excellent food, great service, interesting atmosphere. the antipasto is so good i ended up eating mostly that and only half the entree (veal parm, also excellent, and reasonably priced). soups are excellent as well. decent beer selection, although i wish they would stock some more local delaware brews, like 16 mile. but i can live with heinekens, i guess! and yes, the other half of the veal parm went home with us, and was quite good for lunch the next day. linguine with clam sauce also excellent, both red and white.

had the trio appetizer, mozz. fritta, bruschetta, and calamari..... all very well done, calamari was nicely, lightly breaded. The eggplant rollatini was very good. I ordered the seafood fra diavolo with red sauce, kitchen sent it out with white..... server was very apologetic and professional in handling the problem, was resolved VERY quickly and the manager comped us a desert for our 5 minute wait. I would like to see a little larger beer menu, but we will definitely be back!

Very laid-back atmosphere. Nice waitstaff and very accommodating to our parents who need some assistance getting around. The wife and I both had grilled chicken Caesar salads. I ordered mine with added shrimp (plentiful portion and quite honestly some of the tastiest Ive had out in quite a while. Nice addition for only $6 more). The complementary bread knots with garlic and oil were a nice touch (and quite addicting). Good stuff!

I recently had my wedding reception dinner at this restaurant and when I say they went above and beyond for my husband and I, and all of our guests they did just that. I cant express how kind, courteous and wonderful the staff was. Our server was Lisa and she was so sweet, she treated us all like family. The owner and manager are so kind and the food was to die for. Overall I will recommend Piazza Mia to any and everyone! EXCELLENT!!

The service was good and the decor is nice. The food was not what I was expecting when I ordered it. It said it was coming with Marsala sauce and it came with a gravy sauce I would serve with Thanksgiving dinner. Coming from an Italian family I do know the difference. My first time there now is my last time there.

Great food and outstanding service! Weve eaten here a few times, and each time has been amazing. The food is prepared fresh and offers a unique mix of traditional Italian fare. The serving staff is exceptional, and with little turnover they really know the menu and clientele.

My husband and I go there at least once a month! Its a great family restaurant and a great place to go for date night! The staff is so friendly and fast! I havent had a meal there that I didnt like! If you like Italian food you have to try this place!

Food is consistently good. Also, very clean front and back of house. Managers and servers are friendly. Try the Pan Seared Scallops with Risotto or the Seafood Primavera. Delicious! Great pizzas too...especially the Bianca and Toscana!
