Haywood Grill joins the ranks of one of the best places Ive eaten since moving to Greenville. Situated in a strip mall near the Haywood Mall, you would be remiss to judge this restaurant by its exterior. The inside is stunning. Rich-feeling, spacious, and the wait staff is neatly dressed. Appearances matter here, and it feels like the kind of place you want to be a little dressed up for. Every dining experience starts with a first impression and our server made a great one. Friendly, knowledgeable and eager to offer suggestions, she remained attentive and helpful throughout. The meal starts with bread and olives, a fine starter but nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, which we enjoyed, and the special appetizer, which was heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella with balsamic dressing. My husband ordered a NY strip steak, medium, and it was cooked perfectly. It was a thick cut of steak, which you can see in my pictures, and lean for a NY strip. Well-seasoned. Spot on. The mushroom ravioli (which Im a connoisseur of) is among the best Ive ever had. The bit of crisp pancetta on top really makes the dish. The sauce is thick, creamy and delicious. The strawberry shortcake is amazing. Tart, and with a hint of something I cant put my finger on that seems unique to their strawberry recipe. The cream was delicious. I ate every bite (well, all but the few my husband stole and he doesnt normally eat dessert). We were visited briefly by staff who made sure food was all to our liking. Haywood Grill wants you to be happy, and we were. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

I NEVER rate or post reviews for anything but I must for this establishment. My cousins wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 guests was held here on Friday, July 7. From the service, to the atmosphere, food and location EVERYTHING about Haywood Grill was (IS) superb!! Fortunately for the other patrons, we had our own private room because we were a noisy and rowdy group. The greeters, managers and wait-staff were some of the friendliest, most patient and most professional I have ever encountered. Our servers -- Dan, Jason and Nicole -- were phenomenal(!) and somehow managed to give each of us personal service with heartfelt smiles, laughter and conversation. The food was deeeeelicious. (And we are picky food connisures.) For appetizers, we had the onion rings and the spinach/ artichoke dip. For dinner, I had grilled Atlantic Salmon with sauteed greenbeans, roasted potatoes and squash casserole. I will definitely return to Haywood Grill and recommend it to all.

Next to Augusta Grill the Haywood Grill is one of Greenvilles best kept secrets. Incredibly friendly wait staff and the food is fantastic. The menu has a good variety of signature dishes. It also blends in specials and variations of some dishes week to week. A must try! You wont be disappointed and if you are, you can tell the owners because you are sure to be greeted by one of them throughout the night. Lastly dont forget the dessert. They are all made from scratch by Greenvilles best pastry chef Mrs. Cynthia!

Had the brunch buffet with my wife and two boys. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic! Im looking forward to revisiting with just my wife to enjoy the atmosphere in a more grown up fashion.

The visit I had the entree I ordered from their signature dishes was terrible. Overcooked and dry and badly seasoned.dont recommend foe the money.
