Amazing Korean BBq experience. Food tastes great. Prices are high but the quantity is huge, so I would recommend only going if you have a group of 4-5 people. that way you can also sample more food. I went their along with 4 friends. The five of us feasted on their Kimchi Jeon (Kimchi Pancake), Haemul Pajeon (seafood Pancake), Teriyaki Dubu (sauteed tofu and vegies), Gogooryo Combination (different cuts of beef) BBQ, Maewun Dwaeji Bulgogi (grilled Pork). The food came along with the regular condiments and side dishes including salads, spiced cabbage, fish cakes, spiced cucumber, sweet potato, tofu soup, egg, sesame sauce, some sauces for the Pancakes, some sauces for the meat, we also got ginger tea at the end of our meal. The price for all this (split 5 ways) came out to $37/- per person, which may seem like a lot, but you dont eat (or rather feast) like this everyday. (At least I dont). It was worth the taste, and quantity of the food served to us, as well as the hospitable nature of the stewardess who took care of our table. She personally did all the BBQing on our tables grill and made sure we knew which condiments go with which food. Parking may be difficult as the lot is not quit big and there are a few competitive Korean restaurants in the vicinity (Korea Town). Overall, a great new find, great place to take friends (once in a while). An absolute gastronomical delight. NOTE: of all the Korean restaurants in the area, it is very difficult to find vegetarian options, but this place has 4 vegetarian dishes as well.

Maybe the owner is tied up in the basement. Thats the only explanation I can come up with for this restaurant having gotten so many stars in the past. My experience this afternoon was dreadful. The quality of this restaurants signature bulgogi was so tasteless, that even my malamute, Shadow, would have sniffed it and walked away. The side dishes were equally listless, as though they had been lying in the back of the refrigerator for weeks. The bill came to more than twice the price of the dishes listed on the menu. When my husband asked for an explanation, the waiter mumbled something to the effect, that he wasnt trying to mislead us, but . . . the price doubles in the evenings, although the listed price was not identified as a lunch menu. We had chosen the barbecue menu so that our son would have the experience of having his food cooked at the table. But that didnt happen. When we asked why, we were told that the bulgogi is listed on the barbecue menu but is prepared in the kitchen. We had such high expectations. But this turned out to be a miserable dining experience.

The food was good. The place was clean. The service was horrible. Not only did they take for ever to get me a second drink. But when all was said and done the waitress had the audacity to question where here tip was on the receipt. I spent more than $100 just this one time. I was going to leave cash on the table. As I know some restaurants skimp the employees of their tips. I thought I was being nice and not to mention I also cleaned up her table. When I complained to the manager not only did she roll her eyes but completely acted like it was a idiot. I have been to Korea seen their beautiful culture and I have never felt this disrespected by a restaurant in my life!! I will never give them my business again. I recommend any other Korean restaurant in Texas.

Delicious. Delicious. Meat you can grill on your own or order some already cooked for you so you dont stress out over not knowing how to cook. If you do decide to cook your food but dont know how to cook. Fear not, the wait staff will do it for you. There is no AYCE meat like most Korean bbq but you are allow to order as much meat as you want. Between me and the cousin, we shared a LA Galbi (short ribs) and a piece of steak (forgot the Korean name) it was one of the pricier ones. The good thing about Korean food is it comes with BANCHAN!!! banchan=side dishes. Lots and lots of banchan offerings and unlimited! you can always ask for more. There are potato, sprouts, kimchi, gelatin stuff, broccoli, and spinach. But side dishes can varies.

Go here for the BBQ! They have a great selection of meats that are juicy and tender. The complimentary sesame oil dipping sauce they serve also goes well with the grilled stuff. Dinner serving for their individual, non grill dishes are more than plenty for one person so I suggest sharing with a friend or getting a smaller serving. Youre going to be stuffed from all the side dishes they serve with dinner as well. Service is attentive and the staff are friendly. This is a good place for groups as they can share the cost of grilling and they can all get to try a little bit of everything off the menu. Overall a great place if you want authentic Korean cuisine and really good BBQ!

Previously known as Chosun Kalbi, now Koryo Kalbi is arguably the most well known Korean restaurant in Dallas, TX. Wide variety of foods ranging from meats, Korean style stews and monthly special will satisfy your tastebuds. Its conveniently located in Royal lane with other Korean stores. Store inside is farily large which can accomodate small, large and private party with separated rooms as well. If you want to explore Korean food this place is the the best to start with and probably is the safest choice. (PROS) Clean, fast service, wide range of foods, monthly specials, free salad and soup during lunch, (CONS) Not specialized in specific food

The food is delicioso but we came at a busy hour and the service crew arent enough to cater to a huge crowd. Our server was great but we had to remind her that we still didnt have rice and she was already serving the cooked bbqs. As we started eating and feeling thirsty, we realized they have not served us any drinks. We had to wait and remind them we need water, the kids were all loud saying they need water. It was a little stressful. But the food was good. A little pricey tho. But, they dont automatically include the tip to the bill. So, you have the choice of how much you wanna leave for tip.
