I wasnt going to post a review because Harvest already has so many good reviews and great word of mouth, but after seeing a negative review I felt compelled to respond. I am also used to a "high level" of dining and have eaten at some of the greatest restaurants on the east coast, but I have to say that Harvest is among one of our all time favorites. Its not just the food that is exceptional, its the service too. I wish I knew her name, but the one waitress (tattoos and nice eyebrows) has been so personable and friendly that my wife and I really enjoyed just talking with her about all kinds of things. The food: If you get a chance to try the Moroccan lamb shank, dont hesitate. Their scallop dish is as good as any Ive had and you MUST try the Harvest Napoleon for dessert! Yes, the restaurant is small, but its warm and inviting and you will be glad you went.

Used Google maps to locate a decent eatery near Neptune/Wall Twp NJ. We are from Somerset and Mercer counties, over 50 miles away. Found Harvest and tried it on a Thursday Afternoon in Sept. All local and farm fresh products, the food was fantastic. Its a little pricey for a midday lunch, but that will not stop my family and me from returning. Its nice to see the little downtown Farmingdale getting gentrified. I would recommend Harvest to anyone. Ps BYOB, and call for dinner reservations, its very small inside....

We stumbled upon Harvest on Yelp and were completely blown away at the quality of the food. Everything was high quality and something that you would likely find at a top notch restaurant in the city. The up side was that it was a casual environment located close to home. The Duck Duck Duck small plate is highly recommended. We are big foodies and always enjoy trying new places. Harvest was the best experience that we have had in a long time. We can not say enough good things and already have plans to go back!

Just decided to check out Harvest on a whim today while I was in Farmingdale and glad I did. Its refreshing to see a restaurant in the area that not only has incorporated the local seasonal concept but has done it well. Had the Harvest Pork Chop today and I can truly say it was one of the best pork chops I have had. Im glad I asked Rita, one of the staff, for some of her favorites and took her suggestion on the pork chop. Cant wait to go back and try other items from the menu. Truly a hidden gem.

I had dinner here last evening,1-3-16. It was my second time there in three weeks. Both times i was greeted by a friendly staff. The food was excellent in the way it was both prepared and served. The dessert last evening was spectacular, cheese cake served with plantains and whipped cream with a caramel sauce-DELICIOUS !!!! I hope to visit there often and wont hesitate to tell everyone to try it, but be prepared it will become a delicious habit !!!

4 of us had a wonderful dinner at Harvest last night. We all had something different and Ill simply say that the plates were quite clean when done. The place is small and can be a bit intimate when full - which seems to be most of the time. Service was delightful and faultless - actually a bit above and beyond that. From our experience and observation, reservations are strongly suggested. As they used to say, "try it, youll like it".

Decided to go here to try something new for Friday Night date night and it was nothing but amazing... I dont usually eat steak but it was fantastic, cook just right. Service was very good, they make you feel like your been friend forever... ☺ ☺ A must try restaurant for anyone wanting something different from the ordinary!!

We went for dinner in the Spring. It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the service was great, when dinner was over the chef came out to our table, and had a drink with us. The place is small, so I suggest reservations. We will definitely be going back soon!!!!! BYOB

Great food and very friendly service, a winning combination. I had the 12 ounce NY strip, it melted in my mouth. Not 5 stars because they offer breadsticks and not fresh bread before the meal. Its byob with liquor store right next store. Give it a try, you will love it.

Very high quality and excellent value for the money. Space is small and cramped, but so what, though I fear the turnover might not be high enough to sustain the business. The food is awesome. Who expected a place like this in "downtown" Farmingdale.

Great food and really fun servers. I had chicken that was tasty and juicy with well cooked veggies. The dining room is small so try for the table next to the front window for the best view. Really like that they use local farmers for ingredients.
