SERVICE SUCK, FOOD OK NOT THAT GREAT, TOO EXPENSIVE, FALSE ADVERTISED FOR $ RESTAURANT, NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!! Awful! if there is a zero star, this restaurant will deserve it! Im not sure why other would give ita 4 stars, may be just their friends and family. We chose this restaurant because it was shown at 4 start and the cost was 1 $ meaning reasonable. We had bad experience from the beginning to the end! First, we stood there really long before anyone greet us, then when we sat down they ignored forever! There was a couple AFTER us, got served B4 us! Only because that couple was Asian (may be their friends???) We ordered 2 dishes later, then brought out 1 dish with out rice and side dishes, then 10mins later they brought out rice n side dishes We had to share that dish and were almost done but the 2nd dish was still not out!!! We asked to replenish some of the side dishes, NEVER HAPPENED! We asked for more rice, the charge extra, and btw all the food there $4 or $5 MORE than other Korean restaurants! Taste is ok, nothing extraordinary than other surrounding Korean restaurant. Any time we wanted something, I have to literally walk to the kitchen and asked for it or we would never be served. Finally I had to walk to kitchen ask for carry out boxes and check (since by the time they brought the 2nd dish out which is 30mins , we already full by eating 1 dish n rice n side dishes). They brought the carry out box out but told us to go to counter to check out while we saw the ppl around out were given check at the table! There were only 2 girls in our whole area. I felt bad for them, I think this is the reason why the service was soooooo bad because the owner must be greedy only hire very little help. This restaurant may have been voted for a good restaurant at one time but because of that many people go there, they expand their areas but too greedy to hire more help. Again food is WAY EXPENSIVE, which false advertise for $ type of restaurant!!! I usually dont waste my energy on writing review but it is soooo bad that I really dont want it continue to be 4 stars, advertised $ restaurant and mislead other people like they misled us!!!

Alright, Im going to do my absolute best to describe this restaurant based on my experience and I am not going to sugarcoat it. As a Korean, I cant compare this place to an authentic Korean restaurant literally in Korea. Thats just not going to happen and you should know that. You wont be having a high expectation for a gourmet and authentic burger from places where burgers arent common right? Sa Ri One is like that kind of place, but with a lot higher expectation than I originally anticipated. When I first walked in to Sa Ri One, my first impression was, "well, I bet its just going to be another ordinary whatever Korean food restaurant where I can get a decent Korean food." Well, on that part, I was wrong. Their food is actually pretty dxxx good. I dont cover things up and I like to tell the truth to people about the restaurants and their food. I have tried most of their food and so far, I dont have any complaint. The only draw back is that the place is a bit small inside, but has plenty of parking spaces. The service can be a bit slow when its really busy, but I wont blame that to the waitresses or employees. I always see the servers working their axxes off, constantly on their feet going back and forth carrying side dishes and food to the tables. I always left more than %20 gratuity for their hard work for taking care of me. If you like Korean food or you never tried Korean food in your life, this would be a good start and you have my word you wont be disappointed. Well, if you get disappointed because Korean food doesnt fit your taste bud, you cant blame me for that.

My husband and I just got back from a year long stay in South Korea and were really craving some Korean food. We found it here! Not only was it completely authentic, but we got the real Korean experience too. Ive read some reviews that said the service wasnt that great. I have a feeling its because they didnt realize what the button on the table was for. Just press it and a very sweet waitress is right at your table to assist you with in seconds! This is the norm in Korea. Its awesome and is far more efficient than having to flag down your server when you get lucky enough for them to walk by like youd have to in an American place. The food was spectacular! The banchan tasted like it has been teleported directly from our favorite restaurant across the Pacific. My husband got bibim nangmyeon which is cold arrowroot noodles, a boiled egg, assorted vegetables, and gochujang. Youre also given an icy bowl of broth to either sip on or pour over the dish to make mul nangmyeon. I got the jam bong which is a spicy seafood soup with LOTS of noodles. Think: about as big as your head. Its a little bit bigger than that. We also got their pork mandu and Hite (because what else could go better with Korean food than Korean beer?). In short: The restaurant looks, smells, feels, tastes, and sounds like it was born in Korea and transplanted here. Its absolute perfection.

Sa Ri One, you are lucky. Your bulgogi is as good as anywhere Ive eaten, which is to say its delicious, but not necessarily memorable. The same goes for your galbi and your bi bim bop. For those of you who never got past early childhood trauma related to seeing your food touch they serve some of the staples in "lunch boxes," which throw assorted goodies into the mix with a slightly smaller helping of the actual food you ordered than the equivalent items on the dinner menu. If there was a low note to Sa Ri One besides its general ordinariness was the lack of a convincing hot sauce. No offense to my peeps, but I think white people made the hot sauce here. Im not a spicy food person, so I usually say a prayer for my taste buds and write an impromptu will every time I use the spicy sauce at a Korean restaurant. I was very disappointed that my mouth does not hate me now. Why go to a Korean restaurant if you cant experience the joy of reminding your tongue who the boss is? In New York or Los Angeles this would be a three star restaurant, no question about it. The staff is pleasant, the decor is nice, and there was no wait during lunch (recession?). Since this is pretty much the only game in town when it comes to South Tampan Korean food, they get an extra star. If you want good Korean food go here. If you want great Korean food, leave Tampa.

My wife and daughter are both Korean (therefore they are very particular about Korean food). When I enter the restaurant I feel like I am back in Seoul. The food is outstanding, they even have a dish that I love, even though I dont care for squid. The staff has always been very good and attentive. Customers have to understand that it is a very popular restaurant and that they, like my family and I, are not the only customers in the restaurant. The price is very reasonable especially for the amount of food you receive. They also have Hite and Soju. We have to travel a good distance to visit this lil gem because we do not live in Tampa. We may have to travel 30 to 60 minutes for dinner at Sa Ri One depending on whether we are at home or at church. Most of our visits are for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and other such occasions or holidays with family and friends. This is a wonderful restaurant in Tampa and the Tampa Bay area.
