Usually very good however tonight. Monday night, I ordered carry out. The polenta was poorly prepared and had apparently been spooned into the container with an extremely modest layer of watered down gorgonzola. Makes me wonder if it was fresh or if it had just been assembled from leftovers. The carbonara was very sticky and cold on the bottom where it was clumped togrther. Was there bacon in it? I sure couldnt find much to speak of. It was obviously NOT freshly prepared. Im truly very disappointed. Shame on you guys for allowing food like that to leave the kitchen. I guess since I wasnt going to see it until I got home, there was little need for care, concern and quality control.

Our family just moved to El Paso and my husband and I were wanting to spend heavily, eat some great tasting Italian Food and stuff our faces. We came here because it had some pretty good reviews and WOW! The service was impeccable, I wish I could remember our servers name but he was so awesome, professional, great manners. He made us feel like we were eating in a 5 Star formal restaurant, which helped distract from the fact that it was wayyyy too hot in there. However, as a great server, he did ask them to turn up the AC, and by the time we were done with our meal it had cooled off substantially. Great experience here, we highly recommend it and we will definitely be returning.

My boyfriend and I visited this place for the first time and we absolutely loved it. He ordered the Manicotti and I ordered the Lasagna. He loved the Manicotti and my Lasagna was perfect. The sauce was tasty and the pasta was well cooked. I also really enjoyed their raspberry tea. Im impressed with their customer service. Our waiter was very nice and informative when it came to their menu. Since it was our first time coming here, he was patient with us as we decided what to get to eat. We are definitely visiting this place again. My boyfriend is in the Navy and he plans on eating here for his going away party. That says a lot!!

This has been the best Italian food experience in El Paso yet. Coming from New Jersey, where there is no lack of good Italian, I had no luck finding any here...until now. Starting off, the bread was not much to rave about tasted like pre- packaged Hawaiian sweet rolls served with garlic and oil. We ordered the Fried Calamari which was made exactly like it should. The outside crispy and the meat tender and not chewy. Served with a side of red sauce. For our entrees we ordered the Veal Saltimbocca and Pasta with Sausage. Everything was perfect! If you are looking for good Italian, GO HERE..Service was great as well

This is the norm for most chain owned Italian restaurants (Olive Garden, carinos....) over sauced. I ordered a simple Pasta Carbonara, what I received was what tasted like a Mac and cheese pasta with bacon(yuck). I also ordered bruschetta. I received a bowl of soupy tomatoes(with oregano and some vinegar) toasted bread on the side. I know from experience that this is NOT the way Italians prepare a simple pasta dish. Every trattoria , osteria or ristorante, knows how to prepare this very simple dish. Maybe the owner should take a trip to Italy and visit a few as I do every year.

Weve eaten here a few times, and the food and service is always amazing. However we just order food for pick up (my wife just had surgery) and after we got home we realized we were missing our soups. Its a little more upsetting because i even tipped just for a pick up order. *update. Im not sure if management read my review or just realized we were missing food. However, they promptly called and offered an apology. They even went as far as to refund our meal. Although it was unnecessary, my wife and I are very thankful for the call back and the refund!

Went there for the first time today with my family. Had the lobster brisk soup, lobster, tenderloin medallions with asparagus and sampler dessert plate. WoW! Delicious. Just delicious. Tender, cooked to perfection. Our server Travis, was also excellent. Very attentive, professional, and you could tell that he had a true passion for his profession. He was masterful and really added to the ambience and the overall experience. My cup was filled every few minutes without asking. It was just a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

The food was excellent. The homemade gnocchi was perfect as was the ravioli. The marinara was spiced just to my liking. Not too much, not too little. The Caprese salad again, just right. The tomatoes nicely ripened. The balsamic vinegar was thick, aromatic and delicious. Our waiter Travis was the height of professionalism. Could have not asked for a more attentive yet unobtrusive person to take care of us. Dont let the unassuming appearance of the outside of Bella Sera deter you from having a thoroughly enjoyable Italian cuisine experience.

I ordered the Bolognese and all it was, was spaghetti with meat sauce and thats it none of this food served here is authentic Italian not even close to basic Italian I cant understand why I saw all the good post of this place I can tell you for sure as a New Yorker who is gone to some great Italian restaurants and having my family being part Italian dont waste your time going to this place you will be severely disappointed and I felt disappointed and shameful that I brought my girlfriend to this place

my sister took me to this hidden treasure for my belated birthday for the 1st time and I was pleasantly surprised. superb service, Crystal was our waitress. I had the chefs special which consisted of a baby spinach salad, sirloin w/ mushrooms & asparagus, and dessert. even though I was full, I could not stop eating. finally asked for a to-go box for 1/2 of my dessert. forgot my dessert and a waiter ran out to the parking lot to give it to me. thank you!!! cant wait to go back soon !!!

Great vegetarian and vegan options. This place is a very unique dining experience for El Paso. I say this because it is a privately owned restaurant that serves great food in a city filled with corporate chain restaurants serving slop. Great place to bring out of towners. Generally the food and service is very good, it just seems that sometimes the staff has an off day and it hurts the overall experience. That is the only issue I have which is why I have rated this 4 stars.

My rating is more like 3.5. The place is cozy dimly lit but not really a romantic place. Fair wine selection at affordable prices plus BYOB for an uncorking fee. Onto the food, I got to try several items of their extensive menu. A variety of not and miss for me. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious. the white wine cream sauce used for some of the plates was not thick enough and maybe a little bland. Overall a decent place for Italian food but not my new El Paso favorite.

I had never been to this place even though Ive seen it for many years. The outside does not look as welcoming as it actually is. Once inside it is very cozy and the staff is amazingly friendly. They are very helpful in deciding and choosing what to get, they will answer any and all questions. The food itself is amazing and you will definitely get a bang for your buck. Make sure to ask your waiter about portion size because some dishes are enormous.
