My sister and I have been to this bar many times to get cheap drinks and listen to music. Tonight I was very disappointed. My sister and I each ordered a drink (sex on the beach and a margarita) to start off. When the bartender brought us our first receipt, it said margarita $2.00. Since it was 5:00 I thought "Wow! Great Happy Hour special!" (since the Mexican resturant by my house serves $2.99 margaritas on a daily basis). My sister and I decided to stay here and keep drinking the cheap margaritas. With each drink we ordered, the bartender would bring us a new bill saying $2.00 per margarita. Finally, it was time to cash out. I asked for the final receipt and it stated $6.00 per margarita totaling $30.00 for 5 of them. I brought this to the bartenders attention and she told me I was "reading it wrong" the whole time. After asking for a second time, the bartender immediately called the manager. The manager was very quick to give me one margarita for free and mentioned the system messed up. At first this seemed reasonable but I still had questions about the price . Needless to say, I asked for the manager and she asked me "How drunk I was prior to coming to this bar" since I could not understand what she was saying and also that she could not comprehend the words coming out of my mouth. I then proceed to mention that it was HER computer, not me, who initially made the mistake. Then, the owner came up to me and told me how "ridiculous" it was to think a margarita could actually be $2.00. I felt the way these two talked to me was very inappropriate. I kept trying to explain my side until the owner asked "Do you even know simple addition?". Long story short, after this point she kept threatening to call the police and would NEVER give me back my original receipt with the $2.00 margaritas to prove my case. I ended up being the bigger person and paid BUT the staff was VERY RUDE. I am all for local businesses but my family, friends and co-workers will never go back to The Dug Out.

I was looking forward to eating at The Dugout and was surprised how good my time there was. I ate a burger and some onion rings. Both were really good and the ingredients were fresh. Also, Sam at the bar was really helpful and attentive. The beer selection was excellent and there was a special sale of a couple of beers. I will definitely be back and strongly recommend visiting and eating at The Dugout.

The Dugout is a spacious bar and grill in the middle of Historic main Hendersonville. It has fresh, delicious food and a good variety of both classic beers and locally brewed beers, along with live entertainment. We loved it!

Worst service ever. If you would call it service. Waited 45 minutes and never even got to order. Even asked waiter to order and was still forced to wait longer. He never came to take the order. Left the restaurant

Bar tender was on something couldnt even comprehend what was going on.. Food was ok.. Last time I was there lacey was great this time she was not on her game at all. Looks like she needs rehab

Great Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries.Make sure you add the blue cheese if you like blue cheese. Sam and the Cook are friendly and helpful plus its clean.lots of draft beers.

Great food! Onion rings are a MUST!!! Good prices. Sports pub atmosphere. They have a bar as well as some seating out on the sidewalk. One of my favorite eateries in Hendo.
