Quality of food is great 90% of the time. The only problem with this place is it claims it closes at 11pm. Everytime I have gone here past 930pm (has happened everytime) they have no more food. So in reality it closes about 915pm. Most recent occurrence of this was on 8/3/13 Went in at 10pm, all they had was rice and drinks. I typically go here once a month, though the last 5 months have been past 930pm so I have to label it as poor/fair as I have not been able to confirm quality of food in the past 5 months as they never have any when I attempt to buy food from here. Usually there are other Pollo Tropical en route to where I head, So I no longer plan on going to this one anymore.

Took a friend here for a first time dining experience and it was horrible. Food was first off sitting on counter beyond ample time to bring to table and the order was wrong. The tables in the dining hall were dirty. The chicken was over cooked and DRY, jerky has more moisture. The ribs werent bad, the veggies were straight out of a can no flavor or seasoning ....... I will never eat here again.

Took forever to get food. Eventually had to go get some of it myself. Staff spilled food all over the floor and never cleaned it up. Dining room is infested with ants. They got all over our food. The managers solution was to pull the table away from the wall so the ants couldnt get on it. Gee thanks. Absolutely disgusting. Staff and management should be ashamed of themselves.

I love eating here. The chicken is absolutely delicious and their sauce bar is even more mouth watering. The staff is great about making sure you have all you need and they walk around and ask from time to time if youre doing OK. The prices also are awesome. I pay 8 dollars for a bunch of food. I come here sometimes up to three times a week. Yummy!

Place was really busy, but floors and tables were gross. A few food prep people in the back were not wearing gloves or hair nets. My son spent the 20 minutes we waited for our food watching ants go up and down the wall. This store has gone downhill over the past year. It used to be clean and service was quick. Even on busy days.

food is good and you know what to expect when you order. pretty much all the pollo tropicals are the same when it comes to the food- its good. only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because they dont have someone clean up the tables after people are done with the food and there are more customers than people for this restaurant

Love the food. Hate the Service and the fact that the tables are always dirty. No matter which pollo I go to, its always the same issue. Now I tend to just use the drive through which is quick and no need to stand in an endless line and stare at dirty tables while searching for a place to sit.

next time advise your customers that chicken would take long to get cook properly. i was waiting for around 30 minutes for my order and when I asked what happened, someone from the staff told us it would take 10 more minutes, seriously?. I had to cancel my order because that was ridiculous.

It used to be good. Now the last few times the food doesnt taste the same; wrap was cold and falling apart (tortilla seemed old); tomatoes did not seem fresh at all; portions not the same just to name a few. On top of that, service is not as good as it used to be.

none of the cooks wore hair nets, and the kitchen was very unsanitary and uncleaned. there was food everywhere and all over the floor in the kitchen and dinning room. And one of the workers Lindsey, was very rude to her other co worker in front of the customers.

Yucca and cilantro garlic sauce. Guys. The other food is good, but seriously try this. I refer to them as my Caribbean fries. The servings are huge. Im a big girl and I cant finish the large bowl of food. So, get a large to share and then try their unique sides.

like most of the food here in sanford, its very hit and miss... food at most places is hardly ever hot enough, they skimp on the protein, and sorta jerk you on the sauces. i go because its cheap; thats about it.

I always enjoy the healthy menu from Pollo Tropical. They only had one person bringing out the food and bussing the tables. Though it was lunchtime and rather busy it was a lot of work for this lady.

Dont go after 7pm, the night crew is not good. Four people standing around watching one person working, only car in the line and waited for 20 minutes, and half the order was wrong.
