Absolutely horrific attitude from staff and owner! After taking a bite of my chile relleno, I had something sharp stuck in the side of my mouth. I reached in and pulled out a piece of wood that was placed inside my food. I quietly told the waitress and she took mine and my wifes plate away promptly. I understand things happen and I was ok with it, but thats not the end. As I sat there catching blood from my mouth with a napkin, the waitress brings our check for the full amount!! She says she spoke with the manager and I could have a free entree on my next visit. My wife and I are hungry now and would like some food!! I realized the waitress and manager obviously didnt care, so I paid the bill and left. (Yes, I even left a tip.) I decided to contact the owners because I was sure they would care about what happened. They didnt seem to care either!! By the way, we spent $35 in their restaurant. Heres the response from the owner. Thank you for understanding, We will be glad to offer you and your wife a gift card for $25.00 dollars to make up for the check you paid. that will cover a meal and a soft drink. By law we are not allowed to give free alcohol drinks in any way. We hope to serve you in a near future. and thank you once again... you have a wonderful afternoon.

Chips with salsa and refried beans (yes, the chips come with refried beans) arrive as you sit down. Guacamole made to perfection at your tableside. If that hasnt tickled your fancy yet, how about some succulent enchiladas filled with chicken and peppers and generously topped with cheese and tomatillo sauce? Shortness of breath sets in as you consume chip after chip because you want to fill your soul with guac (and happiness)...Satisfaction and content are the next emotions to follow. Each bite takes you to a magical land of Mexican goodness. In short, go here.

Excellent tex mex restaurant. My favorite in this area. The complimentary chips and bean dip are awesome plus they have a free salsa bar with 6 different salsas including pico de gallo. I usually order the California burrito which has shrimp and crab. They put green olives in it which to me, over powers the burrito so i always order with no olives. It says nothing about the olives on the menu, but now you know! It comes with guac, grilled veggies, and a fruit cup. My wife orders the pollo com crema and says it is one of the best shes had.

I was dining after work with some of my coworkers. We ladies were very polite, not loud, just having a nice visit. Within 15 mintues after our meal and the check had been brought, we were asked to leave because they "needed the table". We got up right away and noticed that at least five tables were empty and noone was waiting to be seated. This was xtremely rude. The food was good, we were having a nice time, but I wont be back. Too bad...

Absolutely terrible. The most overpriced food I have ever seen. The good is absolute garbage. I ordered a quesadilla with ONLY chicken and cheese (I told the person taking our order only chicken and cheese), and they put about everything they probably had on the quesadilla instead of anything I wanted. I would rather be tortured by the CIA instead of going to this terrible restraint ever again.

Anything off the menu is flavorful and amazing! Service is excellent and so are the drinks! We drive all the way from Columbia just to get away and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and overall satisfying dining experience. Definitely my favorite mexican food restaurant in the area - - even beats out Papas and Beer (which is difficult to do). You HAVE to try the tableside guacamole, and if the weather is nice, dont hesitate to ask to eat out on the patio...its so lovely out there! Amazing food, beautiful establishment, and always excellent service.

Excellent! Had lunch there for the first time today. Carnitas was teriffic! Came with tortillas, chips, sour cream, several kinds of salsa and guac, all great. Service was friendly and surprisingly fast. Very reasonable prices. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!

We had only ever gone to Papas and Beer in HVL. Sol Y Luna was sooo much better and so much more inviting. We really enjoyed the decor and look forward to having margaritas on the patio. The food was great the chicken tortilla soup was lovely.

I love this place! Ive been here many times, I always try something deferent. They let dogs into the large back patio, Great happy service, but most of all the food is amazing. I plan on coming back again and again.

very bad experience, they charged us $7 for takeout guacamole that they didnt give us, when we went back and told them, the mgr was very insulting and threatening and accused us of lying. will never go there again.

The food and service is ALWAYS excellent. Without exception. This isnt the typical Mexican slop passed off as good food. Flautas, Warm fajita salad, enchiladas...its all good.
