My husband and I are visiting from the New Jersey- Pennsylvania area. We were initially looking for just a couple pieces of chicken and I saw the reviews for this place. We ate here on Tuesday 6.9.15. The cashier kinda persuaded me to get the meal vs just the chicken so I did b/c the price for the meal was just a little higher. oh until they added the tax! Also, I should have stuck with just the chicken. The sides for the meal consisted of a half hand full of fries, maybe 1 small teaspoons of watered down, no real cheese, mac and cheese and I was REALLY displeased with the lack of taste amongst the sides portions. The chicken however, was delicious. Just stick with the chicken at this place, everything else SUCKS, plus theyre OVERPRICED!

We come to Myrtle Beach every summer and have been eating here for years. The food is always fresh hot and good. I do not know what the other people are talking about. The sides are good the macaroni and cheese is good the macaroni salad is good, all of the food we have had here is good, the service is fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a good dinner. If you cant afford to eat at Maryland Fried Chicken, you just cant afford to eat out. As I said the prices are very fair.

Mashed Potato side consisted of less than 2 table spoons of instant mashed potatoes with canned gravy and the Side of Cole slaw was also very small. Ask for butter for the roll and no butter or spread was available as the establishment carried no condiment for the roll. The Chicken was pressure fried chicken but had the taste that the oil it was fried in was old. It made me ill on the walk back to our hotel. Really bad choice to eat here,

We were with a group of eight. The chicken and all of the sides were very good and freshly cooked. The hush puppies were the best Ive ever had!! However the place was very dirty and I had to ask someone behind the counter twice to wipe off our tables. There was trash on the floor and the floor had a spilled drink. It was very busy though, so that speaks volumes about the food!

Been eating here for 20 years always had .more food then I eat and took rest home this food is good its a shame they closed the one in Surfside Beach and will continue to eat here and as far as bugs I seen but at other fast food restaurants well know anywhere you have food you have bugs people are stupid for posting stupid stuff and as far as portions you get way more then enough

Fake a$$ Maryland fried chicken, no way near like the one in Augusta Georgia, chicken extra crispy (not like the real Maryland) ordered a 9 piece and got 7,then Im thinking Im getting the original biscuits... We got regular rolls, Maryland take ur name off that piece of $hi# chicken shack, they fake, never again yall got that

Fish and chicken was cooked right. But the side dishes seemed to lack the same style of cooking. Matter a fact they where only warmed over for the baked beans. They where straight out of the can. Placed in a oven and served warm. I order a pork chop and got a pork steak. Make sure you check your food before you leave.

2 pc chicken dinner, 2 pc fish dinner (both with sides) and a hamburger was only $12! The food was terrific and a great value for the money. There are too many overpriced places to spend your money at so getting good quality food for this price was a winner for me.

This place should be shut down by the health department. We reported seeing multiple rodents and bugs and other pests near their outhouse like kitchen area. Management/owner was very rude. I would never ever go back. Stay away! Zero out of five stars.

Good Fried Chicken, I like Chicken gizzards and they serve them. Restaurant is not trying to be anything but a good chicken joint, and it passes, I eat lunch there a couple of times a month.
