, but these were simply, not hot. We told him we would eat them anyway. I wasnt about to send them back a third time. After that disappointment, we got our bread. The server had already apologized there was no bread ready and we had to wait a few minutes for fresh bread, not a big deal. Our entrees came out next, even though I had ordered a salad. Still not a big deal. I ordered the tuna bowl, which was okay. The server realized I didnt have my salad and brought one out. My boyfriend LOVED his meal, which was the saving grace of the experience. (Although he said the truffle macncheese was a disappointment.) He ordered a glass of wine which had more than a piece of...something...in it. We both agreed it may have been cork but it also may have been food and we couldnt be sure, so he asked for a fresh glass. We have been out to eat together hundreds of times. We get a lot of bad service because we are young, which makes the great places where service is exceptional a treat for us. We are both servers. We have never, until yesterday had to send ANYTHING back. We are also quite friendly, and despite these problems were still pleasant to our server, who was really, kind of...not. We paid our bill and moved to the bar to enjoy another drink. After about twenty or thirty minutes we were outside smoking a cigarette when our original server came out and gave us some kind of attitude about how he forgot to charge us for our drinks we were drinking. We were confused, because my boyfriend had bought his glass of wine at the bar, and we were unaware we had not been charged. There was something indescribable about the type of rude our server was about the whole situation, but he came running out with the original check we had paid and told us "This is what you paid for." I asked if we needed to pay for our drinks. (Even though it was thirty minutes later and it really was kind of his mistake.) He said yes. But never presented us with a check for the additional drinks. My normally calm boyfriend was pretty angry by this point, mainly because of the servers poor attitude towards us. He went inside, tracked the server down, paid our remaining bill, which was quoted to him verbally and, still, never presented to us, and we left. I wanted to add the manager did come out with our second glass of wine and introduced himself if we needed anything else. The meal was okay, we werent trying to complain, but after the rudeness of the server I just couldnt hold it in. Not to mention, my birthday is this week, and this was supposed to be a little celebration for us. I will definitely not be back to this location again.

Ive been coming to this location for over 5 years now, our experience this time was horrible to say the least. I was sitting at the high top tables near the kitchen where you can see and hear everything. I never got menus or silverware until asking our server several times. Not only was there loud music blaring in the restaurant, I could barley speak to my husband, but there was rap music blaring in the kitchen as well. I tried my hardest not to complain because that is not the type of person I am but when I finally did....after 45 min of waiting to speak to a manager, John OBrien acted like he did not even care, and looked like he was on drugs, he had little to say to help us even enjoy the rest of our COLD meal. The staff, management and bar staff, has completely changed for the worst. Less then a year ago my husband and I would only sit at the bar because the bar staff was incredible. So attentive and enjoyable every time we would sit at the bar. Ty, Kristina (I believe her name was) and Costco treated us like family. Even then the management was awful, we once heard a manager cussing at an employee in the bar area for everyone to hear, I actually felt bad for the server who walked away crying. But now we will never return. Ive had multiple friends tell me similar horrific experiences, I dont know what the goal is or change is but its not working bonefish. Get it together.

My first time at a Bonefish Grill was at Wesley Chapel, Fla. Since it isnt inexpensive, I expected great food. I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the jasmine rice. What a sticky glob. It was worse than a bad Chinese food white rice. I ordered my fish, which was fine, with "oscar," which is crab. I received my fish with five dots of crab thrown over and a couple of hard-as-a rock pieces of asparagus, much harder than al dente. They did replace the rice with au gratin potatoes. The waitress did not come back to check on the food after serving, we had to flag her down. After the rice, she made herself scarce. The manager showed up with more white , sticky, glutenous rice and tried to get me to take it. I had said didnt want it. She tried to insist. What kind of "fine dining" experience was this? Ive had better food at a local bar. I was taking my family out as I was visiting them. It was terrible and ruined the evening. Their "fix" was to hand me a card for some free appetizer. As if I would ever be back. For $77 for three dinners, I expected more and a more polished wait staff and management. One star in my opinion .

Horrible service!! We were seated and within 5 mins she took our drink & appetizer order. When appetizer came out we continued to wait another 20mins for her to take our dinner order. Once ordered it took close to an order to get our food which at that point we were irritated over the wait and the lack of service we were getting. Finally a waiter came to bring what we thought was our dinner, was not. Then my husband went to waiter(not our own) to advise to make sure to pack up our order once they figure out where its at. We waited....and then the manager of the Sunday night shift came out to ask why we wanted our dinner packed up and we explained to him and he just walked away and about another 10mins later our waitress brings out the tab and our food. She apologizes and by the tone of her voice it was not sincere. Im glad this time we didnt come to eat for a special event because this was absolutely the worst experience we have had!! We definitely will not dine here again, nor will consider this place for any special event going forward.
