Im at Sawa right now - because they have internet access I can leave this review. Ive been here a few times for lunch and now here at Happy Hour in which the prices are great. The service has always been excellent - the owner or person in charge always comes over to say "Hello". Ryan, the bartender is excellent - this is the second time he has waited on me. The food is great. Tuna rolls are mostly tuna and not a lot of rice on the outside. Ive been to Japan and Asia and this is great. Im having their crabmeat salad - yum! Pricing is great too - I cant say enough about them. They are located where Stop & Shop is in Shrewsbury on Route 9, therefore, plenty of parking. Oh, great bar - I always eat at a bar - you get waited on right way.

First time here last night- my boyfriend brought me because he said it was the cleanest place around for hibachi. He was totally right. the service was awesome and our chef was incredible and so skilled. will be going back. the sushi was perfect and i was in awe with the quality of the food. we mentioned that my birthday was the day before and the waitress came out with a complimentary ice cream with a candle in it to surprise us. Had an amazing time and i will be a repeat customer!

Our experience was a good one: friendly wait staff, quiet ambiance (we went at a low traffic time which is what we prefer), really great presentation and delicious food. Allie, our server, was friendly and prompt. We ordered the blue crab quesadilla (delicious), rock shrimp (delicious), grilled calamari (delicious), and then three dinners. It was a nice dinner out for three adults. A touch pricey, but I felt it was worth it!

Best Sushi/Chinese Dinner Ive had! 1. Food is top-tier;looks magnificent, tastes better. 2. Well spoken, easily understandable staff. 3. Very cool interior, has a nice clean patio for nice days. 4. Decent prices, nothing outlandish. But given the quality and amount of food with every order, well worth the price. (Try the crab Rangoon, very nice app)

I didnt like the service I got Groupon discounted ... i felt like if is regular customer i would of had more food. for example we are four of us it should be small 4 bowls of rice... the rice wants enough ... because discounted groupon there wasnt enough food........i felt so cheap

Went for the lunch special, very reasonably priced for sushi and the presentation if the food was good and delicious. The service was good and there was a painting event going on that we watched which kept us entertained. I would definitely recommend for another lunch experience.

Nice Japanese hibachi experience with an entertaining chef. However, it wasnt worth the price as it was too expensive and the chicken that the chef cooked on the hibachi was a little too overcooked. If you want a $70 bill, come to this place as it is a one time hit or miss place

Good Sushi and hibachi cookings. I had the filet mignon with chicken and my spouse had steak and chicken. All was very flavorful with plenty of food to fill my belly. Nice atmosphere and service.

Went for sushi. The sushi was poorly wrapped and the overall flavor was lacking. The room was also very cold and the waitress didnt refill our glasses of water once. Would not recommend.
